Had an amazing cover up done by Carlos "Tito". Took his time to give me exactly what I wanted. He also has a super light hand so made the pain a little more bearable. Every other shop I contacted told me I either need to darken the colors of what I wanted or I had to get laser removal. If you need any work done I definitely recommend Carlos. The shop is also super clean and chill played great music the whole time.

Went there a while ago got my arms evened out got a holy piston on my right forearm. As soon as I walked in someone was there to help me out. Very friendly people the girl up front hooked me up with the artist Lebster. He was in middle of another tattoo stopped helped me out and got everything organized in minutes. After finishing my tattoo he took a picture shows that the artist are proud of there work. Lebster does great work I got to get in contact with him to help me about a cover up now. Keep up the great work everyone. Definitely telling people about this place.

Showed up for Friday the 13th tattoo and waited around for 20 minutes in what appeared to be a line and was told that "everyone knows that if you don't sign in before 10pm, you are not getting tattooed." I'm not sure who everyone is, but no one at the shop even directed anyone anywhere and when I called ahead, I was not told that, nor does it mention that anywhere on Facebook or anywhere else. So thank you, no thank you. Zero stars for tattoo not realized. I don't mind waiting hours to get a tattoo, what I mind is not being informed about their haphazard lines and then waiting around to be told "everyone knows". Really? Because waiting in line means I was attempting to sign in.

I did a walk-in today and got a tattoo on my hand. My artist was Leo and he was super nice to me and gave me a few different options for designs and sizing. Would recommend this shop and can’t wait to come back for more! Note: cash is recommended (Chase is directly next door if you need an ATM) and if you want parking close by park on Neva there aren’t any meters and you won’t get towed!

Had an appointment for a 6 o’clock tattoo. An hour sitting in the lobby and no artist to be found. I won’t name drop him or any of the employees who had nothing to say the whole time I was just sitting there. Very unprofessional. It was a tester tattoo because I have so much more I want to get, and so many people I could’ve recommended this place. Shame. Oh well, on to the next shop.

Loved it! Drove 2 hours to get tattooed by Arturo and was not disappointed. We talked before hand and had a price for me, then drew up different sizes of my tattoo and made sure I was comfortable with the size and price before getting started. Very easy going the other artist all seemed to get along which made for a good atmosphere. He made sure I knew he was using a new needle and always asked how I was doing and if I needed a break. I spent about 4-5 hours there and am already planning my next tattoo. This place was recommended to me and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for their next piece

Called ahead and asked if they took walkins and the guy who answered said sure come on in. Very polite. I explained that my wife and I just wanted 2 simple tattoos. When we got there they were all pleasant except the tattoo artist we were given. To say he was arrogant, cocky and almost to the point of rude is a understatement. I have 9 tattoos and my wife has 8. If we were from this area or had our car( took a lift there) we would have walked out. His work was good but damn needs to work on his people skills. We are actually going somewhere else tonight to ge a few more before heading home. Never ever would recommend him on his attitude alone.

My 18 year old son wanted to get his first tattoo. I was freaking out because he picked Poseidon and he wanted it on the side of his chest. We visited few different tattoo shops, but when we walked into Dream City Tattoos we were immediately impressed. Owner of the shop, Gonzo, is very personable and professional. He makes people feel comfortable and thoroughly explains things. The tattoo shop atmosphere is fantastic, the artists in the shop and the people who go there are great. They will work with you on what you want and make it look awesome. I highly recommend stopping in to this shop and working with the artists there. The artist that worked with my son was the owner of the shop, and he delivered on all points. He’s an awesome guy, and a REALLY GREAT artist, and my son have a beautiful piece of art on his body that he is very proud and excited to show off. Again, I can't say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere is inviting, the tattoo shop is clean, and the artists are professional and instantly make you feel comfortable and that you are in good hands. Most importantly, the work that they do is fantastic. Bottom line, if you’re on the fence about where to get your tattoo, than this is the place!

The artist are amateurs, take such a long time to draw up ure tattoo, then 1hr to set up. Want u to pay up in cash. And touch ups... don't bother.. they got ure money already, they don't care to do so.. and the ink they use must be from the dollar store, cause it's only been 3 months and my tattoo is already fading. By the way.. customer service sucks too. Go any where else... any where... but here. U could only dream!! of having a nice, decent tatto..leaving "dream city tattoos "

Don't spend your money nor time here, they will rip you off. i have ran into several people who encountered the same issue. They will force you to pay in full, yet never follow up for the following sessions. The "owner,boss/supervisor" is never present and will never answer the phone. Yet BBB and Lisa Madigan have been attempting, they will forever avoid.

I saw a well-done tattoo and found out about this place. The place is easy to find, clean inside, prices reasonable. Ricky greeted and assisted me almost immediately after I walked in. I can be horribly indecesive but he was very patient while I picked out fonts. The final product is exactly my vision- super neat, perfect size and placement is spot on. I love it!! I had a horrible experience with Eric. He calls himself scriptinator. I made an appointment a month in advance and paid a deposit. I get there at 3pm just like I said I would and he doesn’t show up. No call and no text. I find out soon after that he’s at his house doing another tattoo and wanted to pawn me off to another tattoo artist. Very unprofessional. I finally get in touch with him and he said since I didn’t get ahold of him the day of he didn’t think I was still coming. Isn’t that what a deposit is for? Long story short he never showed up. Basically stole my deposit to do another tattoo. Never refunded me either. Thought I was hiring a professional tattoo artist but that was not the case. Seemed more like a con artist. So learn from me and do your research.

Came from Forest Park passing up 5 different shops because I heard they were good. Nope, a lie. As soon as I walked up (mind you it's only 12:55am), they're talking and tell me they're closed. Really??? I thought it was supposed to close at 2:00am, the main reason I came this far was because of the time they stayed open and then I tried to call ahead but didn't get an answer. Didn't even step in the place and was beyond annoyed at their service. What a waste of my Time and Gas. I guess I'll just go to Ageless Arts on North Avenue instead, they do great work anyway.
