However, after getting my cartilage pierced, i got a very rare and deadly disease called MRSA which basically means that if you don’t die from it, you cannot get any more piercings or tattoos or any holes in your body every again because you will die. I've come here for 3 of my piercings so far, and I've had a great experience each time! Last time I went, Shane pierced my daith, my friend's daith, and my other friend's second lobe hole. He was super professional , and when he saw that my friend getting he daith piercing was nervous, he talked her through it. Needless to say, I made my friends into regulars here too!

I came in to get a simple tattoo on 2/12/16. I've never gotten a tattoo from here before but from start to finish they were very kind. I spoke to John at the front desk and I told him what I wanted which was the word "Faith". I had a picture and was able to send it to him so I could get the exact one. He was very nice and helpful. Shane actually did my tattoo and he was nice as well. Of course it didn't take long and I love it!!! I'm happy with the placement and he gave me some tips on aftercare since it was such a simple tattoo. One of my favorite tattoos I have!! We also talked about a cover up for one of my other tattoos. I'll be back hopefully this weekend to get that done. I'll be sure to ask for Shane!

They're great. I got my septum done there a few weeks ago. I was in and out in 15 minutes. I lost the bead to my septum ring yesterday. Today, I went to get it replaced and they put it on free of charge. Once again, I was in and out in about 5-10 minutes. I'm definitely going back for my next tattoo.

I went in with no appointment other than calling in the morning to see if they were available for a walk in tattoo. I already have 8 tattoos from various shops around Baltimore county/city. The guy Shane who did my tattoo took two pieces of artwork and combined aspects of both to make it perfect. It was a realistic black lines & shading image of a mountain scene. He made some artistic changes to the work that turned out way better than expected. Told me to come back when it heals for any touch ups. I'm very happy with my choice of tattoo and shop! I will definitely go there for another one. Very friendly, quick, and helpful.

I went and got my under eye dermal changed for the first time since having it pierced and the guy didn't even use. Tool to unscrew it, it hurt SO bad, it is SO swollen now. After screaming he then decided to use the tools but was not gentle at all. I should have drove the extra distance to a piercer I trusted!! So upsetting when you out your trust into someone who is supposed to do every job optimal and they let you down and half ass it. My eye wouldn't be swollen if he just used the tools the proper way the first time ugh.

When I got my third lobe and cartilage pierced, I was literally terrified, anxious, and acting like a child- this coming from a 19 year old. It took me about 10 minutes to get pierced because I was so nervous! Big John was sooo patient with me. I think if I got pierced by anyone else, I would have chickened out. But he was great and there was no pain in either piercings.

I went to get nose pierced stretched by John who did a excellent job and also spoke to Jenni about finishing up a tattoo I had on my neck. She was very friendly along with the rest of the staff. She took pictures of my neck and found pictures that will fill the empty spaces on my neck. I ended up leaving a deposit and scheduling an appointment to get the art work done. I called 3 days earlier to see if I can reschedule and Jenni what's great she was able to take me that day. When I went in to get tattoo again the staff was very friendly the atmosphere was great and very clean business. Jenni did an outstanding job on my tattoo I love them. I will be going back to her again and recommending her to all my friends

Shane at Best of Time Tattoos has been tattooing me since 2014. I get one to two tattoos a year. Normally something simple that means something to me. He always takes the time to listen, let me know what would look right or not, and takes his time getting it right and letting me know what he's doing and why he's doing it. He has had to re-stencil me a bunch of times to get the right placement, because I can be picky, and he is always chill about it. The price has always been fair and consistent over the years. This is my shop and look forward to getting more tattoos here over the years.

