As a truck driver its hard to get ink on such short notice. I called in asked if they had time today for a walk in. 15 minutes later (rode my bike from flying j to the shop) im in the chair getting some fresh ink from Dr Ink. Excellent work. He even offered to give me a ride back to my truck (i declined im fluffy and needed the exercise) my company fuels at the flying j so when i get more money and a new design, ill definitely be back!

I came here, because of the lack of customer service I received at another shop. The shop is very clean and has a laid-back vibe. On top of that, the workers were cool and I only had to wait a few minutes to be seen. I'd only come here to get an earring changed, but will most likely come back for more services! I walked in and the place is clean and it's a super fun atmosphere.. pool table and video games for your friends who aren't getting a tattoo which is really unique, and makes you feel welcome! All the people who work there were very nice and professional. Jamaal did my tats and he was very patient and knew what he was doing. Got my belly button piercing done by Aaron and he did a great good and was very nice at my visit. The only downside is that the only thing he suggested that I treat my piercing was his Liquid Gold aftercare solution (great stuff) which I bought and used as directed and I didn't have any issues . I just feel as though for someone who may not be able to afford the extra $10 or may have a some other reason for not wanting to purchase it , he should provide some alternative aftercare instructions.

"Lightest touch in the business" is how my artist, Silver, described his approach and he didn't disappoint. I've gotten tattoos in Chicago and Las Vegas - who knew my best experience would be in Jackson, MS?! Most notably (for me) was that he actually talked me out of a tattoo. After such a great experience, I was planning to get a second tattoo the same day - a memorial tattoo - and Silver noticed that I wasn't quite decided on what to get and he talked me through it, stressing the importance of being sure about my choice in honoring my mother. Now, I mention this because most artists would've pushed me forward (or ignored my hesitation) to make money, but he didn't and I really appreciated that. And, when I'm ready, I'll be sure to visit Silver for all of my future work. So, whether you're getting your first tattoo, adding to your body art, or skittish about needles, you'll have a friend in Silver!
