After reading all the reviews, I decided to go with New Generation Ink for my second tattoo. I did not make an appointment in advance, I was a walk-in. The artists that work there were very nice and personable people. Johnny was the one who did my tattoo and man, he does great work. I would very much recommend this place to any and everyone.

Went in to get my first tattoo and I was very nervous. But after my consultation my nerves were pretty much gone. On the day of my tattoo, everyone was really nice and Billy really made me feel calm. This is the place you want to go to get your tattoos done right and look great!

Billy is an amazing tattoo artist! He made sure that the tattoo I wanted was placed right, and the right size. He answered all of my questions, and made sure I was comfortable. My tattoo is perfect, there's no flaws whatsoever! I highly recommend, he offers cash app, pay pal, Venmo, etc. which is very handy. Also when I showed him the picture of the tattoo I wanted, he said it was super uneven and that he'd redraw it for me to make sure that it wasn't crooked. He was great, I highly recommend going to him!

DO NOT even attempt to book with Jess, @jlou_tattoo on Instagram. She’s extremely unprofessional, despite her decent work. She takes forever to respond to inquiries— if at all. After scheduling my appointment, I simply tried to schedule a consultation, and she NEVER got back to me. She claims to have come back from maternity leave, but is clearly not mentally ready to be working yet. Don’t waste your time.

I’ve been working with Chappie for about 9 months now. He does amazing line work, shading, and always makes the experience memorable. He uses lighthearted banter and lets you choose what music or show you’d like to watch or listen to while he tattoos you. He’s very dedicated to making sure that you are in love with the tattoo before he even puts the stencil on, then makes sure the positioning is what you want. I plan on working with Chappie for as long as he’s willing to put up with me. Everyone else at the shop is very welcoming and talented as well. You honestly couldn’t go wrong by giving your business to the amazing people at New Generation Ink.

Workers were super chill and ok with walk ins, we told the guy what we wanted, didn’t show any pics or anything and they drew up the images better than we could imagine. Chase did my piece for only $60 and it was $150 quality tat, I definitely recommend chase when you come, great guy and extremely talented artist. Will be back.

Luke is amazing. My sister and I went in for first-time tattoos of our grandmother's handwriting (a very personal and emotional experience for us) and Luke took a great deal of time and care in transposing her handwriting onto the transfer paper so that the tattoos look exactly as if she had written them herself. The work is so detailed, delicate and clean. He was chill, kind and we got to watch The Office while he worked! Would absolutely go back to him in a heartbeat.

Billy was amazing! He really takes pride in his work, so you can be sure that you're going to have an amazing tattoo when it's all done! My husband and I went to him for soundwave tattoos which involved a lot of fine line work. We had spoken with a few other artists who were less than helpful, so meeting Billy was such a relief! We first spoke with him in the salon and then scheduled the date. While getting the tattoos (after making sure they looked just how we wanted them to), Billy was so fun and friendly to chat with! Prices were very fair. Obviously would highly recommend!

OMG New Generation Ink (tattoo) is a definitely place to get your tattoos. My husband had his couples small tattoos done before but not impressed too much. After we found out about New Generation Ink by Billy, he is nice , patience, great artist and specially have done an awesome job on tattoos. After a short period of time coming to this place, my husband’s upper body almost cover with big tattoos. He is so happy with the tattoos. Tattoo is a permanent body arts and might follow you with your life, so New Generation Ink is a place to trust. G slaaaaayed a really fine script on the arch of my foot and some script down my spine. Super fun to work with and excellent work. He is always busy, but that because hes amazing. I’ve been coming to New Generation Ink for three years and it’s truly the best shop I’ve ever been to. The shop itself is incredibly clean and chill which makes you feel comfortable from start to finish. I have been tattooed by Billy and Chappie. Billy is great. He is very professional and so detail oriented. He takes his time doing exactly what you’ve asked for and will work with you to make sure your vision comes to life. Chappie did my sleeve and everywhere I go, I get complements on it. We spent 18 hours over two days finishing it and it was worth every second. A year later, I could not be more pleased. I will never go to another shop. The entire staff is great. It’s affordable and the work is of the highest quality. Best shop in Indy and the Midwest.

I went here recently to get a script tattoo and the work I had done was amazing. All the people that see the result think so as well! The staff was super friendly and the price for the work was right in line with the quality. All of the artists use amazing color in their work and the detail is on point.
