Found this place by accident and we are so glad we did. The atmosphere is awesome and the artists are all super friendly. They're all crazy talented as well. Would recommend this place for sure!!! We travel 1.5 hours every time we want a new tattoo because this place is that good!!!

Zach is an amazing artist with a tattoo gun in hand. Me and my father both got our first tattoos here and he took the time out if his night to even stay 2 hours after close to finish my father's ink. Be patient and hand him the reigns because you are in safe hands when he is working on you. Don't forget to ask him about the mashed potato bowl, the story alone will have you laughing.

Joshua Floyd did my wrist coverups. Finally proud to have some amazing visible work. He covered a bird on one and an anchor on the other with cameras and magnolias. He's fun and friendly. Incredibly artistic! Terry has done a few piercings for me. Highly recommend him! Answered all my questions. the piercing area is a comfortable setting. And his personality kept it fun and light hearted. Witty banter helped! Customer for life y'all

Zac Brown was a fantastic artist and very friendly, while I feel like there was a social disconnect between my wife and I and him, it might be because we were nervous and we are also not extremely social, but he worked with us on the appointment and did fantastic work and we would love to go back next time we are in town. The other lady that was working there was extremely nice and we would love to give her business as well. If you are in Lake Charles and needing a tattoo, do not dare go anywhere else before you go to atomic heart because they will treat you right and give you a tattoo to last a lifetime

The artist (young guy- can't remember his name) we spoke to wasn't very open to helping inspire ideas on our first ever Tat. We knew we wanted Hibiscus flowers but wanted help with ideas on adding names around the flowers...disappointed

My friend and I were looking to get small matching tattoos on our inner arm while she was in town for the day. We went to Atomic Heart on a Saturday at around 4:30pm and it was empty other than one guy getting tattooed. We walked up to an older lady behind the counter, she didn’t greet us right away, but we told her we didn’t have an appointment. She asked what we wanted done, so we showed her our picture. She looked at it for a second and then quickly said, “Yeah I can’t do that today.” Didn’t try to offer any alternatives. Didn’t really seem to want our business, to be honest. We were both like, “Oh.... okay. Well, thanks” and left. To me, it felt like why even ask to see the picture if you didn’t have the time to do something as simple as we were asking? I can’t say the tattooing was bad or anything, but the customer service aspect is still just as important in my opinion. It’s unfortunate that my friend and I couldn’t get the tattoos we wanted at a shop we were genuinely excited to visit. I hope that no one else has this kind of experience because I think Atomic Heart is better than what we encountered today. ** Edit after response from the owner** Yes I was disappointed that we weren't able to be worked in, but that's not the reason I left the review that I did. I understand that set up and tear down takes time. I understand that you have appointments to consider. What I did not understand, however, is why in my "one minute nine second experience in your shop" you couldn't simply communicate the dismissal of us as walk-ins like you did in your response to my review. You could have said literally anything that you just wrote... but you didn't. My friend and I felt awkward and uncomfortable, so I wrote my review to share this experience with YOU more than anyone else. Even though I was only in your shop for 69 seconds by your account, you should be mindful that a bad impression can be made in less than seven.

Aimee did an amazing job on my first tattoo. She was a polite, professional, and fast worker and made my tattoo experience very enjoyable. When I came in, she was just about to start on someone else, and said she would call me when she was done with her and did not disappoint. Went there & didn't get serviced. There was a lady in the front chair with a client. She didn't greet me or care to know what I needed. There was a guy with glasses, he asked what I wanted seen my drawing but still couldn't help. Smh. I was a tourist and came here. So never again !!!!

This place is awesome! Christy was our artist. She was able to design a beautiful memorial piece in honor of my adopted daughter's mother. She was so patient and answered all my daughter's questions. She took her time in applying the stencil and made sure it was exactly right before starting work. Once she started, she made conversation with both of us and explained the tattoo process. Once she was done, she gave aftercare instructions and provided us with a written copy of them. The place was neat and clean too. I was happy to see a family of girls come in and get matching tattoos. If you call and she sounds grouchy or short with you, please don't get offended, she's probably with a client. She takes her clients and her work seriously, and if she's interrupted, it takes away from them. We drove all the way from Texas to get a tattoo and did not leave disappointed. I would definitely come back again.

I will for sure go back here. Amiee is super cool and this is a very clean environment. I had a small piece done but I will be going here for more of my larger ones as well. I would and will recommend this place to everyone. Price is great as well.
