I've been here several times for tattoos and piercings. Until my last visit I have been very happy. Do not let them push you to use a different artist. I always used Dan but the last time they didn't even ask me who I want to use they just had me talk to a different guy. I gave him 3 different ideas and really didn't get any feed back other then the vibe he didn't really want to do 2 of them. We went over it looking realistic and in black and white and the cost. I specifically said I do not like color. First session went great other then the fact there was color. It wasn't bold and my family convinced me it looked fine even through it wasn't what I wanted. I paid the amount I was quoted for the tattoo and was told that I was paid in full. Second session came and I waited an hour after my scheduled appointment before I was seen and was told by the artist that he was already zoning out. Not what you want to here before someone is sticking a needle in you. I went ahead and let him finish the color since it was already there. There was so much color. I thought it would tone down once I healed but it just keeps looking more and more cartoonish when it was suppose to be realistic. On top of that I was told I owed another $230 dollars. After going back and forth I ended up paying another $125. Now I will be paying to have it removed since I hate how it looks (it would look good for other people but it wasn't what i wanted). Bottom line is fight for the artist you want. When you get a quote for a tattoo make sure it is for the full thing and not just a session. Most importantly, go over multiple times what you are excepting your tattoo to look like.

I have had two tattoos done by Kyle Wardlow. One small one on my wrist and a very large piece of his own design on my ribs. Both of the healed up rather quickly with little to no scabbing or scarring issues. He worked with me on both of them and was very professional and timely. I would highly recommend him to anyone and often do. He is a great artist and am always thinking of my next piece.

I had a tattoo done on my back there a few years ago while in town visiting family. I brought my own artwork, and was very specific on what I wanted. The artist tattooed the lettering BACKWARDS. It was a foreign language and he assumed I had it wrong. Now I have jibberish. DON'T GO THERE!!!

Got a tattoo here awhile back and have just noticed so many things wrong with it as time has gone on and it’s healed. The tattoo itself is not on my thigh straight, it’s tilted one way. The lines are so uneven, they are spotting, and they don’t match on each side of certain letters. The artist was very rushed and didn’t seem to care he was placing something on my body for the rest of my life. Very disappointed in this parlor. Searching for a coverup of the tattoo I got at this place.

I had a tattoo done the last week of February. It is a SIMPLE infinity sign with the word "twins" on one side.I had it done on the inside of my wrist. I had the tattoo touched up the last week of March as the ink hadn't filled in the middle. A month later I was still unhappy with the tattoo since the middle line was still raised and there were blurry edges. I went back to the shop to discuss my concerns. I was told that there was nothing abnormal about the tattoo and it looked this way because of how recently it was done. (I have other tattoos that never took this long to heal.) I pointed out my specific concerns with the flaws in the design. I felt like I was dismissed and the artist had no empathy for how I felt and just said "thanks" and walked off. . I have recently been to two other reputable shops. Both have said that I have been permanently scarred. I am sorry I went to Lucky Rabbit and would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Very nice friendly experience. I went in for a tattoo and so far it's healing wonderfully. The coloring I wanted is turning out great and my artist had no issue with the design I brought in and even helped me with finding a placement that worked well for the design and color fill. This is a place I would go back to for more work if I ever decide to get more, for now I'll just recommend!

I have been getting my tattoos at Lucky Rabbit since 2004. I had an appointment last Saturday with Adam(Atom?!) for the first time and I am beyond impressed! I gave him some very random ideas and he brought it all together perfectly. I can't believe how much he did in our 5 hour session! They were all upfront about the pricing and time estimates. Deposits and appointmsnt expectations and policies were explained in detail by Chrissy. Honestly was nervous about a new artist and the prices for him but it was worth every penny and then some! My new tat is 5 days old now and has barely had any peeling. I usually scab up pretty good. They must be using magic ink now

They are super knowledgable about piercings, and helped me when my nose piercing just wouldn't heal. I was interested in buying a piece of jewelry that wasn't right for my piercing...rather than sell it to me anyway (which many shops would do) they explained it all to me and led me towards a piece that was right. They have the highest quality jewelry that I've seen at any piercer in Muncie!

