One of the artists here regularly donates a tattoo to a raffle that helps raise money for a great non-profit. Guess who won said tattoo? I decided to go through with it and had a wonderful experience. At Carter's, you're not paying some money to have a person copy an already done design onto your skin, you're hiring a highly skilled artist that you can trust to turn your idea into the sickest tattoo you've ever seen.

I'm 17 and really wanted to get two very meaningful tattoos while on vacation in Kentucky, but I was extremely nervous to be somewhere I didn't know and getting my very first tattoos. On my way to get it, I stopped and had lunch and the waitress even recommended me to them and her tattoos were gorgeous. Not only was the service amazing from the very first phone call, I felt welcome and immediately calmed down after I got there. It was an amazing price and my tattoos are beautiful. I'm SO happy with them. My mother has the same tattoo and is jealous of the work. Highly recommend!!!

Went here for my very first tattoo. The artist, Atom, sketched exactly what I wanted and was totally cool with my last-minute adjustments. I was really nervous but Atom talked with me the whole time and made the whole experience not just bearable, but fun! I cannot give these guys a better recommendation. Great value, great art, overall it was a great decision.

Wes Carter is truly one of the best tattoo artists in the state and nation. Seriously. If you live anywhere NEAR Bowling Green, KY and are wanting a tattoo - dont go anywhere but Carter's Tattoo Company! There is usually at least a 2-3 month wait if you request Wes - so call for an appointments!

I went to carters to get my very first tattoo in memory of my father, let me tell you Frank (tattoo artist) did an amazing job. He asked what was my price range and showed me what he could do within the price range. He did an AMAZING JOB! He also made sure I was comfortable and felt good throughout the whole process. 10/10 would recommend

Waste of time. If it isn't flash, they can't and won't do it. They are not artists, they just copy stuff that somebody else has designed and they can transfer and trace like kindergarteners.

I got my first tattoo here and I couldn't be happier with it! The artist; Robert; met with me a few days before and asked me what I wanted, how big, where, etc and then a few days later had several ideas that he drew-up himself that encompassed what I wanted. He did an amazing job listening to me and coming up with a tattoo that I absolutely loved! He distracted me during the process and yet made sure the tattoo was going the way I wanted. Overall amazing job, and I can't wait to go back and get my next tattoo here!
