They are all very talented, nice and professional. The atmosphere of the shop is awesome! I highly recommend checking this place out!

Googled a tattoo shop nearest to me at the moment. This place was it and it had five stars so went to look..... looking turned into getting lol. Wasn’t sure exactly how I wanted it but the lady at the front desk was super helpful and totally said we could draw it out and put it on and see. So we did and boom!

Awesome place. Got a shoulder tattoo by Casey last week and the process went smoothly from consult to finish. Went in on a Friday for a consult and she was able to fit me in the next day. She was very helpful in the design process, even sending me mocks before the appt and incorporating my vision into her design. The day of we got started on time. She was very precise and efficient. I was in and out in 3 hours (from stencil placement to pics after). Also gave me a very fair price. She was great, will definitely go back for my next one.

Casey was sooo freaking cool!! This place is soo rad inside! So clean! I love the area in KC. The owner did my daughter's cat tattoo and he was so patient with her. He drew it up from three different pics she showed him. Casey knew I was unsure if the font I wanted on my signature "XoXo" so she suggested I just write it myself! It turned out so good! We will be back! Thank you Electric Iron!

They do really great jobs on the tatoos and the wait time wasn't too bad. I enjoyed going here even if I didnt get a tatoo. They are very friendly too. Highly recommend this place! Shop is very nice and got lots of designs to look at. If your looking for a good tattooist go to them! Service was great! Not too expensive either just depends on the size. Also they're creative!

I’ve been going to Avery since I was nineteen so about eight years now. He’s the only person I go to and even when he’s not at the shop if I hit him up he’ll show up. The process is always smooth and he’s very respectful every time. He’s even tattooed my mom. Love the shop and the large window front. ONLY Tattoo shop in Kansas City where you can walk in 6-7pm on a Sunday, and come out with a tattoo!! Most places are closed, close early, or don’t accept walk ins. Just wanted something simple and got it within 30 mins. Price wasn’t too bad, shop minimum is $60 which is reasonable. Thank you! Will be returning soon!

I've been getting tattooed by Jake For years. Down to earth guy that is very humble and has a knack for taking spoken word ideas and creating wonderful artwork. The shop is small but I like the intimacy. Not a ton of people in and out all day so it isn't over crowded with folks looking over his shoulder. If you want solid artwork done by someone with a true passion for art and tattooing Jake is your guy for sure. His American traditional work is definitely some of the best around, if it wasn't I sure as hell wouldn't have let him ink up my whole chest!

I got my first tattoo here yesterday from Avery and it was very well done and just how I designed it. I am very pleased. Even the healing process is going along smoothly. Sometimes you hear horror stories about poorly done tattoos or bad infections. Not at this place! Go see Avery!! Not only will he do an amazing job but is willing to answer any questions you have about the after care process long after you leave the store! Small tattoos can even come colored! I recomend the Electric Iron! Also if you are visiting before 6 pm Monday thru Thursday, go park at the Boost Mobile store.

Not sure if they want business or not. Came here about a week ago there wasn't anyone at the front desk and there wasn't a buzzer or bell to notify anyone. Waited over ten minutes and eventually left. Came today at 12:15pm thinking I might have been a bit harsh but they're closed. Can't really comment on their tattoos or piercings though but I hope they're more welcoming in the future to people that want to do business with them.

I have 2 big tattoos on my body. Me and my friend decided to get tattoos together. It was an awful experience. I think the guys name is Avery. He has a way to heavy hand. The needle should only go in to the 2nd layer of skin, and it was close to a quarter inch in. I will not be returning.

Went in for my first tattoo on a Saturday. Showed an idea of what and where I wanted it. Casey, my tattoo artist said she would take a minute to draw up the sketch. No problem, I'm coming in last minute. Take all the time in world. She lines everything up afterwards to make sure it looks good and goes to work. Long story short, I'm extremely happy with the result. I would definitely go back and get another.

Due to our regular artist not being available, my boyfriend & I walked-in on a Sunday (isn't all that common for a tattoo shop to be open on Sundays, so that was a bonus from the start). We'd been getting less & less happy with "our guy" who normally we would have to wait a couple months for an appt & have had to deal with his ever growing ego over the years. Met with Jake & told him what we were looking to get. He is one of the most laid-back tattoo artists we've ever met. Super cool guy who does great work at more than reasonable prices! My bf was describing a cover-up he wants done & Jake was pretty stoked about the art aspect of the piece being described, not just the money one could make off of it. After seeing his genuine excitement about just the idea, my bf & I decided we would be going back to Jake for our next tattoos. Clean shop & the other employees there all seemed pretty down to earth. Would recommend Electric Iron & Jake to anyone!