Lucky Rabbit is BY FAR the BEST tattoo/piercing shop I've ever been in. (I have 6 tattoos therefore I've been in my fair share) I live in Anderson and I can honestly say all the shops I "investigated" for my 14 yo daughter SuVannah, to get an industrial piercing. I found Lucky Rabbit and when her and I went in the staff were AMAZING at making you feel right at home. I had many questions and not once did they make me feel stupid! Josh, the one that done her piercing & he done phenomenal at explaining what she should expect. I've NEVER been to a more cleaner place... they impressed me as a Momma ...SO much, that I now ONLY trust Josh, to pierce my kiddo. She recently got her lip pierced (labret) and we got there 12/27/17 at 7pm (they closed at 8pm that night) but me ... having brain cancer (chemo brain) totally spaced grabbing her birth certificate. I thought I could get home and back before 8pm but on our way I noticed my navigator said we would arrive at 8:05pm. So, I called Josh and told him we could just make an appointment because I wouldn't get there until after 8pm. This man told me he would wait ...since he knew what jewelry she wanted, he would just get everything sanitized and ready. He had already truly impressed me ....but THAT made me realize not only does he love his job BUT he is willing to go beyond what's expected for his customers. SuVannah, like her momma now ONLY trusts Josh @ Lucky Rabbit to do any of her piercings (she's now wanting a few more lol) BUT that's not it .... I have stage 3 brain cancer and you've got to be 16yo with both parental consent to get a tattoo. I'm already living on borrowed time therefore I emailed Lucky Rabbit about how I want my daughters 1st tattoo ... to be with me but I'm scared I won't make it until she's 16. I want her to have something she can always look back on. I KNEW they wouldn't be able to tattoo her seeing that she was 14 and they follow the law/rules to the T but I figured it was worth a shot. I got a reply from the owner of Lucky Rabbit.... Daniel. Instead of just turning us away .... he offered something else. He offered for my daughter and I to come in for a consult and have him help us create a special tattoo ... so IF I don't make it to her 16th birthday ... she can still get the tattoo that her momma helped design. Therefore, carrying a piece of me around. There aren't enough stars to rate this place .... if you choose to go anywhere else, welp to be blunt ... you're stupid! This is now ... the only shop that will have my business and my daughters future business! I can bet you .... if you were to go in, you'd be treated the exact same because those people and their talents are AMAZING!!! 1 out of 10 .... Daniel ... Josh ... y'all get an 11!!!! God Bless! I'm very surprised to see other reviews stating staff is rude. Each time I have been in the shop there have been different workers there and they all have been fantastic. My husband and I went about 5 months ago to get his ears pierced and yes, it was a little more pricey, but we knew that going in and specifically chose Lucky Rabbit because of their good reputation. Multiple family members and friends have gotten tattoos there that have all been vibrant and gorgeous. My husband's piercings look great and we love his earrings, they are perfect for him. I recently went in for a consultation on a tattoo and gave the artist some ideas that I wanted. He was great and took the time to explain to me what can work and what might not because he wants me to have a quality piece of art. I want what's best because I will be wearing this the rest of my life and am so happy he was honest with me and shared some ideas and explained some of the process to me. I cannot wait to see the sketch and get my tattoo done. I will be writing another review when I get it.

I absolutely hate to write bad reviews but I felt obligated to warn future customers considering going here for piercings. Long story short, do not go here...I highly recommend Black Sword Alliance on Mcgalliard across the street from Starbucks. Jay Williams is an amazing piercer at Black Sword. Now heres the long story if you feel like reading: So I am not sure the piercers name at Lucky Rabbit but he has a Diamond Tattoo on his right cheek. I would like to first go on record and say that he has an extremely nice personality; unfortunately this does not help the pain I went through. I got my rook pierced at Black Sword and had a great experience, however I thought they closed up shop for good (come to find out they changed locations) so I went to Lucky Rabbit to get my piercing changed out. They charged me $60 for a piercing that would soon give me Hell. So anyways, I thought this would be a painless procedure, I thought wrong. The piercer at Lucky Rabbit put me through 30 minutes of what felt like someone shoving a square piece into a circle piece. I bled like a son of a gun; I understand its normal to bleed some but this was excessive. I left extremely upset and physically hurt when I left Lucky Rabbit. My piercing never healed correctly, always hurt to touch, and was always swollen and red. When I saw that Black Sword Alliance had relocated, I went in to see Jay Williams immediately. He took a look at me and told me first, the guy at Lucky Rabbit put a tragus piece into my rook which is entirely to tiny to go there. Also, the gage of the tragus piece he put in my rook was to big of a gauge. Jay fixed me up: not only was this experience pain free, but it was also three times cheaper! I hope readers take my advice and save yourself a lot of pain and money and just go to Black Sword Alliance when it comes to piercings.

I only saw unhappy customers when they didn't specify what they wanted. Or if they didn't go to Dan . My experience with tattoo shops have been the WORST . Got my tongue pierced when I turned 18 .Was super excited because it was my first actual piercing besides my ears. Well they completely messed my piercing up. It was crooked and gave me headaches all the time . I've been afraid to let anybody touch my body since then. I was super excited to get a piercing and a tattoo when I turned 18 but I'm already 19 and still can't trust anyone

More than three years ago, I got a tattoo at the lucky rabbit. It was less than the size of a nickel. I paid 80 dollars. The tatttoo is raised and healed unnaturally. With research I’ve done, I’ve learned this doesn’t happen with a tattoo normally. This happens when a tattoo artist pushes the needle in too far and damages layers of your skin that shouldn’t be reached during a tattoo. My body is permanently destroyed. Even if I had tattoo removal, I would have raised skin. I am devasted. Spend you’re money elsewhere please.

DO NOT GO HERE! The staff are extremely rude and the prices far exceed the quality of work offered. I wanted a simple tattoo on my wrist, looked through the portfolios, and thought maybe Kyle would be my guy. He expressed very little interest in my design and almost acted like it was a dumb idea but wanted $120 FOR A LITTLE TATTOO! Went to Black Sword Alliance down the road...should've went there first! Very nice people, much stronger portfolios, and a way better vibe overall. I ended up getting tattooed by Joshua who was happy to work on my design and did a stellar job for a very reasonable price. Hands down would not go anywhere in Muncie but Black Sword Alliance.

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had and it was all in about Eight minutes. My husband and I were greeted. He already has 3 tattoos But told the artist that he wanted one on the back of his arm with a quote inside ripped skin. The artist said he didn’t know what that was. While my husband pulled up a picture of the quote to show him, I started to explain what the ripped skin was and the artist said well I know what a skin rip is but I don’t know what a ripped skin is. Ok, so we’re not in preschool and And whether it’s ripped skin or a skin rip I think we both know that we’re talking about the same thing. The reason that we came is because we Expected a reputable business with knowledgeable artist who could help us Decide if the picture we had was a good final design or maybe they can tweak it. An artist who could do a good job for us. What we got was someone with an attitude who was maybe too busy ( Remember we were there eight minutes) Was not professional whatsoever! We are some of the nicest people you could meet and had he cared at all he would’ve found that out and that we certainly didn’t wanna take up any more time then was absolutely necessary. I don’t care how good of an artist you are if you can’t be nice to your customers You’re gonna lose business!
