We were so impressed with the atmosphere and experience that anyone we've spoken with looking to get a tattoo we've referred to Studio 21! We kind of last minute decided on wedding ring tattoos and got Tyson as our artist (which I was very happy for, I follow him on Instagram and love his work!). Gave him the lead as far as design because as an artist I think he's awesome! Very happy with what we got and will definitely be back for more!

A really good, professional shop. I have many large tattoos and I got a small one here. For some reason this tattoo made me feel like I was going to pass out but the artist Travis was super nice and let me lay down and didn’t make me feel like too much of a wuss or anything. Love, love, loved my experience at Studio 21. They were recommended to me by a local friend when I was visiting Vegas for a convention. As soon as I walked in I was impressed by the clean, retro feel, and the attentive friendliness of the staff. I went by myself and was worried about feeling intimidated, but that was not an issue. They had me laughing the whole time. And most importantly, I am in love with my tattoo. They do quick, beautiful work for a reasonable price. (I got a colorful quill on my wrist, which he sketched for me when I described it.) 100% recommend them.

Called to schedule an appointment and explained to them what I wanted, they asked for a deposit before they were okay doing the tattoo. I showed them what i wanted and they quoted three times the amount what it's worth. Their deposit is nonrefundable but they won't give you a quote until you schedule an appointment... kinda messed up.

This was not my first tattoo rodeo, but it was one of the BEST!! As a recent Las Vegas transplant, I needed to find a new shop/artist for a piece I wanted done in homage of my son's 21st birthday. I've been a Shel Silverstein fan for 4 decades, and decided on a piece from The Giving Tree. I did my research and sent out inquiries to 3 highly rated shops in the area. Lauren responded to my email inquiry within an hour, and was extremely helpful and friendly when I spoke with her on the phone. She set up an appointment for me with Nick Bones. Nick was nothing short of AMAZING. He took my "elementary" drawing and elevated it to beautiful art that I was THRILLED to add to my forearm. Not only that, but he was genuinely "good people". Everyone that I came into contact with at Studio 21 Tattoo was professional, friendly, and made me feel at home. I will most definitely be back! ~*~*~ Went back for my second visit with Nick Bones and continue to be impressed with everyone in this shop!

I wanted to get a tattoo on my last day in town and after doing some research, I found Studio 21 and they actually had an available appointment for me. The staff is wonderful, the receptionist is so friendly and sweet. I was quoted a fair price and Charlie had a drawing ready for me when I walked in. He was very accommodating and very willing to discuss making adjustments to the drawing before the application. He was very pleasant to chat with while he did my tattoo, it made the whole thing go by very quickly. My tattoo turned out amazing and I honestly couldn't be happier with it. The shop is very clean and neat. I have absolutely no complaints and I would definitely come back for another tattoo next time I'm in town.

I absolutely loved this place! I went to get my first tattoo last year during the summer while I was visiting family. Through a Google search and great reviews, I came upon this place and could not have gone wrong. I was paired up with Nick Bones (if that is actually his last name because I doubt it when it's comes to tattoo artists & their names). Nick was SUPER friendly and comforting. We both were geeking out and being nerds. I totally could relate to him because his work area had photos of his dogs and I instantly knew we would get a along! I would definitely recommend to others who are visiting the Las Vegas area to go here! It has great arists, clean work space and reasonable prices (in my opinion)

Great shop. Fiance and I went for our first ever ink. Alan was super helpful in taking our design and suggesting placement, size, line weight, etc. Clean facility, nicely decorated with lots of character. We had the same design, hers placed on by her ankle, mine on my shoulder. The photos are right after the ink was placed, and since then, it's been healing/peeling nicely. Will definitely be back to expand and grow the ink!

