The end result was far better than I initially intended. Great clean shop. And if leslie represents anything about the rest of the staff its definitely worth a try.

Gave this place multiple opportunities. Had 3 tattoos done here and I regret 2 of them. Only reason I don't regret the 3rd one is because it is my wedding "ring". We asked for them to look identical...got it done at the same time. We realize in the end that they were different sizes (gauges). The owner, Kevin, is completely full of himself and his work. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere actually decent. You pay for what you get. On the other hand they do have good artists there. Just the owner, Kevin, in general is unprofessional.

So I sent a message to this shop of the tattoo I wanted on my ankle. The person I went to before was booked, but they told me to come in because they would fit me in. So when I get there, no one asks me any questions as to why I’m there, I had to go up to someone. When I asked one of the tattoo artist if they are still able to fit me in, they said they couldn’t but they would try. When I asked for the tattoo on my ankle, which was not big, the tattoo artist said she would charge me 250. It was an ankle bracelet with a feather. That much for a small tattoo? They’re beat. Then the owner of the store started talking about how ankle tattoos normally fade and that I should get something with meaning. I never asked for a life lesson or an opinion from this man, but he gave it to me. Then he said, “I’m not worried about the money, I’m worried that you’re only getting it because you think it’s pretty” sir. I don’t care I just want my tattoo. Why are you charging me that much for a tat that small? Moral of the story, don’t come to this store. They’re goofy. They’re only nice to their loyal customers. So I have to add on to this because he responded. I never said you didn’t help me. I said it took me coming up to that lady for someone to actually talk to me. I even approached you first, so have fun uploading a meaningless video. My thing is, I texted the shop on Sunday. And Nestor on Saturday. Nestor was going to be busy. But when I texted the shop you guys still told me to come in because you would fit me in. I can send you the screenshots so you can add that to your little video. THANK GOD FOR CAMERAS IS RIGHT! Because it’s gonna show me approaching y’all. Like I said. Sorry that you’re hurt over my comment but I don’t want someone to get sent off like I did. Yes everyone was tattooing but don’t text me you’re gonna fit me in when you were about to leave Nestor was busy and the woman tattoo artist was overcharging. She seemed like she had an attitude with me. Upload that part too. As soon as my friend was done getting her tat, you asked the woman tattoo artist to do my tat even after you showed me the patterns. So you were not gonna do it. I was hurt that this didn’t work out like I wanted it to. I never waned advice, the only opinion I asked of you was what you thought of the patterns. Not “should I get this?” I will go on with my life and do great things. I hope this review affects none of your business that you get. I just think it should be known that I was sent off. Enjoy uploading your vid. I would’ve never responded but I have to defend myself. You know what’s the craziest thing though? You’ve made and agesit comment against me and a sexist comment. Yes I’m young but I am capable of making decisions. Yes I am a woman, but I don’t get things because they’re pretty. I didn’t explain this to you, but I’ve always wanted an ankle tattoo because I would always wear bracelets on my ankle when I was younger and I would lose them. If I got a tat, I can’t lose it. I did not explain this at the store and I apologize.

I found my number tattoo shop in Chicago! It's hard to find that.. My first place was chi town tattoo shop and it was ok until I kept going back and they would raise the price higher and higher.. Almost the opposite I get charged more for returning. Not to long ago I stopped by a tattoo shop near my home in Rogers park and felt welcomed and speaking to the manager we came to an agreement on prices which was awesome! Most artist are firm with a high price but the owner Kevin came to a healthy conclusion getting my ink done for a steal price! Obviously if you want something bigger and detailed price varies but at the end of the day It felt giving up my hard earned cash and getting some great ink in returned. I no longer need to go to another artist after finding mind crusher. Close to home and great deals everyday. I'm a artist myself so I appreciate the honesty and price points. I tell all my friends who are looking for ink! Great staff and great art. I'm going back soon to finish my leg pieces and excited

Nestor was with a customer, but when he was able to take a break he gave me his undivided attention and help. I ended up eventually coming in for a consultation and setting up an appointment later. At the appointment, Nestor was very helpful with giving me all of the details about what to expect before and after. He was great at communicating with me and answering my newbie questions through texts before and after the appointment as well. He was professional with handling changes I requested to my design. I don't even know where to start with this review to make you understand why I will always come back here. I got my first tattoo yesterday by Kevin, who owns the shop. For my first tattoo I wanted something big and beautiful, and I knew I was going to do that. A lot of other shops turned my idea down because they thought I couldn't handle it. One of the great things about Kevin is that he believed in me and he kept encouraging me they this was going to be awesome and that he KNEW I could do it. I was honestly a little skeptical that he was going to give me this amazing first tattoo with the price he was asking for. But he really is a man of his words. Throughout the time we were together he offered me countless drinks and treats, and that was very appreciated since I have such a sweet tooth. Not only was Kevin a great and welcoming artist so we're his coworkers Luke, Rick, and Jon. They all were great company and made me feel very comfortable. The crazy part of the day for me was when I was waiting for the bus after the tattoo and Kevin offered me a ride home. Truly a gentleman! I will continue coming here and telling everyone about my great experience. I can't thank you guys enough!

3 weeks ago i want to get tattoo. Form 6705 N Clark The girl who put my tattoo she didn't put it the right way. She put on top of the skin not inside the skin. It came of on the next day. I want to get a touch up on my tattoo she was so aggressive. I won't go there anymore. When I talk to the boss he is telling me to talk to her. And she is telling me to talk to the boss. :(

Kevin who owns the shop does an amazing job of making sure that his and everyone’s clients are well taken care of. Nestor has worked on my sleeve for a while now and never ceases to produce amazing work. Eva, the blue haired girl, is super funny and definitely made my experience at the shop a great one. So I got a tattoo of a chemical formula on my left arm at Mind Crusher back in September and it turned out beautifully. Compared to my awful first tattoo I got at another shop, the tattoo I got at mind crusher turned out amazing. The lines on it are so sharp and clean it looks exactly like the actual formula in my Chemistry book. The staff were all super nice and it was honestly very reasonably priced for the excellent quality of work they did. I always suggest Mind Crusher when my friends ask me where they should get their tattoos. I definitely see myself going back for future tattoo purchases.

5 Stars!!! I am so glad that I went to Mindcrusher today, to get my gorgeous tattoo. Kevin Owings is the kindest man who has ever tattooed me. I don’t have a ton of tattoos, but of the four artists to ever ink me, I felt the most comfortable, safe and heard ever. I brought him a flower he’d never done before, that means a lot to me and he took so much time, consulting with other artists to create the most exquisite piece. More than that, he explained everything, showed off the work of his employees and I felt like I sat with a real friend for five hours. Amazing experience, ridiculously fair price, beautiful work. Yeah. I’ll be back, with some friends.
