Went to get a 1” tat on the wrist. Single line, black&white. Tried to charge $100.00. When I suggested it would be better priced at $50-60.00, the guy talked to me like I didn’t know what I was talking about. Positive experiences in the past, but the new guy at the desk is a jerk. Not returning.

i went into hobos and George the owner did my tattoo. i called ahead of time and told him exactly what i wanted (song lyrics) when i got there he told me it was to much for him to do, after begging him to do it he slept half the words wrong or used the wrong form of the word. he was very rude and rough with me. it was my first big tattoo and his attitude towards me made me sick. i would not recommend him to anyone.

no complaints, hobos tattoo shop is amazing, worth driving 5 hrs to get one done. billy is awesome and I am sure of other tattoo artists are so great and unique in there own way... I used to live in Portsmouth and I am so happy I stumbled upon this little gem. Forever grateful for hobos professionalism towards the whole body art culture.

just got both my nipples pierced and she was great! Answered all my questions and after she pierced the second one, which i moved on, i told her i was concerned it was to close to the top of my nipple and she said she will repierce it for free whenever i want! I thought that was great and when i called her today to get it repierced she kept her word and will be repiercing it for free! She also pierced my husbands penis, jacobs ladder,he got 3 piercings and was very professional about it. Definitley will be going back for any other piercings i may get!

These guys are amazing, professional and most importantly very talented. We walked in from out of town with an idea for a small tattoo for my wife. Billy drew it up perfectly and took care of her. He was patient with her and the tat came out better than we imagined. Do it Hobo style in Portsmouth!!

Got a piercing done here back in December the lady didn't even do it didn't t even do it right to begin with and I called and complained and they did nothing for me worst place around don't ever go here always take your business elsewhere

There’s a reason why I continue to go back to Bill for almost 10 years now. The shop is incredibly clean and the artists/employees are extremely professional at what they do. Hobo’s Tattoo is by far, one of the best tattoo shops you could go to in this day and age, no questions asked.

Been getting tattooed for 20 years and never had someone be so rude. Was quoted $70 plus for a quarter size tatto on the side of my neck that has about 4 lines, lol. It’s completely fine if someone doesn’t want to do a tattoo that I present to them, they can have enough respect to just say that. No one enjoys being over quoted just so they’ll walk away.

The piercer never asked if I would ever want a ring so she put it up too high for a ring... The stud itself was also too small, nice piercer and clean

I got a tattoo here 2 years ago.. Fairly large and was very cheap (but..you pay for what you get) its already extremely faded and has turned completely blue. The writing was not straight, letters were messy and i will never get a tattoo here again.

I went to Hobo's yesterday and got my first ever tattoo. I worked with Andrew to create a custom design, and he did an amazing job! Andrew's calm demeanor put me at ease, and he made my first tattoo experience enjoyable and stress-free. It's obvious that Andrew takes a lot of pride in his work, and he is a very talented artist. I highly recommend Hobo's Tattoo and Andrew, and I look forward to my next visit!

They did two feathers on my back. It's raised and bleed into a big mess. People think I have two ballie slippers on my back. It's pretty bad when people can't even tell what it is. They are all such wanna be's. They need to take more lessons or get out of the tattooing business. They are the worst. Don't get tattooed here.

The artist who drew out my tattoo was great. George, the owner, did the work and I will. It be going back. The lines are shaky and the letters are uneven and sloppy. I can't speak for the other artists, but I would not get a tattoo from George ever again.

Jess is amazing! I go to her for all my piercings I haven't had any problems with anything that I've gotten pierced there. I tell all my fiends who are looking for a place to get their piercings done to go see Jess. I wouldn't go anywhere else but to hobos to get my piercings done.