Then an awesome experience with our tattoo artist, Nick. He was super friendly and nice! We had some great conversations with him as well. The service was above and beyond and the receptionist was very kind when we called/visited. The shop is very clean and professional and seems to be booked up quite a lot .They were able to get us in the day we called for 2 small 1 1/2" tattoos .The reason for 4 stars is based on 2 things: we were under quoted nearly 60 dollars and both our tattoos have some pretty noticeable mistakes. Unfortunately, we didn't realize until we had taken off the bandages.

I was a walk in and the artist that was available first recommended I wait for a different artist to finish because he felt that artist could do a better job with the type of tattoo I wanted. I respect that he was more concerned with the customer that with losing a job. The wait was worth it! Huge shout out to Chad James. My friend and I searched for the best reviews on google for tattoo shops. It was a last minute tattoo hunt and we were glad we decided to go here. The place was so cleaning and inviting. The prices are more here but that's Vegas for you. He knew exactly what I wanted and made me feel as comfortable as I could. 2.5 hours later and I had beautiful artwork. They do close earlier than most shops. You'll also spend around $8 for tattoo aftercare there, not too bad (airplane friendly bottles). I would choose this place over others.

Hands down one of the best tattoo places I've been to in my life. Las Vegas local but I've traveled all over the world and finally decided I wanted to get a tattoo in town. I checked many places, talked with different artists, and looked at their work portfolios. Many places have great art but very few in Vegas have great attitudes as well. I've had 3 tattoos here now and will be going back soon! If you like Star Wars, make sure you set up an appointment with Swarm. I'm not a Star Wars fan but he's done 2 of my tats so far and his work is awesome. His wall is covered in Star Wars and "Sailor Jerry" style art.

I have gotten 8 of my tattoos at Studio 21. Tonight I got a tattoo from Jose. He is new to Studio 21 (I got his very first Studio 21 business card), though not new to tattooing in Vegas. He is talented. And while he is truly an artist, I came in with a picture of what I wanted and he didn't hesitate. He drew it. He made a couple suggestions to make it translate better to skin (totally the right call) and gave me a gorgeous piece of art on my arm I know that it can sometimes be tough translating client wants to tattoo art but he did it flawlessly. This shop is awesome. The atmosphere is amazing. We called Kayla the day before our flight to Vegas and she was able to accommodate us with no problem. Nick Bones did mine and my wife's first ever tattoos and all I can say is WOW. His professionalism is awesome. His work is amazing. He explained everything in detail before he did it and gave a full explanation for proper care when we were finished. We sent drafts and photos before arriving and Nick presented his proofs and they were spot on what we wanted. For us, I guess if we want any more tattoos, we'll be flying back to Vegas. We won't be going anywhere else for ink work that's for sure!!

Yes, yes, yes - you want to get your next (or first) tattoo done here. Travis did an amazing job on a mountain scene tattoo on my fore arm and a similar scene on my boyfriend's chest. I saw some of Travis' work on his Instagram and boy did it look just as cool in real life. Travis worked with me to come up with a design together and made sure I really liked it. Travis is very talented and a really nice guy. The staff at Studio 21 is fantastic - Aileen and McKenna were super helpful communicating back and forth with me via email and over phone to get us ready for our appointments. The shop owners were around while we were in and you can tell they really care about their business and love what they do. All of the tattoo artists were friendly to us while we are there. Well, I have to be honest. I was very disappointed. My artist, Alan, is very talented, however, I don't know what kind of tool he was using on me but the pain was unbearable. It was like a constant scraping and gouging. My sister and I got hummingbird tattoos which had all kinds of colors. Hers was done by another artist and is gorgeous and he didn't use the same type of tool. After 2 1/2 hrs I told my artist I was done. It has only one color. The two birds just have some blue and that's it. I couldn't stand the pain anymore. I have 5 other tats and never experienced this kind of discomfort. Just so disappointed.

