the costumer service was really good very down to earth people! (at least the artists and piercers) the hostess had a little bit of an attitude. I went there with 2 of my friends to get cartilage and all of our got infected 2 days after. One of our friends had to go the the emergency room to get it removed,one had a huge bump on hers that was all irritated and it still there (we got it done 8 months ago),mine also got super infected but i was able to get it back to health. prices are also reasonable recommend if you want a spontaneous piercing but if you are willing to take ur time and look then i would recommend looking around

Whether you're getting your first piercing or a tattoo veteran, this shop is clean, inviting, and the staff are more than helpful. Even with a line of people waiting for tattoos, each artist helped take in new requests, talked to each guest about their designs, and went over the details. One woman's design was a little too small and they explained how'd they'd have to make it larger for the detail. Again, the artist and apprentice taking the time to work with each person. Andrew, the piercer, was attentive and friendly. I was able to get my nipple pierced and get an extra barbell for my other for a total of $50. Very fair pricing! The shop looked as clean as any other 5 star piercing parlor/tattoo shop I've been too. Everything in the piercing room was sterile, Andrew was careful to use gloves and change them as necessary. His attention to detail in lining up my piercings was spot on! I mean, literally, they are mirrors of each other but pierced at least a decade apart. Seriously, this is probably going to become my go to place for body mods. It's close to home and perfectly priced. Good thing I have tattoos planned!

I went in for a daith piercing and was super nervous. All of the online reviews said that Andrew was the best but I didn't want to come off as insulting to the rest of the staff so I didn't ask. Steven dis my piercing and I simply can't praise him enough. He was super easy to talk to, very down to earth and just gave you the vibe that you be known each other for years. I highly recommend him if anyone is getting a piercing. I know if I get another one it will absolutely be from him. Thank you so much Steven!

Went in for some finger tattoos and Mike was my tattoo artist. Before I even got to the shop, they warned me about the ups and downs of getting my fingers tattooed, which I actually never had a tattoo shop warn me about before. Made me feel super calm and he showed me the initial designs before he started tattooing. The tattoos came out great! Definitely recommend!

I got my 3rd tattoo done here about 4 years ago I forget who did my tattoo but he was AWSOME it's was my practically my whole back the outline took 2 and half hours he was great n took his time I came back two weeks later to get the color done which took 1 and half hours again he took his time. 5/5 stars! I got my navel repierced here last week and they were excellent! I was tentative about the wait, since its walk-ins only, but I waited no longer than 10 minutes. The original place I got my belly button done charged $80 with jewelry, but Pins and Needles only charged $45! Also, since it was a repiercing they cut the price even more! Very clean and professional! I had Andrew do my piercing and would highly recommend him!

So many great things to say about this place. None of my other tattooing experiences have been as attentive and smooth as P&N. Went in with a general idea and a very rough sketch and Ray just ran with it. Walked out an hour later with fresh ink that exceeded my expectations. I cannot say enough kind words about Andrew here. I came in borderline panicked about a botched triple forward helix (from another facility) that just wouldn’t heal and was giving me tons of trouble. Andrew explained everything he could do for me and helped me to feel calm as he fixed a problem he had no hand in creating in the first place. I have never felt so at ease while having to endure a lot of discomfort. He had me laughing and smiling and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results. It’s only been a few hours and I feel like I’m actually going to get to sleep soundly for the first night in weeks because I already feel relief from my previous pain. I’ll be back for all my future piercings. Thank you Andrew!!

I got my original piercings done at Claire's a decade and half ago. They kept closing and giving me trouble. So today I went to this place to get them re-pierced. Andrew was awesome, he explained the process and made sure I was ready. He double checked the hole placement and it actually hurt less than when I used to force my earrings into the old holes (that sometimes bled when I did that). No blood, and he cleaned the area multiple times and everything. Mark in the front also answered a lot of my questions. Just remember to bring cash, they don't take Amex or Discover. They do take Visa and MasterCard (for piercings at least) but there's also a big sign saying cash only.... I'll update this in 6 weeks or so, once my piercings heal a bit.

