I can not imagine having a better experience than I did at Holy Grail. The shop is super clean. The fellas in the cool black shirts are very professional and informative when it comes to the after care of your tattoo. I am very particular when it comes to tattoo shops, and this shop meets all of my criteria, right down to their choice of music. The only negative I have is that they only accept cash for tattoos, but this dulls in comparison to all of the great things this shop has to offer. Came in with a buddy wanting matching bands around our legs, and on appointment day the artist said he didn’t understand the original idea and couldn’t line up the stencil to make the circle line up around our calves. We let him keep the deposit because we agreed to talk about a different design and come back to him. I asked him for a palm tree, showed him an example, again he said he couldn’t do it because the leaves wouldn’t look right. I understand that they are artists and know what is doable and what will and will not look good as the tattoo ages, but I never got the deposit back and agree with the other reviews that the staff is rude. The whole time, both times, I felt like the staff did not want me there.

Well I would have given them five stars because when I went there and got my tattoo from Travis, it was awesome and chill. But now I have to give them a one star for unbelievable unprofessionalism and rudeness. I commented a joke on one of their Instagram posts that they tagged #inkedgirls when it was obviously a man's hand and body and then Holy Grail sent me a message asking why I was commenting on their tattoos... I explained what happened and I also let them know that one of their tattoos was unfortunately wrong... It was a pinup Statue of Liberty and on her tablet that she held, in Roman numerals it read July 6th instead of July 4th. Someone has to live with that on their body forever now! It's such a shame I had to write this but they left me no choice. When I called the shop after they blocked me to ask what happened, the man who answered told me he didn't want to talk about it on the phone and then went silent. The way they run is really unprofessional and they have certainly lost my business forever. I already had a list of things I wanted to get from them! Very big, expensive plans but unfortunately they will now miss out on that business. Good luck boys.

This being my first time going to Holy Grail Tattoo, my expectation was pretty high, seeing the type of artist styles being shown on the businesses Facebook page. I was extremely impressed with artist Izic's work. I reached out to him and he instantly responded even while on a family vacation. That instantly showed me he cared about his clients and was passionate about his work. Many people can say their a good and great tattoo artist, but you have to have the passion to be an exceptional tattoo artist. Izic, is an exceptional artist and my experience with him and Holy Grail Tattoo shop was above a 5 star rating.

What really matters to me when getting a tatt? Experience, customer service and cleanliness. These people at Holy Grail Tattoo are like a tight knit family and take pride in their work. They provide 5 star customer service, going above and beyond! They are always answering questions thoroughly and politely. I never feel like an idiot for calling to ask a question about the healing process. I got my daith pierced on Friday the 13th deal, with zero regrets and amazing results. I appreciated the take home After-Care Pamphlet to help me remember everything needed for a great healing. The piercing area is set up like clinic, and sterile tool. He explained each step but also moved quickly so I didn’t have time to panic. In and out in 10 mins or less. A few weeks in and the doctor is requesting an MRI. I called the piercer and asked what to do. He agreed to help me put a retainer in so I don’t have difficulties for the scan. He didn’t even hesitate or give fuss about this extra work. Thank god for this! I want to keep my cute piercing even if it didn’t help with migraines like I hoped. People! I couldn’t be happier with this place! They’re truly there for the lifetime of your piercing. Choose Holy Grail Tattoo, you won’t regret it either.

Tattoo shops and the artists often get a bad name, as many people judge off of appearance alone. The shops are often bare, except for the selection of tattoos on the walls to choose from, and it can feel more like a hospital setting to keep the appearance of cleanliness and sterilization. The tattoo artists are often misconstrued as rude or too busy to assist you. Holy Grail is NOT one of the places described above. As soon as you walk in, you can sense that the owner, Tasili, has taken time to do his research and make the shop classy, warm, and inviting. You can clearly see that it is clean and well taken care of, and the waiting area is inviting. The staff, while busy as you would expect making sure their work is pristine, take the time to greet you immediately. Your consultation is done either immediately or after a few moments, and the use of an iPad to draw your tattoo out takes no time at all. I have been to many tattoo shops over the years and had many artists, but I can say by far that these gentlemen tattooers are bringing back class to the tattoo industry, and it is very refreshing. I am still complimented daily on my tattoos from Tasili, about the clean lines, unique designs, and placement. Every customer, no matter who they went to, were thrilled with their work, and any time I ask anyone where they got their beautiful art work, they always say Holy Grail.

