I felt like they really listened to me and wanted to understand what I wanted. I didn't feel hassled or rushed. EXTREMELY satisfied with my high quality, original tattoo and will be back. Rachel is the owner and is very talented.

I did a walk-in for my first tattoo here about 6 months ago. I was freshly 18 and pretty nervous, but Jacob made me feel incredibly comfortable! He was very attentive and kind; I can’t talk highly enough of him. I got a simple, minimalistic design, but it’s very clean and smooth. No problems with it yet! Very very happy with this place. Amy has done great work on my tattoos. My skin didn't take the color too well on the first run. So when it was all healed up, Amy came up with another great idea and she changed the color and filled in the negative space. Her ideas are brilliant and her work is exceptional. Relaxed environment and very customer friendly people. Prices are more than fair.

After waiting 7 hours to get a Friday the 13th tattoo and down to 8 more people in line. We got denied service do to them "just not having enough time". 4 hours into the wait we were told that everyone in the line WILL get tattooed tonight. Biggest waste of time.

My husband passed away recently and his mom, sisters and I wanted to get tattoos to commemorate him. Dalton came in especially for us on his day off to do them for us. It was the first tattoo for two of us and Dalton was very reassuring and friendly, making it a positive experience for all of us. We weren't sure of the exact design we wanted. Dalton sketched several options to be sure we were happy with what we'd be getting and he did a great job!!

Saw on their FB they were running 50% off certain tattoos. So my girlfriend and I decided to check them out. We picked out what we wanted and we were seen pretty fast. We ended up with Adam and he was great! I got my tattoo on my shoulder so I was worried that it was going to hurt, but he has a light touch! My girlfriend got a cover up bullet and both our tattoos look great. Also, kudos to this place for having female tattoo artists!!! I’ve seen maybe 1, tops 2 women working in a shop in any given shop I’ve been too. But this place had 4 women and 3 guys there. So that’s pretty dope.

Got a killer piece done by Heather Menteer. She absolutely crushed the drawing and the tattoo. She's a rad artist and def recommend seeing her if you're after something clean, original and rad you won't be disappointed. ⚡ The parlor is open, clean and comfortable. Staff was solid and they're all about business.

Came to shop at 1pm and we were not seen until 5. Even though we had an appointment tattoo artists still took in multiple walk-ins and made us wait. Artists arguing back and forth with each other and the artist left and only left one tattoo artist alone. Very unsatisfied.

I had an appointment with Amy this past Saturday and I could not be more pleased. This is my fifth tattoo and was by far the best experience to date. I was nervous when I went in for my consult at the end of April, as my art choice was a little off-the-wall. When I explained to Amy that I was looking to get the Tree of Gondor from the Lord of the Rings, she went back to her little studio area to grab a fully illustrated Tolkien book from the '70s her uncle had given her years ago to search for some imagery on it. I knew right away I was in great hands! Amy was finishing up with another client when my husband and I arrived for my appointment on Saturday, so we popped down to the Liberty Memorial to enjoy the amazing weather while we waited. We returned at 3:30 and during my 1 1/2 hour appointment, we chatted and laughed with Amy about various Lord of the Rings things, Sean Bean, Battlestar Galactica, and other tv shows and films. Amy is so sweet and down-to-earth. I felt very comfortable with her. My husband has 3 appointments coming up with Amy this summer and he is very much looking forward to what she designs for him--as am I! As long as Amy is here, I will return to her for every new piece of art I am looking to add. Thank you, Amy!!

Super clean & sterile! 3 of us headed in for a spur of the moment tattoo & we were so lucky to get Dalton. They were very simple minimalist tattoos, but we were nervous and Dalton made us feel secure in our decision and comfortable in the chair. Such a great, talented guy!

Amy is an amazing tattoo artist. I had her do a cover-up of an old tattoo but I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted. She came up with some really good ideas so I booked my appointment. It only took 2 sessions to finish and she not only tattoos like a rock star, but her attention to detail is amazing. When my tattoo was finished she was wiping down my back to get it ready to wrap and noticed a little spot she didn't like so she touched it up. It was a small gesture, but the fact it was so minor and she still took the time to make the tattoo perfect speaks volumes about her skills. I would totally recommend her to anyone looking to get a tattoo.

I've seen Rachel since her days at Grimms. Every single piercing on my body was done by her & I wouldn't see anyone else. She's done my dermals, Tragus twice, Daith and belly. She is so relaxing and puts you at ease! Highly recommended.

WOW. I had such an amazing experience here. I've been to a few parlors around KC and this was hands down one of my favorite places to be. Everyone at Ink Parlor is just so genuinely kind. The place is very clean and well maintained. Adam captured exactly what I wanted my tattoo to come out like. I can't recommend this place enough and will absolutely be returning for my next tattoo.

PSA: you get cellulitis when you don't take care of your tattoo properly and or scratch your scabs off, not from the shop itself (unless if they use dirty needles). Ben Weas did not use dirty needles and changed out his needles right in front of me. The only critique I have is that I noticed none of the tattooers in the shop used clip cord sleeves, but the entire shop was sanitary enough to where they were not needed I guess. Ben did a great job on my traditional Indian girl. I used an old flash piece from my Jonathan Shaw book and he brought my idea to life. Definitely recommend him if you are wanting to anything traditional!

Rachel is the best. I have followed her since she was in Independence. Out of all of my tattoos, she has done 3 cover-ups with one that she pulled up on her phone and drew with a marker on my arm to cover up another tattoo instead of drawing it out. Most people can't do that. She is pretty quick and not heavy handed at all. I have referred quite a few people to her and they loved her work. I won't go anywhere else nor to any one else now that I have her. I now have over 20 tattoos.

The artists I've worked with do great custom work at reasonable prices. I've always made an appointment or done their shop specials, but walk-ins are always welcome. I highly recommend this shop

Great location, awesome staff. It's clean, reputable, trust worthy, and the people are top notch. Rachel is amazing to work with and a phenomenal artist. Everyone there is really friendly and helps to put you at ease. Even as someone who has many, many tattoos, it can be intimidating to walk into a new place and these guys have a super chill vibe. I never feel like I'm being belittled or anything like that. Rachel has done 2 arm pieces for me and both are spectacular. I am constantly getting compliments and having people ask me who/where they are from. You definitely get what you pay for, and thisplace is worth every penny. And the fish tank is pretty bomb. :)

Friday the 13th, Waited from 4:15-10:30 in line we got halfway to the door and after waiting all that time. I finally realized we weren't getting in I went to the front to be told that instead I would be expected to pay 45 for 1 tattoo instead of 20 that the other people got. They gave no information out people were still staying when I left. People were waiting for nothing this was extremely poor planning I knew someone at the front that had been there since 12 P. M and was just now at the front. I would much rather pay full price then ever attempt that again. I understood there would be a wait and so on. But they Barley tattoed 80-100 people because the line defiantly didn't ever move more than 80-100 feet. How can you ever expect people to return to your buisness if you can't even be honest with them. I could have been spending time elsewhere instead I spent it standing on a sidewalk in Kcmo for 7 hours for nothing. This buisness failed to be upfront and have complety lost the money I was going to give them after today. Also I understand its not going to be a speed walk but I'm more upset with they didn't tell people we can't get to you sooner. Extremely poor buisness strategy. Hopfully next year this Tattoo Parlor can take a better approach to this concept.