I went there a month ago to get an industrial piercing that I had wanted for months but couldn't muster up the courage to get. When I called the shop the lady that answered the phone was so polite and knowledgable that I felt really comfortable going in. The amazing service didn't end there as my piercer (who I believe was named Steve??) was so personable that all of the nerves I had felt for months just melted away. The prices were reasonable and my piercing has almost healed completely with little to no pain throughout the entire process. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get a tattoo or piercing.

Mike M. did my very first tattoo, a chest tattoo for my mother who passed 5 years ago. It was Mary holding up baby Jesus, with her name and both born and rest dates, and it came out great! Very easy to talk to, kept talking and laughing the whole way, and he told me everything I needed to do to help my tat heal perfectly. The vibe in the place is fine, but you definitely need to be there before the doors open because they are first come first serve, and the list fills up fast. I got there at 1:15 PM and had to wait until just before 6 PM because they got slammed with customers. Overall, it was great! Definitely recommend them!

I had to give a 1 star because it won’t let me give a 0. I traveled to Mass to my niece’s graduation and we decided to get matching heart tattoos. It wasn’t going to be anything big, just a tiny heart tattoo. We were there early before they opened and waited. As we walked in we were told there were other appointments and the only person that was available to do our tattoo was a girl named Stephanie. Well, Stephanie took about 30 minutes to set up. When she finally was ready, she started the tattoo and completed it. She put some gloss stuff over it. I was headed back home that same day and so I rushed out of the shop. When I was on the plane and the gloss hard warn off I went to wash it to reapply. I noticed the heart was crooked in shape, the lines were completely off. I was so upset. As soon as I got off the plane I called my niece to ask her how hers looked, and she said hers were crooked as well. I called the shop immediately after that and spoke with Seth, and I explained that Stephanie did a horrible job on both my niece and I’s tattoo. He told me to go back there and that they would fix it. I explained that I don’t live in Mass and that only travel there maybe once a year. Well, he did not show that he cared at all, and asked me what would I like him to do about that? He then said call back tomorrow and speak with my manager Jess. I called back a few days later and spoke with Mike another manager because Jess was not there. I explained the same thing to him again, I was not happy with my tattoo and here is my circumstances. Mike was also did not show any sympathy towards my circumstances. I asked for my money back and he told me he would not be doing that. He also told me that they have people who fly from other countries to get tattoos and fly back to finish them. I told him how do you expect me to pay $250 for a ticket to Mass to fix a tattoo that your person messed up, when I spent $80 on the tattoo! He made no sense. Long story short, I warn you not to go here because if you end up having a problem they will not relate and give you a good customer service experience. It’s the “it is what it is attitude.” If you do go here for a tattoo, don’t let Stephanie touch you! I found out through someone else that she also messed up their tattoo. Oh by the way, my tattoo is fading already.p

I have a tattoo and a piercing from here. My tattoo wasn't that complex, so, I can't really say that I'm amazed. It's been four years, though, and there's minimal fading. I'm sorry, I don't remember my artists name (perhaps Olivia?) She may not even work there anymore. I can tell you she had green eyes. So, if you see her, she's pretty good at white ink. I more recently got a peircing from there, which is perfectly good. So...yep. Thorough review.

Had two good experiences at Pins and Needles in Brockton. Recently went in last minute for something small, shop was excellent at the customization of the symbols I wanted tattooed on me. The placement is perfect. Overall the staff is well educated and gives excellent input and advice on what they think will work too. My first experience and larger tattoo was also very customized by the artist and took about two and a half hours. The tattoo has lasted perfectly for years now. I I will be going back for touch-ups here soon on my 5year old piece that took some sun, but still looks great.

I got my tongue pierced here a few days ago. Apparently they put an externally-threaded double-bedazzled nipple ring in my tongue made of nickel & it got infected. I now have an indent in my tongue from the piercing being too small for my swollen tongue. It also wasn't centered correctly

tattoo artists are great however when it comes to piercings you get what you pay for. jewelry is subpar and one of my piercings was not done straight. another was pierced in the wrong spot. everyone in the shop is so nice and friendly. did not have any issues with the staff at all. however i was just disappointed in my piercings and wouldn’t recommend the shop for that reason.