I suffer from migraines and am scared of needles! I finally decided to get the daith piercing for both ears and called around town. I drove by Holy Grail and on a whim went inside and spoke to Drew Johnson. The place was so clean and the staff so professional and friendly. I was so nervous but Drew answered ALL my questions and then some! It was as sterile as the doctor's office, the procedure was quick and Drew was awesome! I couldn't thank him enough! Don’t go for your Piercings on Friday the 13th, or any kind of sales they may have because staff will place favorites before others when it’s supposed to be on a first come first serve basis. For example we were 75-76. Mind you we have already been waiting for an hour and 30 minutes at this point. We over hear the staff talking to these two girls who weren’t too excited about being 93-94. So they let them cut ahead of 20 people to receive their piercings. It took over 2 hours for them to get from #55 to #71 just to put into perspective on how long it actually takes. Thanks for the wasted day. We sincerely appreciate it.

I went in with a friend to get a simple wrist tattoo and she was going to get one on her ribs. While she went with Tassili who was awesome, I went with Isaac and he was amazing!!!!!!! He drew up my wrist tattoo super quick and I loved it, then I threw my rib tattoo idea at him and he drew something up super quick and it looked better than anything I could've thought of. Even though both hurt more than I thought, Isaac was super patient, sweet and quick! I never had a tattoo before and my first time I got two! I received both before and after quality care during my visit and was very pleased with the end results. A week later I lost the top stud piece to my left earring. I drove all the way from Haines City to Lakeland with cotton holding the backing in place. I was greeted by the same welcoming staff and again received clean and professional care from Drew!!! Almost a month ago I got my first tattoo at Holy Grail Tattoo (from Travis Lane) and I am so happy I did. I went in and talked to him two weeks before and left a deposit. When I came back I asked for a small change on my stencil (from a mistake made on my part) and he was cool and quick to fix up a new stencil. The tattoo only took about two hours. The atmosphere of the shop in general was awesome. Great decor and very chill. I definitely recommend this shop, and hope that I can get another tattoo from here in the future.

Expensive, rude, and I have never heard "I can't" out of an artist so much in my life. It's not worth it! Don't go! If you want to be treated like gum on a shoe, not get what you asked for, and pay a lot of money, then you have found your place. Do not let the decorations of the shop fool you as that is the only thing going for them. It's a same you have a one good artists working there and the rest talk down to people. If you don't want to explain tattoos then why are you in the tat business? Rudeness is what they do and taking your money for low quality is the game.

December: Recently got a "sensitive" piercing here and had a wonderful experience. (I forgot his name) made me feel super comfortable and he did great at explaining how to take care of it. The location had a cool vibe and everything was very sanitary. I would definitely go back in the future; maybe next time for a tattoo. July: I couldn't add an additional review so I'm adding an addy experience. It was again a great experience. I got a beautiful tattoo that was designed for me. It healed extremely well. Tassili answered any question I had before, during, and after.

