Got my nose pierced here and it was a great experience. The shop is very clean and extremely knowledgeable with a ton of beautiful jewelry to pick from. Aftercare was thoroughly explained to me before I walked out and I've had 0 issues with my piercing. I recently went back and got my starter jewelry replaced with a hoop and I absolutely love it! I was asked prior to being pierced if I expected to one day wear a hoop to make sure the piercing was placed correctly as well!

Kyle was the best. He was so patient and understanding. Got my septum pierced. Went in on a Friday at 3pm and there was a 45 minute wait. But it's totally chill. Jewelry is real and therefore cost real money so bring your coins. Staff there are very knowledgeable. So if you have any questions or concerns this is the place to go.

I ordered some piercings on 5/1/19 and as of today I still haven't received them on 7/17/18. I have called, been patient and Emailed. They have given me the run around or just forgetting about my order. I emailed for either a discount or to cancel my order. I never received a reply. I've had to reach out multiple times first they never once volunteered delays or problems. Never buy online from them it's a complete waste.

Customer service is non existent in this place. I was in there for 20 minutes, no one greeted me. Two other people came in- they were greeted from the door. I waited because I thought she (blk girl) was busy, but she wasn't too busy to greet the two customers, ask them why they were there, and tell them to look around while she finishes up. Then the guy (white guy with big earrings) comes out, and he's more stoic than a statue. Idk what their problem was. After I spoke to him, I lost the vibe for that place. Ended up finding out about another piercing/tattoo shop down the block. I went to Long Island Ink instead. There, I was greeted at the door and treated like a person.

I received a piercing from a different shop 2 months back, but I was dissatisfied with the stud and wanted to change it. I appreciated the professionalism and honesty from Kolo Piercing on yesterday (3/7/2019) The other shop probably would’ve changed it without informing me the dangers of not letting the piercing properly heal for 6 months before changing it into a hoop. Even though I was informed after I bought the piercing, it was no problems being refunded the money back. It was a blessing that I found this place. I’ll see you guys in 4 months!

Bought tounge peircing jewelry here for $30 (way over priced but im on vacation so it was a emergency and also the cheapest they had) and it broke the next day,big scam absolutely terrible quality.The place next door sells tounge jewelry for $15 (still over priced but more reasonable and it doesn't break the next day) I highly recommend you stay away from this place they're just out to steel your money.

However this post is to celebrate the male employee (whose name I missed) with shaved head and many facial piercings- He is a true Kolo Gem!! Thank you so much; you have a wonderful character. He was a lifesaver for me yesterday night helping me find the perfect piece of jewelry for my occasion. I had driven an hour and was welcomed, not rushed. That really meant so much to me. Their jewelry selection is extensive, the reason why I went. I left feeling overjoyed.

Love this place. The facility is immaculate and the woman at the counter was pleasant and patient with my million questions. Gigi is AMAZING, and does an excellent job of talking you through the process. My nostril piercing was almost pain-free. If I were the multiple piercing kind, I'd only go here. Five stars, top notch.

Just got my septum pierced here! I've gotten other piercings here over the past 20 years, and the quality is always amazing! The person who works the front is possibly one of the nicest and unintentionally funny guys I have ever come across. Kyle was my piercer and he was personable and hilarious. I'll for sure be back in a few months, once I'm all healed up for some new jewelry!

I honestly think this is the best pierce shop in Atlanta. Their prices are fair for great quality jewelry and they have so much more to choose from than any shop I've been to. And Gigi is f'ng BOMB. Like- I've had a lot of piercings in a lot of "uncomfortable" places and I've never had a piercer as quick and precise as her. She did my conch and I was not looking forward to the rumored pain, but she was so quick and assuring that I literally felt nothing-not even the "pinch". She's also a very likeable person aside from her talents. The rest of the staff was helpful and friendly as well. I definitely recommend this place

Went to see Gigi. She wasn’t in so Kyle ended up doing my nostril piercing. He was friendly and entertaining during the process. He even commended himself on his work, which I loved. I deducted a star for the slim young man in the front. He wasn’t very welcoming and didn’t explain the different nose rings, just pointed them out. First timer so I would have like an explanation of what I’m choosing. Especially when I stressed I wanted something really tiny. Customer service is everything to me. He wasn’t rude, just not inviting. Would definitely return though.

