Brought my 9yr old daughter in to get her ears pierced. Did not want to go the Clair's or Piercing Pagoda, it is very traumatic & painful at those locations. I apologize for not remembering their names, but the lady at the desk & the gentleman that did the piercing....thank you so very much for making this such a calm, pain free, experience for my daughter. She was extremely nervous but they did everything to make this lifelong experience truly precious, amazing, & pain free. I will definitely recommend this very clean, very friendly establishment to all!

They were amazing!!!!! Scott was just down right awesome!!!!! He walked me through what was going to happen and what he was going to do. He was super helpful with explaing the after care steps. He was super supportive as well. which made me feel better about the whole experience since I was freaking out. Just the staff in general were just super kind and passionate about what they do. You could tell they really care about their customers and getting the job done right and the best they can. Scott and the other staff I have gotten services from are very knowledgeable in their profession and really take pride in their work. Overall Purple Monkey is a kickass place to get piercings or tattoos done!!!!!

The nicest tattoo place I have ever been to! Great customer service, friendly environment, and it has a very clean and welcoming feel to it. I took my daughter to get her ears pierced, and Scott did a great job with her. Not just the piercing itself, but also keeping her calm (she is 7) and making it a fun experience. He put on a tail and unicorn horn and tried to keep her smiling and distracted, since she was a little nervous. Overall a wonderful place. I'll definitely be coming back here

My husband brought my 7 yr old daughter there for her ear piercings. He said the guy doing her ears was very careful and took his time with what he was doing. He even went as far as being so awesome for her that he wore a unicorn horn and tale to make her feel more comfortable. Yet, she already was! She thought the place was so cool!! Hubby plans on getting his third tattoo here now! Thank you Purple Monkey!!

I got a rib cage tattoo done. It was a medium sized piece. And my first piece in such a sensitive area. I'm also quite modest so getting one in that area was a huge deal to me. Sammi not only went above and beyond designing a beautiful work of art, but she also made me feel welcome and comfortable and from start to finish it was my best ever tattoo experience. Purple monkey is by far my favorite tattoo shop! Everyone is always so nice and I always feel welcome. This is the cleanest and most comfortable place to get a tattoo within a 30-mile radius. The entire staff is outstanding and friendly. I have to recommend "Doc", although I assume all the artists here are the best of the best.Doc is a 30-year artist and performs miracles when it comes to ink. It's a big decision to get a tattoo and an even bigger decision as to where to get it done. I am a local guide and for the first time of reviewing businesses in an honest and true manner, I would give them 10 stars if I could. Heed my advice and do to Purple Monkey! You will not be disappointed. Ask for Doc!

Careful of this place. After my initial inquiry asking and showing them what I was looking to have done, several of the staff reaching out to me and them sending me design ideas. I called to set up my appointment and was turned down by a rude man telling me what I wanted was a waste of their time and they wouldn't do it. ??? Why waste of my time if you weren't ok doing my tattoo? Guess I should assume they're just not capable.

I cannot express how much disappointment I have for the way the staff at Purple Monkey Tattoo has conducted themselves. I work for a non profit organization that helps children and families. Every Christmas we try to find sponsors to help buy gifts for the children in our program. This year I wanted to contact local businesses to help our local families. The first week of November I talked to Purple Monkey Tattoo and asked if they wanted to sponsor any children. At this time the owner, Erik, agreed to sponsor three children. Within a week I returned with the paperwork and gift tags for these three children. The paperwork indicated that I would need to pick up the presents by November 29th so that I could deliver them to the families before the holiday. On the 29th I called and spoke to Jake who told me that I needed to call back another time and talk to Erik. When I called back and talked to Erik he told me I needed to call back and talk to Jake and so this continues for eight phone calls back and forth between the two of them. To this very day I am still getting the same run around with no hope that they are honoring their commitment to help these three children this holiday. It is very clear that Purple Monkey Tattoo doesn't have any regard for the children in the community or how their actions have impacted innocent families. As a member of the community and an advocate for the families in my program I know for certain I will take all of my tattoo business elsewhere and will make sure all of my friends, family and colleagues do also.

Great place. Got my nose pierced by Scot, super fast and very clean... then had an issue a few months later that on my first day of a new job my piercing had to be out and I didnt try to take it out untill 20 minutes before having to be there. I called the shop and told them I couldn't get it out and explained the situation. I sped there and the guy took it out real quick. So, I recommend this place definitely!

This place is top notch. Clean, organized, professional, and the staff is so friendly the second you walk in the door. I drove an hour to have my 7 year old daughter's ears pierced here. So worth it. Scott was very nice, wore his famous unicorn headband, played a kids movie, and had perfect placement. I am so happy. I also love that he will only use titanium earrings, which prevent irritation and infection. I am a nurse so when I called ahead , you had me at titanium earrings (along with the great reviews). Miss Kylie loves her sparkly ears. Thank you so much!!

He was very nice and very professional. Scott even stayed a little later to make my birthday experience awesome.. Sam, is new to the purple monkey . Sam had done an awesome tattoo of a lotus and semicolon on my girlfriend and also did two written tattoos on my arm. She took her time to make sure that my tattoo was straight on my forearms. Best place around for a tattoo, very affordable and the owner Eric is one of the nicest guys you'll ever work with. He really cares about your tattoo as much as you do and they are much less expensive then any other shop in the area (I've been to most) what you'd pay 450 at another shop you'll pay 200 here with the same if not better quality which they stand behind. Eric, the owner, is very skilled and a pretty cool dude. He got my very large somoan tattoo done in about 8 hours, costing $750. The place is very clean and well air conditioned. Eric tends to be about 15 minutes late, but it's not his fault, he is taking care of animal shelter dogs and one is so old it can't hear him calling, so he has to search the pasture.