My friend and I had a great experience at Studio 21 from the moment we first walked in! We had made an appointment 2 weeks prior but they do take walk ins as well. Right from the start the receptionist Aileen was super friendly and made us feel comfortable. Austin was our tattoo artist and he was awesome as well! I’ve toyed with the idea of getting a tattoo for over 30 years. I could never conceive a design that actually meant something to me. Then I did. Fate intervened and on my last day of work, a customer showed me his new tattoo. The exceptional detail and the color contrast were striking. He referred me to Nick at Studio 21. My co-workers gave me a Visa gift card when I retired and I shocked everyone by deciding to use it for a tattoo. My tattoo was for me. I wanted to be inspired by it throughout the day. I didn’t want to share it with others if I didn’t want to, so I had it placed on the top of my foot. Nick did a superb job with my design, making it fit perfectly. The individual feathers are well-defined and the font he chose for the lettering distinct. I’m so pleased with the outcome that I’ve found a heartening verse for the other foot. I also want to thank Aileen for being exceedingly knowledgeable and kindly answering my after-care questions. I commend the shop for having the tattoo process information on the web site. It answered questions I had and ones I wouldn’t have thought to ask. My entire experience with Studio 21 Tattoo has been fantastic and I highly recommend them, especially if this is your first tattoo.

Unlike a lot of the other shops I've been in the gents here were friendly and personable (Joey has the front of the house service on lock). The place itself was clean and had a fun, inviting aesthetic. Austin brought my slightly unusual vision to fruition and his outgoing personality made the time fly while sitting in his chair. I will agree with all the reviews about it being a nice shop and friendly staff, but my tattoo is not at all what I asked for. I am very disappointed with how it turned out. I feel like I had a long discussion about what I wanted for coloring and my tattoo looks very basic. Now I will have to spend a lot of time researching if anything can be done to fix it. I feel like I took a long time to make a decision about what to get and how I wanted to look, I made a consultation and talked to Nick about what I liked, and he assured me he would have a complete drawing when I came in for my appointment. When I got there he had no complete drawing and couldn't even remember what names I wanted, even thou I gave him a sketch with the names and I gave him notes on the tattoo. He seemed very unprepared I guess I should have known then to walk away but I already had a down payment and he said he completely understood what I wanted, so I went for it. On the other hand my husband had a tattoo done on a whim, his first tattoo, by swarm and it turned out great. So I guess that makes me even more disappointed cause I was completely prepared and my turned out so plain and amateur with no blending or shading what so ever! And his looks great.

I went on a girl's trip to Vegas and found this tattoo shop online. I told them what I wanted and they paired me up with Travis. Dude is an amazing artist! I sent him a pic of what I was interested in and the spot on my arm available for it. I'm working on a sleeve so it had to fit next to other stuff and not look tacky. He drew it up with his own spin, we talked about some colors, and end result: It is beautiful! Super bright colors, crisp lines, beautiful coloring. I love love love his work. Shop was super clean, organized, and covered in cool art. Now I'm considering more Vegas trips for more tattoos! Definitely would refer my friends and I'm definitely going back myself!

My husband suggested we get tattoos for our annual anniversary trip to Vegas and we both knew we wanted something meaningful. Initially, I was already impressed by the online reviews and posted works from each artist but, then, came the incredible customer service through multiple emails (thank you Aileen and McKenna!) so I could send sketches and describe what we wanted. Their follow up and pairing us with the perfect artist was incredible (my husband had Das Frank and I had Chad)! We also decided to leave the final design to the artists' mind and we were simply blown away. Both of our tattoos far exceeded anything we had imagined ourselves. I was visiting Vegas for work and as soon as I found out I was going, I wanted to get a tattoo while I was out there. I looked around, specifically at places near the hotel I was staying at, and I wasn't impressed with the work of the artists I saw. Not to mention a lot of reviews talking about how overpriced the mediocre work was. I wanted to reach out to an artist anyways, and they never got back to me. So, I took that as a sign to go elsewhere. I did a search for other shops off the strip, and here I find Studio 21 Tattoo. Three of the artists alone do the kind of work I like (traditional flash). I emailed the shop to schedule an appointment, left my contact information, and waited to hear from the shop. Lauren called me back right away to discuss my idea, pick out a date, and I was able to put down my deposit. Really easy going and very professional. Come a month later, and I have my appointment. I was booked with Swarm (this guy has amazing traditional style work on his portfolio and Instagram, so I was really excited for my session) When I walked in the shop, the owner greeted me and I was able to fill out my information right away. Then I was able to meet Swarm and he showed me the two designs he drew up and we decided on the bigger one. Once he was all set up, we got right down to it. He was very polite and professional. The rest of the staff there were really friendly. This was the first time I came here, I felt so welcomed like I've always gone to this shop! Three hours later, I got my beautiful stag on my calf! Swarm quoted me a very reasonable price (about the same I would pay at my regular shop) so that was another plus. The customer service did not end after check out. The owner called me a cab and let me wait inside until it arrived. I really appreciate the customer service and work these guys did. I know if I ever go back to Vegas, I'll be scheduling an appointment again.