I recently (about a month ago) paid a little over $100 to have the jewelry in 3 piercings on my ear replaced (Tragus, Rook, and Helix). They had tons of nice jewelry and were polite and helpful when I was choosing sizes, etc. I chose super simple jewelry with clear gems on the ends and the experience in the shop was great. However, my helix jewelry fell out recently - I just noticed it today. I've had this piercing for several years and have had several pieces of jewelry in it and have never had this issue. I called the shop and they can't even give me a discount on new jewelry. I understand that anyone can just say they lost jewelry but I have two other pieces from their shop, and I'm not asking for anything for free, just a discount would be nice. The whole point of this jewelry is to be permanent until you want to take it out, and even if I had had it for a year I wouldn't be too upset, but after a month? That's not a good product, definitely not worth the money. Or maybe it wasn't installed properly. I have no idea and it honestly doesn't really matter. Now I'm paranoid about the other jewelry I bought falling out as well, but I don't want to just waste it. Nice shop, nice staff, but wouldn't recommend you spend your money here unless you just want to replace your jewelry in a month.

I went here for my birthday to get a couple piercings and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I actually had initially gone to another place for my piercings but because i had a cocktail with my dinner the night before they turned me away. I’m honestly glad they did because Kolo was a great experience. The piercer walked me through every step of the process and talked to me before the piercing about the healing expectations for my anatomy which was really appreciated. It was well worth the drive to get there. Edit: I wanted to add that I was in on a Friday evening. They gradually got busier and my wait was about an hour I think but I didn’t mind at all. They’re busy for a reason! It’s a good shop. Many people in there were repeat customers. I had my nipples done and was more than happy to wait for my jewelry to get prepped and sterilized. Keep in mind that if you’re waiting and see someone who came in after you get seen first it’s for a reason.

Always wanted a daith piercing and was apprehensive about it. Spoke to Adam when I arrived and he told me it was less painful than using the guns. Kyle actually did the piercing and all I felt was a little pressure. It took 7 minutes tops for Kyle to mark my ear and do the piercing!!! It was a totally sterile process and Kyle has the best personality for this type of business. I will definitely go back.

Had about a 45 min wait even with an appt set up a week in advance but it was worth the wait. My 8 year old son got to pick from a large variety of earrings. The woman who did the piecing was amazing with him. He asked for it (the week prior thus the appointment) but after the first ear was done he wanted to back out. She assured him it would be worth it and he loved them as soon as she was done. I highly recommend Kolo!

This is the only place my wife and daughters will go for piercings. Always very clean, the staff is awesome and the same faces every time. Selection is fantastic pricing is very fair considering the quality of service, quality of material used and care they give. My friend and I came here while we were in Atlanta for the day. This place is so pretty and CLEAN inside. Fantastic and impressive selection of body jewelry. Efficient, professional and courteous staff. And it was actually more affordable than I anticipated since it’s such a nice shop. My friend got a conch piercing with gem jewelry and I got a daith piercing with gem jewelry, all for $120. (I know that’s kinda standard, but it’s a nice shop ok.) The piercer herself was friendly and obviously had a lot of experience based on how sanitary and professional she was about the procedure. Made sure to give me verbal and printed aftercare instructions. I would definitely go here again.

I used to love Kolo but their quality has gone down the drain. I went in for a simple jewelry change and the piercer named Kyle really hurt me. My piercing was fully healed (10 months) and he was so rough with me, he made it bleed. it is now crusty and sore and I’m worried about how long it will take to recover from this now. it also doesn’t look right at all. I can’t believe he was so careless while dealing with someone else’s body! I’m just in a lot of unnecessary pain and wish I had gone to another shop but what’s done is done. the only person I trust there is Gigi!

I have been to Kolo twice and each time Kyle pierced me. I've had both my right and left tragus done and I love how they look. Kyle is super friendly and makes you feel at ease. I wanted to come back for an industrial piercing in a few months but he took a look at my ear and recommended that I not get that piercing. He said the way my ear is shaped would likely cause issues with the way the bar sits and will pull and tug while it's attempting to heal, which would cause a ton of issues. I was disappointed as I've been wanting this piercing for a while, but he knows his stuff, so I'll take his professional recommendation and toss the idea. He said we can do some other piercings instead in a few months and that'll work for me. Most shops would have just given me the industrial anyway to make a quick buck without telling me about the issues that I would likely have because of my ear shape. It meant a lot to me that he told me rather than just saying "OK, let's do it!". Also, I'm not sure why some people say the staff is unfriendly. These are some of the nicest people EVER. The gentleman at the front desk with the shaved head is great too, even though some reviews say otherwise. I get the impression that he won't take a lot of nonsense and is pretty straight forward which I personally like. Overall this is a great place and I'll be back for more piercings in a few months!
