I had a friend recommend this parlor to me since I was in the market for my very first tattoo. I was very nervous, but everyone was very friendly and kind. They were super reassuring and made me feel very relaxed. I totally recommend this parlor and will be returning for more tattoos soon!

My friend and I went into American classic to get a small tattoo and they over charge way too much. I’m not sure if they thought we were on spring break, but a simple tattoo the size of a nickel shouldn’t cost $160. I understand placement and the artist themselves charge different, but that’s insane. After we left here, we went to another tattoo shop that was rated high with good reviews and I’ve had tattoos done here before, priced the same tattoo for $65. I get they’re trying to make money off of spring breakers (we’re both locals),but I'm still in shock about the price difference. Overall the shop was clean and the people I talked to were nice.

My husband and I both got tattoos from John Collins and both came out awesome! He is a very experienced tattoo artist and it def shows. We gave him a few ideas of what we wanted and he was able to draw up exactly what we wanted in no time at all. midway thru my husbands tattoo a customer in the shop brought to our attention that john was on the tv show ink masters season 8.. how cool is that!? Every employee that we came in contact with while we were there was extremely personable and professional .. we had a great experience and will be back next year this time for another tattoo from john for sure!

During a recent trip to Destin, we decided we wanted to get tattoos. American Classic Tattoo came highly recommended and is only about 45 minutes from Destin. We came later in the evening on a Friday night since we had to leave for home the next morning. The staff at the shop were amazing. The four of us were tattoo rookies, and they were extremely patient with our lack of tattoo knowledge and educated us on the process. They made sure we left town with tattoos that looked amazing and even stayed a bit later to accommodate the four of us. Everyone there was friendly and professional. The shop was clean, and you can smell the cleanliness as soon as you walk in. There are some amazing artists at this shop. I can highly recommend Brandon, Darren, and Ian, but judging by the portfolios in the shop, you can't go wrong with any artist at this shop. If you are anywhere within driving range of PCB, do not hesitate to drive into PCB and go to American Classic. We frequent Destin yearly and are already thinking about what to get next. We will be back for more tats!

The woman at the counter was extremely rude!!! She seemed very irritated that I brought my 2 kids in. If you don't want kids in there put a sign on the door. They were very interested in watching me get a tattoo so I brought them. All I wanted was 4 tiny stars and they tried to charge 140!!! Rip off!!! This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. Horrible place. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! Rude ass people.

Didn't even get a tat but just checking around, granted it's a tourist city and prices are typically higher but the guy we spoke with was just flat out rude and insulted my wife's cover up...which is really awesome work. Not to mention he also insulted other local tat shops saying they do premium work...while the rest just suck... actually oxygen seemed to have better art on their walls...and with a reasonable price

The Friday the 13th special would have been ok had they let you choose where you wanted to put the tattoo instead of telling you what part of the body you could put it and charging more if you wanted to but it elsewhere. I didn't get a tattoo that day.

I was debating on waiting until I got back home to have this tattoo done. I'm so glad I didn't wait. I had an idea in mind and the artist took my general idea and drew something that looks incredible. It's a simple tattoo but it's awesome. Perfect shading, perfect details, he added some ideas and guided me instead of letting me make a bad decision. I highly recommend Joshua Espenshade. I've had guys do work who just throw a tattoo on me and get me out the door. He took his time and looked closely at the detail of his work. I couldn't be happier.