READ: I went there to get an estimate on a tattoo which I was given easily, though when I asked to see the sizing I could get I was told I had to pay for the tattoo before I could do all that. This genuinely pissed me off because that is about, if not, the stupidest thing I have heard in my life. I have to pay for a tattoo before I can see if I for sure know I want it as you won’t print some fonts for me? Ridiculous. Not to mention I was talked down upon by the guy as if I was a dumbass, and he appeared to be quite shocked after finding out I had tattoos since they weren’t visible as if this were my first rodeo. I won’t be here ever again, one because I was told the dumbest thing I have ever been told in my entire life and two because I was talked down upon, not to mention my mother was talked down upon for asking questions as she was curious, and attempted to try and make me feel like a dumbass. Jokes on you my dude, you won the award for dumbass of the century telling me I HAVE to pay for a tattoo before I can see stencils and fonts. Congrats to you!

About a week later, while rubbing my face, my stud came out and I was incredibly stressed because I couldn't get it back in and I'm completely in love with the piercing!! Accompanied my daughter who was getting her nose pierced. Asked about my pierced ear lobes as they seemed to be closing up. I couldn't get ANY earrings in! Shane asked me some questions, examined the lobes and went to work with a special tool. Before I knew it, he was done and the shiny studs were in! Not only did he give me instructions for taking care of the lobes but said to return if I had trouble putting in new jewelry. The studs he used are way more comfortable to sleep in than the ones placed by the mall piercing store. Will definitely return with a friend to get our second piercings.

The service at the Best of Time Tattoos and Body Piercing is TERRIBLE! If optional I would give them no stars. My boyfriend and I went to Best of Time Tattoos and Body Piercing on January 5, 2016. We got there at 12:20pm because John told my boyfriend to be there at 12:30pm. Upon arriving this heavyset guy greeted us and my boyfriend said he was there to get his tattoo done. The heavyset guy looked confused and my boyfriend proceeded to say that he sent his design through email for John. The manager said "okay let me go take a look at it." He left us outside in the waiting area for 30 minutes before another guy with dreads came out and said "is this the tattoo that you wanted?" He showed my boyfriend the design and the overall drawing of the photo was horrific. My 1 year old cousin could draw better than what the guy with the dreads showed us. My boyfriend was very calm and said yes and the guy said okay what did John tell you the price would be? My boyfriend said 75$ and the dude with the dreads said "OH NO! NOT THIS!" The other guy came out and said "Yeah dude this tattoo is not 75$ off the back we would charge 200$" My boyfriend said okay well you can call John and ask him because that's what he told me. The manager and the other dude said well John will be here in 5 minutes. So, we sat and waited for another 10 minutes. During that duration of time the manager and the guy were both discussing very loudly and rudely how they will not accept 75$ and how this design of the tattoo is way more. Finally, John showed up and came out and acted like he had amnesia. My boyfriend explained further that he came January 4, 2016 and spoke with John and John told him 75$. John said oh well dude I didn't know you meant this and the manager came out and said yeah dude this is again a 200$ tattoo. John then went on to say "oh I can give you a 75$ tattoo if you want." (meaning the tattoo would suck from the way he was saying it) At that point my boyfriend and I were just ready to leave. Being a former manager in retail the customer service and management is very poor. The staff is highly unprofessional. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT BAD TATTOOS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I got my septum pierced by big John and it was a great experience so I wanted to take my boyfriend in to get his ears done, but it wasnt the same guy and it wasn't as great of a time for us. It all seemed really rushed and he had trouble lining them up, but when he put the needle through it was pointing down so the openings of the holes do not match and the jewelry is pointing down. I want to give five stars, but I can't. Very sad that his first piercing is messed up Edit. Big John had us come back in and he repierced his ears and apologized profusely, they are lined up and not pointing down. He is very happy with them now. #AlwaysChooseBigJohn

So, yesterday (11/19/18), after extensive research, I decided to select Best of Time Tattoos and I am extremely happy with my decision! Big John was her piercer and he did a phenomenal job! He was very patient, reassuring and gladly answered all of my questions and my daughter’s. She was a bit nervous and he truly took the time to help calm her fears.
