Brian McCormic is the best tattoo artist in Springfield. His artistry is second to none. I give him my tattoo idea and he turns it in to something amazing. I have been getting tattooed by Brian for over 10 years. I was so happy to hear that he moved back and opened his own shop. The attention and care that he gives to each and every client is fantastic. If you want a tattoo that looks and feels like it was licked on by baby unicorns, do yourself a favor and go to Redbird.

I highly recommend Brian, owner of Redbird Electric, to anyone who is looking for a new tattoo. It's rare that you find a humble tattoo shop that is so clean, comfortable and void of all the unnecessary frills of those modern "rock star" shops and just lets their tattoos and extraordinary customer service do the talking. So, if you've been thinking about getting a new piece, or maybe fixing an old one, get in to see Brian! I described to him what I was wanting and the price range I wanted to stick to, and he exceeded my expectations! I drove an hour and a half to get there, and it was more than worth it! I walked away with an awesome piece, and they earned a new, loyal customer!

I had a wonderful experience. My brother and I were visiting our mom from out of town. She was having surgery, and we wanted to surprise her with matching “Mom Heart” tattoos. Jesse had room between appointments and was able to fit us in. He was really cool about it too, and he made the experience a lot of fun. You should only get tattoos from a quality artist who knows what they are doing. That is certainly what you will find here. Very professional, very hygienic, excellent artists, and really nice people.

Ernie is dope. Everyone in the shop is cool, making the whole experience nice. Doesn’t really matter who you go to, they’re all great but they do specialize in different things and will point to which of them does what the best. During your tattoo they talk to you making the process go faster than it normally does. The shop itself is probably the best looking shop in Springfield.

I've been to Redbird on multiple occasions, and every time I am there the artists are inviting and humorous. I get my work done by Brian, but Jesse is also a remarkable artist. Both have a compelling profile of work and I trust Brian 100% behind the needle. The environment is relaxed and not one of those tattoo parlors where the artists constantly have an ego. I recommend you check this place out and research Brian and Jesse's work because they produce some of the best tattoos in the area.

I may be a bit biased but this is the only place in town that I trust to put tattoos on me. Jesse is fabulous. He has done most of my work and has put anything I got prior to finding him to shame. I am always indecisive and he's always there to give his opinion on what would look best and where. I have a couple from Brian as well and he is incredibly patient. These guys are absolutely great, from the owner (Brian), to the trainees! My wife and I got our first tattoos there, and we are already coming up to having 5 in total from here. The prices are absolutely reasonable for what you are getting. All of the artists will be up front with the work you are wanting and they definitely take pride in their work since their name will be attached to that piece. Redbird electric is extremely clean in the work they do and the equipment that they use. I would easily recommend this as a place to go get your 1st, or 50th tattoo.

To top it off I had complicated ideas about a design and Brian went above and beyond to help talk me through and draw (and re-draw!) design ideas for me! It is everything I could have hoped for and I am in love with the final product! The other guys on staff were nice, friendly, & easy to talk to. Everyone kept the place and equipment extremely clean. I just got my first tattoo of my life tonight at 38 y/o. It was an amazing experience. I got a simple heart rhythm of my daughter but Brian made this first timer feel like it was a huge deal. I'm sure this type of tattoo is nothing for him. The tattoo turned out amazing looking and the placement is way better than I first wanted. Brian suggested moving the tattoo a little forward on my left side. And he was totally correct. It couldn't be better. Thank you Brian for making a first timer with a simple tattoo feel special about it.

These guys are great! They are very helpful and knowledgeable and they are willing to work with you. I live in Texas and was in Springfield on vacation with plans to get a tattoo with my two brothers. I had emailed Brian, the shop owner a week in advance pictures and ideas of what we were hoping to get and we discussed sizing, placement and price and I have to say that he and his staff were very friendly and accommodating. The sibling tattoo idea initially fell apart due to my brothers schedules but I still got a tattoo of my own and they did a fantastic job! Next time I go to visit my brothers we're DEFINITELY going to go back. Also their shop is very clean and is set up very nicely. A+ job guys!

I requested a last minute alteration of my tattoo and he obliged without hesitation. Brian's co-workers were also very professional and polite. They can do flash but their talents lie in creating and tattooing what their clients want, how they want it, with creative input from the artists.
