What a fantastic experience from start to finish! Before I get started on how wonderful my artist Mike was, I just want to mention the reason I chose this shop in the first place. While I was planning my honeymoon I wanted to get a tattoo while in Oahu and did a little research on finding a shop. As it was a little daunting looking in advance, from the first contact with Tattoolicious they went above and beyond to ensure the best experience. From helping me choose the best artist to fit the style I was looking for (which was hard as all the artists work is incredible), to the quick responses and guidance I was so grateful of their help through it all. In arriving to the shop I loved how clean the shop is, the ambiance and the friendly employees from the front desk to the various artists. This instantly set me at ease and having such a welcoming environment is something that I find very important. I was lucky enough to have Mike be my artist and he was the defining factor of my experience here and why I would recommend him to anyone visiting or thinking of getting a tattoo here on the island. From the beginning to the end he worked to ensure I had exactly what I was looking for and still went above and beyond. He took the simple idea I had and transformed it to give me a unique piece that I will always treasure. That's what set him apart and why he deserves the title "artist" as many can have the application but few use that artistic liberty to accentuate every minor detail. Will absolutely come back the next time I'm here and can't wait until then!

I decided to get a tattoo on me and my wife's 10th anniversary vacation (was going to get one on our honeymoon, but the cards just didn't fall right), and after seeing some of Joshua Flinn's work, knew he was the one to do it. His style of Polynesian and water color (a style he came up with - Polynesian Watercolor Fusion) was exactly what I was looking for. This was going to be my first tattoo, so I wanted an experienced artist and an clean place to get it at. Tattoolicious seemed to be a very clean, upscale place to scar my body for life ;) Upon arriving, I was not disappointed. All of the staff was super friendly and accommodating. I had emailed Josh ahead of time and described what I was wanting to get, so he had me a design all drawn up. Josh was very great about everything. He made us feel at home and we were very comfortable with the entire process. I didn't know what to expect, pain-wise, but it turned out that Josh is very experienced, and what little pain I did have was negligible. I probably could have went to sleep in the chair if I'd have wanted! I was in the chair probably around 3 to 3 1/2 hours total to get my tattoo (Josh was very good about taking breaks if I needed), and it turned out amazing! The watercolor that Josh put into the tattoo surpassed my expectations, and it's my favorite of all of the ones I've seen! If you have ever considered getting a tattoo and were intimidated by some of the sketchy locations and artists, this is the place to go. Very upscale, clean, and inviting. The staff couldn't have been more friendly, and definitely ask for Josh!

What sold us was their Instagram account which showed hundreds and hundreds of their art. Tyler is the man. If you are looking for a Polynesian style tattoo, ask for Tyler. His vibes are amazing, he’s a master of the craft, easygoing energy, artistic in every sense of the word. I’m halfway through my leg tattoo and was amazed by how much I love it already. Another session booked in two days to finish it off. Liz at the front desk is a fantastic hostess and makes you feel right at home, whether it’s your first tattoo or tenth. Shop is clean as a whistle, excellent playlists over the speakers, coffee shop right there in case you need a break for snacks. Five stars!

I gave Mike a bunch ideas and he drew up an awesome idea in 20 minutes that was perfect for me. I’ve had a lot of tattoos and this was by far the nicest shop I’ve been in and Mike had a really light hand and did an awesome job. Definitely recommend this shop hands down. Very clean, nice and friendly BUT My tattoo is uneven and blotchy looks like I’ve had it for years. I made sure to be EXTRA cautious due to it being a foot tattoo. It healed great, but you can tell time wasn’t taken on it
