My brother and I did a lot of research and searching before agreeing to get our first tattoo with Junior at Altered Image. We are both extremely happy with the tattoo. Easy going and great atmosphere. I never felt out of place or not welcome. Junior is very knowledgeable and talented. The awards on the wall of his room prove that and helped to build my confidence in his abilities to do exactly what I wanted. I would recommend Altered Image in a heartbeat

Let me start by saying I’ve had my full chest done, working on a 3/4 sleeve and sitting here while Junior works on my back piece writing this. The work done by all the artists here is phenomenal and over the course of the years I’ve become friends with the owner, Junior, and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’ve recommended everyone I know to him, and most have gotten work done by him and also refuse to go anywhere else now. Everyone is laid back, easy to talk to, and incredibly helpful in the design process for any tattoo that you might be wanting! If you’re looking for a place, definitely come here and you’ll never regret the work.

The front window says (and has always said) "Piercings starting at $25", but when I stopped in they said they didn't have a piercer. The hours posted on the window say that they open at noon Monday through Saturday, but I've been by at noon a couple of times and they weren't open. I haven't had any services performed here, and I'm not going to.

One of the best realism artists in Indianapolis tattoos here. Crystal Brainerd. Each artist has their own style to meet any style desire. Friendly and comfortable lobby with private tattoo rooms decorated and personalized by each artist. Cool place. Amazing work. I wont go anywhere else.

Super bad , over priced i had a tattoo cost me $400 while at other place it was only $150 !! , and whn i talked to the artist about the price difference he laughed and told me good luck ?!!! even though the tattoo is not that perfect ..., go any place else rather than that place

I got a dragon tattoo done on my chest by Junior a little over a year ago, it was my first tattoo and let me tell you, I am incredibly happy with it and Junior's service. He is an awesome guy to talk with and his tattoos are simply amazing, worth every penny spent! The tattoo healed up very well and has kept its vibrant color to this day! Again, Junior is amazing at what he does and I'm happy to have a tattoo done by him!!

I made an appointment with Junior (Owner) 3 months in advance. When it came to the appointment day, I was told that someone else would be doing my tattoo since he was not there that day. I was then told that if I didn't want a session with the new artist, that I would have to wait until January 2013 to get another session with Junior. They obviously don't care, I'll go elsewhere.

I've gotten both my nose and my tongue pierced here. Matt does an amazing job and is always super sweet. Going back this Friday for another one. Also very reasonable pricing. I called around and when they only charge $30 for a tragus piercing others charge $35 plus jewelry. How ridiculous?! Thanks for being awesome guys.

Great place to go and be made feel very comfortable. My butterfly is gorgeous and sis's matching one is too. Both are put to shame however by the work our artist did on my daughter's calf. I will be going back for my next work.

I was able to schedule an appointment with Tyler for Monday and my husband got in with Jr, talented award winning artist, they were very polite and made us feel like our business was wanted. Update: went in yesterday for 2nd session with Tyler, he was so light handed with the coloring it was great, I took my 16yr old with me and he made her feel very comfortable and invited her to watch the process wich we both enjoyed, thanx for that

Absolutely amazing place. Great staff, great atmosphere, clean and professional. Crystal is beyond amazing. Came in looking for a new tattoo artist to rework an Epilepsy Awareness. After first session I was in tears of joy over how amazing her work is. The other artists in the shop also do amazing work. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a tattoo.