My husband purchased me a $100 gift certificate on 1/17/2018. We had to put it away because I am disabled and have spent the last year in the hospital having multiple surgeries on my back. My surgeon and pain management doctors did not give me the go ahead to have a tattoo done until after 01/01/2019 due to severe pain sensitivity issues. Now, here is where I will take full responsibility for my part in this. I got the gift certificate out after all this time and was very unhappy to see that there an expiration date of one year on it. I should have known that it expired then. I called Holy Grail Tattoos on 1/10/2019 to make an appt for a tattoo before the expiration date. They said that I could not do that, that I had to meet with an artist first, and that as long as I came in (as a walk-in) and put down my cash deposit and made my appt before the year was up (even if the tattoo appt fell after expiration date), I could still use my gift certificate. I went down the next week to do that and even told them my doctors had offered a note as proof. The shop manager informed me that he would have to talk to the shop owner about extending the gift certificate, gave me whole list of reasons why (complete opposite of what I was told on the phone). He did not smile or make me feel welcome in the shop at any point. He took my $50 deposit and information and said he would let me know. I even said several times I could come the next day if needed, but he kept brushing me off. I called the next day and was told that, no, they would not honor it, even though, I was told they would when I had called originally. I came in three days before the expiration date to schedule, like I was told! Even when I said, again, I could come in that same day for my tattoo which was the last day of my gift certificate, he said they were too busy (even though there were only 2 people in the shop the night before when I was there). No one made any effort to make it work with me. I attempted to get there before the expiration date and I did what I was told. Each person I spoke to was ruder than the last. They did not care that we were losing $100. I understand that it was mainly my fault, but they could have tried to work with me, especially since I held up my end and did what they said to do (and I called a WEEK before it expired to set up an appt). That would have been good business practice, but since I wasn't getting a $1000 tattoo, they didn't seem to care about that. Or good customer service obviously. At least I get my $50 deposit back. Is this how they treat all disabled people, I wonder? *Edit: I went in get my deposit today and the shop manager refused to even let that be a professional experience. He had to make a snide comment about he "appreciated my Google review". I am more convinced than ever that this review is very "well deserved".*

I went there and got my daith pierced, Drew was great! During the healing process I messed up and unscrewed my piercing and it came out and somewhat closed up. I got my first tattoo with them a little over 2 years ago and now I came back for my second tattoo and I was impressed yet again. It was as if nothing had changed from the last time (if anything, the experience was enhanced): the place was clean as usual, every single tattoo artist was professional and well dressed, they used state of the art technology to design and give me an AR visual of what the end result would be on my arm, and they were available over the past week to answer my questions and concerns as my tattoo healed. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for quality, phenomenal service, and consistency; can’t put a price on it.

This place is awesome! As soon as I stepped foot into the shop I was greeted by their friendly staff. I went in to get my nose pierced let's not mention I was terrified! But their piercer was so professional, quick and sweet. I will always come back here. They are nice and the place is clean!!!

I wanted to put negative stars if possible!! I had the worst costumer service ever! I had messaged them about Labor Day hours and they said they were open. I said I will be coming by with my friend and I. They said not a problem. Then we wait for them to open their normal shop hours and then tell us appointmentonly on Labor Day. Why didn’t you tell me when I message you guys days before Labor Day?! -So I tired to regain their trust and set appointment up for the next day. They said no appointment needed but free after four because of a tattoo. Refused to take my name and number down so they can call me after that tattoo was finished and I would come in after it was done. -I walk in. He was free from the tattoo and now was working on piercings. When I say and waited for him to be free. A gentlemen that works there asked me what I’m getting and where. I said I would like the rose special and on my shoulder. He LAUGHED in my FACE and said I will not allow Drew to tattoo there. Flat surfaces only. And for the special you are not getting those kind of roses and that size. I expressed before and after I showed him the picture, that it was only a picture of where I would like one or two roses placed. Not changing the rose or size of the roses that in the special. -After Drew was done, he went to the back where the gentlemen I talk to before hand was and they were making rude remaking on my “ideas and horrible placement”. I sat there for another 5 minute then expressed to the guy at the desk that I’m not a valued customer. And I left. # I’m sharing this because I wish no one had to go through what I went through in two days. Apparently they are not professional and open to talking to you face to face. I hope this helps people find the right place to get tattooed at.

I got my ear pierced for migraines about a year ago. I think the owner was the one who done it then and was very gentle and nice. My ear was sore for a day and then it was fine no pain like I had expected. A few days ago I lost the back to my earring and went in and Drew was the one who helped me. He was very sweet and he even had a good laugh when I told him I hot glued the tip of the back on so it didn't fall out. Lol he was very gentle and ended up having to put in a bigger size. I will definitely be back for all my piercing needs and I will definitely tell my friends and family about y'all!
