Robbie's a great guy & a great artist! I made an appointment with him after seeing his work on one of my friends who's gone to him for the last 3 years for their tattoos. He has years of experience & worked in Des Moines/Ankeny before opening his one-man-ran shop in Collins. I came in not really knowing what I wanted & he was more than happy to work with me through multiple sketches before I decided on one. He made me feel comfortable making suggestions as we went & made changes accordingly. He's a funny dude, with plenty of stories to tell. My tattoo has healed perfectly. No one knows it's a cover-up unless they remember my tattoo from before. Even then, no one remembers what it was before because they're so impressed with the flawless blending & shading. You'll leave the shop happy with your tattoo & a little wiser than you were before you came in.

5 stars is not enough for Robbie. He did my first tattoo and the one I got today. Through the 4 hours we had great conversation and it was never boring. I cannot recommend this dude enough.

Loved Small Town Tattoo. Robbie is a great guy to know and will always get you laughing. He has drawn some awesome tattoos for me from scratch where I just had some vague pictures of what I wanted done. Always happy with the color and detail, and a really great price.