Talk about beautiful. This is probably the cleanest most well set up tattoo parlor I've ever seen. The team is phenomenal. They have beautiful artwork all around, not just flash art, but actual nice fine artwork all around the shop. My artist is Das Frank. I'm sure his hands were blessed by some divine being. We've done 2 long sessions and I've never been more impressed with an artist. The amount of detail and professionalism is unmatched.

Awesome place!!! I have been trying to get a tattoo that has a lot of meaning to me for over 3 years and I have carried my sketch in my wallet the entire time. My wife and I came to Vegas for a vacation and I figured I would try to find somewhere that could fit me in and I'm so glad I did. I sent in an inquiry, got a very quick response back, shot them a picture of my sketch, made and appointment all in a very timely manner. Chad James took on the challenge and he knocked it out of the park. I left the design detail to him and well as the size and I'm so glad I did. EVERYTHING is perfect. (My wife later stated she had some apprehension of me getting the tattoo but she LOVES it now) The shop is excellent, very friendly and helpful and inviting. GET OFF THE STRIP and get to Studio 21 if you are even thinking of getting ARTWORK on your body.

Mike Biggs went out of his way to accommodate my husband and I. His hands are gentle, his lines are clean, and he is super nice. From his portfolio and the pictures he has painted on his walls you can see he is a very talented artist, and not just another dude with a tattoo gun. We have another appointment set up already!!! Only negative with Mike is that he's a popular guy and really booked up, so plan in advance if you want his time. It's worth the cash!

Hubby and I were getting out first tattoos (at age 56 & 57) and I did a lot of research to find the right artist and location. Studio 21 lives up to it's 5-star reputation, no doubt. They are very professional, we emailed back and forth before making the appointment (definitely make an appointment in advance!) We knew up front an estimate of the costs, the procedures, and which artist we would be working with. We met with Travis a couple days before the appointment for a quick consult, which put us at ease. Jose did a gorgeous watercolor hummingbird for me and Travis did my husband's mathematical equation. Both artists were very meticulous making sure we were happy with the custom designs, the size, placement - everything - before getting started. As others have mentioned, the studio is VERY clean. We were extremely pleased with the work, the environment, and the staff. Highly recommend for first timers.

I was here as moral support while my best friend got a tattoo. The shop was easy to find from the street and there was a lot of parking available. It took a little over 2 hours for the tattoo, which was pretty great considering the size. Our artist was Chad and he was friendly, knowledgeable, and an amazing artist! The shop itself was very clean and well decorated; it had a really comfortable vibe to it. I love that each artist had their own private room rather than it being one big open space. I also loved that they have all the aftercare products for sale in the lobby so you don't have to make a stop at a store afterwards. All in all, it was a great experience and I would recommend it for anyone looking to get a tattoo.

