This was my first tattoo. I did a bunch of research and got a recommendation for never fade tattoo. I went in and they were super friendly explaining how the process works. I took a picture of what I was looking for in and Josh came back with a few changes to make it my own. I was very impressed. It was a great experience and will go back if I decide to get another one. I will also recommend them to my friends.

We had an amazing experience here!!! We were in town for the Younique conference & me & my girls wanted to get matching tats. After being rudely dismissed from another shop, this place accepted us with open arms & we couldn't be more happy with the results! Both Andy & Drew worked on us getting us in & out quickly! Allie pierced 2 of us (very spur of the moment decision) & was AWESOME! I highly recommend this shop! I loved the space & the art. The boys were true gentlemen as well as warm & hilarious! The whole staff made this special moment of our weekend that much more special ❤️ I will go back next time I'm down in STL for sure!

Will went out of his way to make sure i was calm && even did a small line to see if i could handle it/how i would react. Will is beyond amazing at what he does. We walked in, after calling ahead, and waited for at least 15+ minutes before anyone even talked to us. When there the girl was ridiculously rude to us while being chirpy and nice to other customers. Had come to her for a piercing before where she was similarly rude and not that politeness she showed to others at all. Tried to pressure my friend into getting more than she wanted done and was just generally rude. Definitely won't recommend this place to anyone. The work is amazing but the service is just terrible

But my tattoo artist, Adam, and was very patient and understanding through the entire process. I have been a chronic migraine sufferer since I was 12 years old. I have tried every kind of treatment you can imagine but I’ve never found anything that really made much difference. Since getting my daith pierced by Allie Pierce it has made more of a difference than any medication ever has and while it hasn’t eliminated my pain it has certainly made a notable difference and I’m very glad to have done it. I still suffer chronic pain but the overall level has been decreased. I must say I was leery going in that it was going to hurt a great deal but looking back that seems so silly now. With all the pain I’ve dealt with over the years a few seconds of pain is nothing for potential relief and honestly I’ve had migraines (or stubbed toes for that matter) that hurt far worse than this did and once it was over it helped me feel less pain in the future. I would highly recommend getting a daith piercing with Allie for anyone that suffers from migraines. She is really a great piercer and is knowledgeable about piercings as treatment for migraines, which to me was very important. One thing that held me back originally was going in to places and having the people there tell me they knew little to nothing about piercings as treatments for migraines or if they did they thought it was absurd. Allie was the first person I found to really know what she was talking about and say that she had done piercings for this purpose before (and with success as well). That gave me confidence to give it a try. I didn’t want someone doing a treatment on me that they themselves didn’t believe had a chance of working! Working with someone who was confident and had had success in the past made me feel comfortable and in the end I am very pleased with my decision. It may not be a treatment that would work for everyone but I know many people including myself that have had good luck with it. Best of all is that unlike many traditional treatments you don’t have a long list of potential side effects to worry about. I was in fact so pleased with it that only a few weeks after getting the left side done I went back in to get the right side done to increase the effects and help it work on both sides of my head.

If you're looking to go somewhere at the time you make a tattoo appointment, you'll be un-pleasantly surprised. My friend had an appointment for 9pm and they took someone else before him. It is now 10:35 and the tattoo hasn't even been started. By all means go here if you want to play the waiting game.

Wow, I am overjoyed with my first tattoo. Josh was my artist. He listened to what I envisioned my tattoo to look like, and it was all custom drawn. He went above and beyond enhancing my vision with his own touch and colors. I had a whole inner arm Memorial tattoo, and Josh nailed it. I highly recommend Josh, he is not only a very talented artist, but he was friendly, talkative and gentle. I couldn't be happier with the results of my tattoo. He was also very fair in pricing. I highly recommend this place for your future tattoo. I added a dahlia and roses to my arm. Andy did an amazing job. I went in right when they opened on a Saturday to discuss my idea, Andy gave some suggestions on placement and color, which were pretty helpful. We made an appointment for that Saturday evening at 7pm for just the outline and 2 weeks later, I came back to add color to the roses. These flowers turned out incredible. He was so detailed with each line and color. I love my new tattoos! Friendly service & a clean environment-- I'm definitely coming back to finish my sleeve.

