The staff are super friendly and welcoming, the owner is especially nice and super cool. I had cody rose, and usually I don't care to see apprentices anymore (from older mess ups), but she is really good at what she does. She takes her time and is really passionate about what she does. Super easy, personable, and fun to talk to! If you like anything nerdy and want nerdy tattoos, go to her!! She will put her love into it. You won't be disappointed.

Went in on a walk-in basis and was helped by Kelly! I got a small tattoo on my finger and he did really well! He was super patient and very helpful. One of the friendliest people who’ve ever tattooed me! He was very open to what I wanted and was able to make it exactly how I wanted it. The entire shop was amazing- the inside is by far one of the coolest I’ve seen. From what I saw with other artists, all of their customers were happy with them. I definitely suggest going here whether it’s a walk-in or appointment. Definitely true to their amazing reputation!

I was able to experience the shop outside of it's home at Tattoo You Comvention and I had a blast. Garret was who I worked with and he was amazing. I was not expecting to get anything, but after a quick conversation about a shared band we liked I knew he was the one to work with. All the other artists who were there came over and he introduced me to them. I could not be happier with my experience with Garret and his team. Classy place! The artists are friendly, honest, and talented. Some are new, some are experienced, but all have their own area of expertise. Cody Rose did a lizard behind my ear (on the spot artwork, I LOVE it!) and is working on a larger piece for me. She's newer, but that didn't matter or show in her work - go see her, she is worthy of more skin real estate!

Well I wasn't at Black coffin tattoo but I was next door doing work for common apparel. from what I seen though while I was there a lot of people came through. A lot of nice tattoos so I'm assuming that this is a class act place. I have quite a few tattoos and I would definitely go there to get one if I ever had the time.

Friendly and helpful front desk. I was referred to Erik Luna by someone whose tattoo I liked and asked about. Erik did a nice job of listening to my idea and looking at what I wanted done. He took my idea and artistically added colors and sutleties to the tattoo that made my simple forearm tattoo rock! I recommend the shop AND Erik.

There's always a bunch of sk8 bros clogging the entrance and blocking surrounding business entrances as well. Rude AF. June 19th- A group of representatives for Black Coffin were shooting a promotional video for "their brand" that included public intoxication, stumbling out into the street creating a traffic hazard, harassing fellow building tenants with a drone, shooting fireworks at other studio's windows, and all around disrespectful behavior towards the public. If this want BC, they were hiding under your companies name in regards to their actions.

I went in last Saturday for my first tattoo, a memorial piece. The shop is peaceful, clean and laid back. My artist was Marissa; and after figuring out the details, she went to work. My cousin was there for support, we talked and laughed (mostly) the whole time:) wasn't sure what to expect pain or otherwise, but it was probably one of the best life experiences I've had.
