I was very impressed. In addition, the shop was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend them.

Fun and chill shop. Very laid back & open minded environment. The staff are all very friendly and make you feel comfortable. I’ve gotten 3 tattoos so far all done by Dom and he is very talented along with the rest of the artists. Inside is extremely clean and they sell dope clothes. They have books, magazines and a huge tv with Xbox & Netflix in the waiting area. Also a social club, so people do stop in to hang out or just say hi!! Good vibes all around!!

Awesome visit to the shop yesterday. I came in with a basic idea and Gina turned it into an amazing reality. Blew my expectations away. Great crew. Spotless studio. Everyone was really welcoming and acted like I'd been there many times. The artists asked each other for advice on styles and techniques which just showed the trust they have in each other. They were really patient with me when I started getting ansty and asked for time outs. Cant wait to go back. Jamison

It was amazing!! I got my septum done there and it was super clean and a overall good vibe, the piercer tried to get me and my cousin (who got a stub piercing) as comfortable as possible, but I just hoped they told me the gauge needle they used to it would be easier to buy jewelry when the time comes.

Went here for the $25 special, was late on the wait list but they still made time. They were all super accommodating and kind, and Presidente carter did an AMAZING tree for me- tons of complicated line work and didn’t take long at all. Would absolutely recommend!

I made an appointment with Gina ahead of coming in - this was my first visit to Ripp'd Canvas. I was happy with the environment. It was super welcoming. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming, and after spending about 4 hours in the shop, I have to say everyone was awesome. I felt like the people who worked there were like a big family, and that was super cool. I also liked how the other artists would come around and compliment Gina on her work, and it seemed like none of the artists suffered from a "rockstar complex." No one was "too good," and it made for a really great experience. As for the work, Gina SSLLAAYYEEDD. Literally, she took my vision and made it better than I could have ever imagined it. I'm beyond happy. So happy. I'm writing this a couple of weeks out from my tattoo date and I am still giddy over it. She did the key/water color, my Useful Human text and did something was told was un-doable - and that was to fix the blown out lettering on my wrist tattoos. You can see the before and afters in the photo I posted. Today, now that they're healed, they look brand new, and the lettering is clear as hell. I'm impressed. I literally was told I couldn't get it fixed, that I'd have blown out black lumps forever unless I wanted to do a cover-up. She proved them wrong. She killed it. And I will 100% be back to Ripp'd Canvas. 100%.

This place was awesome my fiancé and I took advantage of the couples tattoo promotion. It had family friendly atmosphere which I loved. I felt very comfortable. Needless to say we both loved our tattoos. Will definitely be going back again. The staff and owner were very professional and knowledgeable. Prices were reasonable. Definitely check them out.

My husband and I went last night spur of a moment and got our couple tattoos that we have been planning on getting for awhile. As soon as we walked in we felt very welcomed. Every was laid back and did a great job esp our tattoo artist inky. He was very efficient and he did an excellent job. I would highly recommend getting your tattoos here! I have lots of tattoos I want to finish so I will be back

The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic! They make you feel so comfortable. Everyone there is super sweet, funny and they all are great to have a conversation with. The place is so chill even the customers are great to talk to! My tattoos have been amazing everytime I visit. Literally the BEST tattoo shop I've ever been to. 10000/10 definitely recommend.

Though my complaint is directed to the piercer and not the tattoo artist, overall it does reflect very bad service as an establishment nonetheless. So my experience at the ripp'd canvas tattoo shop get a zero stars out of 5 mainly because I've been there TWICE with the same awful service both times. The first time I had to wait about close to 4 hours in the store gof the piercer to show up, and second time I even made an appointment in the morning and then had to wait even longer the second time. Worst part of all IS THAT I SAW THE PIERCER PARK HIS MOTORCYCLE THEN LEAVE!! He never returned, so I just ended up going to another tattoo shop and getting my piercing and tattoo. Overall, I feel like if I'm going to give my money away I'd like to at least feel appreciated. ZERO of 5 stars!!

This is an amazing tattoo shop. The vibe is amazing the team there are awesome. I live in va, but was in Baltimore yesterday. They have the best reviews and I see why. The artist was good and he is the owner... Points to say... You need to set up privacy as a women one should feel comfortable in the establishment solo.. Don't have unnecessary people hanging around this is a place of business not a hang out.. You have to many artist and not that space have a rotating schedule for every one.. You want to make it comfortable for all. I should not share the same space as another group.. It is not professional.. As cute and wonderful as your son is he should not be there at the young age... He threw a ball across the gate .. And almost hit ur arm which could mean a messed up. Tattoo. !!???!?!!?! Not cool.. If the owner grasped important business concepts this place would be the top.... Needs to have a owner mentality and not one as the neighborhood friend.. The work it self was good quality and good work.. OK pricing... I like him... Just needs more polish!!! It is key as an owner..

I have wanted to go here since it opened and I was not disappointed. First, I love that's it's in pigtown because I wanna spend money in my neighborhood. It was only my second ever tat but I knew exactly what I wanted. The atmosphere was chill and made me feel comfortable. The artist we're talented and you can tell the care about the craft. When you go in, you never know who is going to be in there . I love that it seems welcoming to everyone. Music playing was amazing. Actually tattooing was great. The lines on my tat are amazing and honesy I just love it. People in there can do different stuff which is cool. Anyway, just can't say enough positive things! Def coming back for my next one

Great place and staff. Came in from out of town and did a walk in Sunday with my son and met Donovan who was very accommodating and helped get us set up quickly.