From when I first emailed them to when I walked out the door with my new tattoo, they were polite, professional, and quite friendly. The studio is very clean and comfortable. My artist was Das Frank and he did a phenomenal job. I had been quite nervous about getting my foot tattooed, but he made me feel comfortable and assured me that it would be fine. He was professional and friendly throughout the whole experience. He also was kind enough to "retouch" my first tattoo, which had blown out over 3 years (honestly he redid the whole tattoo and made it look 1,000x better). To be honest, I nearly cried because of how good it looked and how kind he was to do for nothing additional. I can say I'm looking forward to the next time I have money for another tattoo because I know exactly where to go. If you want to get a tattoo, then I would definitely recommend Studio21Tattoo! You'll be in great hands!

This place was fantastic from start to finish. From my first inquiry call, Joey took care to make sure that I was matched with an artist that could do just what I wanted. He got back to me promptly and making an appointment was crazy smooth. Then when I arrived, the studio was clean, Check in was friendly and all the staff we upbeat and it was obvious they all work well together and are friends. J Swarm, the artist I was paired with, was professional and drew my design just how I wanted, with a few of his own recommendations that I took and I'm so glad I Did! The piece is BEAUTIFUL. Different than I initially thought I wanted but he was able to show me how it would look digitally on a tablet and I quickly realized he knew best! I couldn't be happier with the resulting tattoo and the price was fair for the quality of work. Speaking of price, both Joey and Swarm made sure to quite me up front what my tattoo would cost and they stuck to it. 10/10 will recommend. All around a great place to get tattoos in Vegas.

Terrific. Got my first tattoo from Nick during our vacation. I was so happy with it that I called my husband and he got one too! Joey at the front of house was great from the moment I called and requested an appointment. He's kind of a hoot. My husband has had a few other tattoos and told me that he has not had an experience this good from any other shop. I've been trying to talk myself into a tattoo for 18 years and finally had one done here and I know its because they were so comfortable to talk to (even though Joey wouldnt let you puss out even if you wanted too!). If I ever decide to get another tattoo it will be worth it for me to make the trip from Oregon to Vegas just to get tattooed from this "family" I trust. If you're cool and young or older and rebellious, you'll be comfortable here. Ya, they're THAT good.

I also recently had my eyebrows done by Aileen and she spent a lot of time with me, fixing up the stencil so that they were exactly even and exactly how I wanted them. She was very attentive, made sure I was comfortable, and made the experience a very good one. I wish I had gotten my eyebrows done sooner, I've already gotten quite a few compliments on them and I feel so much more put together with them already done. THE BEST EXPERIENCE HERE!!! I saw Alan for my first tattoo on my forearm. It was a quote that I wrote myself, and had him transfer to the stencil. I was such a perfectionist and brought my paper that had over 20 options on it. I ever went so far as to have him write it out and switch a small portion of the “s” to make it exactly how I wanted. He was SO patient and redid the stencil four different times, without ever making me feel I needed to settle or it was a burden (even though it must have been so frustrating!!) Each time he listened to my feedback and altered it until it was perfect. In addition, he made sure I knew how it would look from every angle and every way my arm turned (all things you don’t think about until it’s on you!) He walked me through every aspect and was so thorough BEFORE he started. I am SO grateful for Alan! It turned out exactly how I wanted and the process was painless! He was also there to answer my questions after hours when I panicked and saw my ink buildup and thought it would be permanent- lol) as well! Five stars and would recommend him to everyone!!! Clean studio and Eileen at the front desk is also amazing!!! Nothing but great things to say- thank you so much Studio 21!!

Stay away from the Vegas Strip tattoo places. They are brutally expensive and couldn’t care less about you. I found Studio 21 on google and they had the best reviews and a high review count. I showed up and within 15 minutes they were working on me. I’m extremely happy with the work they did and their price was fair. They were all real cool in there. I had some fun conversations with the staff while getting the work done.

If you are looking to get a tattoo in Veags this is the place to go. Right from the day of booking a appointment (three months prior) the service was amazing. Since I was coming out of country I emailed my ideas to the studio and when I got there the design was right on target.