Short story: COME HERE! Really great place. If you're in St. Louis and want a tattoo, call, ask for Andy, and get the tattoo of your dreams. Long story: This is was my first tattoo and I was getting it with my two sisters so it meant a lot. It was something we had been planning for a long while so actually getting it was mindblowing. I called the shop as a walk in (really easy) and was able to come in the same day. I brought in my own design which Andy touched up to make it tattoo-able. The tattoo that my sisters and I got consisted of a lot of straight even lines which, I kid you not, Andy inked them down to the point! All in all, I'm in love with how it came out and the process of getting it was enjoyable. The atmosphere is great with a spacious front room. My sisters and one friend were also able to come in the back and watch while we got the tattoos done. Props to this tattoo shop!! Definitely coming back for my second one

When I initially left my review it was literally days after I got my first tattoo. Little did I know I was not only over charged, but the artist who did it couldn't even remember me after a couple weeks when I noticed I was probably going to need some touch ups. My initial appointment was with Andy the owner. I put down a $100 deposit and they rescheduled me, because he had some things come up. That's ok, I understand life happens. When I came in for my appointment he acted as if he was too busy to talk to me and literally pushed me off onto another artist. Remember this is my first tattoo. The artist was very nice and he did make the experience enjoyable as far as keeping informed of each step. That's why I changed my rating to a 2 instead of a 1. After talking with other artists from another shop that has been around in the St. Louis area forever, I realized that I was taken advantage of and overcharged. The tattoo does not look terrible, but it needs touch ups. Needless to say I never went back, because of how Andy treated me and how the artist conveniently couldn't remember me once I said I think I'm going to need some touch ups. I would have been a loyal life long customer had Andy actually cared and they would have taken care of the touch up issues. (I copied and pasted this from Facebook. The worst experience in my entire life. I give it one star for the friendly receptionist. It was my first tattoo, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I should have trusted my gut when I was lead into a stone basement with a sweaty, shaky tattoo "artist." He did a horrible job, going over and over the simple pattern I picked out. Making it too thick and causing me unnecessary discomfort. I would not ever recommend this place. I was told by many to go get my $ back, but I didn't want to step foot back in that place ever again.

If I could have given this experience less than 1 star I would have. But that wasn't an option-so here it is. I was referred to Andy Bell from several friends of mine-one of whom I had been with when they went to get a tattoo done by him. His work is amazing and so I waited 6-7 years to get my next tattoo done Bc he was hard to track down and I wanted my next tattoo to be perfect. Not only did I tell him this, but I also told him that I was ok to wait a few months if he was booked that far out on his schedule. I went up with my idea-gave him all my info, he couldn't find his scheduling book and so he took my info and gave me his cell info even. Didn't think it would be an issue to give him my deposit since I had known ppl to receive work from him previously and all had gone well for them. It has been over 2 weeks now. I haven't heard anything from him. I have called his cell and left messages, the shop and left messages for him to return my call, several texts and I even went to the shop yesterday to get my deposit back...they were closed during business hours. I went at 5pm and they were supposed to be open from 12-10:30pm. I just want to let other ppl know that not only did I not even get out on the schedule for my tattoo--but now I out $100 deposit on a tattoo that would prob only cost me $200 MAX. Worst customer service and tattoo experience I have had yet. Def a huge run around. Shame u can't just get a good tattoo artist that provides good customer service as well. I will be going somewhere else and wanted to share my experience so others don't have this happen to them.

Location had a piercing special. I heard about it through a friend whom heard about it on Facebook. I went and had the pleasure of meeting Allie and having her give me a conch piercing. My friend went with me and received a septum piercing and had a light headed dizzy feeling and Allie was on it and knew what to do. She knows what's she's doing and I would recommend this location and piercer for anything. She also makes sure you're comfortable and always doing okay. I definitely will be going back for future work. They also had a nice decor set up and lay out in the waiting area.

Would never go back. I went here for my first tattoo. I got a guy named Joseph. He did not listen to what I said I wanted at all. My first session, he did draw up the letters and I was satisfied. My second session he drew on me with a sharpie for about two hours and made a complete mess on me. I told him what I wanted and he still didn't listen. This has ruined tattoos for me. I am currently getting this tattoo laser removed because I hate it so much. Waste of money.
