I got a tattoo from Matt a couple years ago, and am saving up for more. He's a total professional, from the consult to the design to the execution. I couldn't believe how clean the linework was, and how quick and easy it seemed to be for him to do this amazing piece. Everyone who sees it thinks it must have taken hours, but it was only about 45mins and it still looks incredible 2 years later, with no bleeding whatsoever. I looked this place up today because someone asked me for a recommendation and I couldn't remember the name of the shop. Figured I'd leave a review while I'm here... I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Matt Stankis, the owner, is very talented. He's pleasant, professional and his shop is immaculately clean (and decorated very cool). This is my 4th tattoo by him and I wouldn't go anywhere else! I totally trust him. Whether this is ur 1st or 10th tattoo, go see Matt. U won't b disappointed!

Love this PLACE!! I just got my first tattoo here and Matt (the owner) is so skilled it is incredible! Not only did he finish the tattoo quickly but he was just so chill! When I called, Nathan answered the phone and he was also very friendly! If this is your 1st tattoo or your 50th you will love this place!

Absolutely the only place that I will ever get tattooed. Matt did my first tattoo before there was a Northside, and with the exception of one tattoo I got somewhere else (which he ended up fixing anyway) he has done all my work ever since. I will NEVER let anyone else tattoo me ever again. He always knows exactly how to make something look just how I want it, even if I'm not quite sure myself what I want, and I come in with some totally random uncommon ideas. I put all my faith in him every time, and it always turns out awesome. I get TONS of compliments on my color, my lines are all neat and clean, and I've never once had an issue with healing, or fading. I've never seen anything in the shop that looks out of place, or not sterile, or questionable at all. The place is immaculately clean, and definitely worth checking out.

Matt is so talented and honest. When I wanted something that he didn't think would look good, he told me. I was grateful. And the piece he did on me was just gorgeous. I get compliments on it everywhere I go. Amber is also awesome. She has done several piercings for me and I think she has a softer touch than others I had a piercing from. The shop is clean, the atmosphere fun and relaxing. Best tattoo shop I have ever seen. Definitely worth the drive if you are out of state!

Atmosphere is great. Nathan is awesome with piercings, lets you know exactly what he is doing and why every step of the way. Very patient and knowledgeable. Big Mike is awesome with tattoos, puts you at ease and makes sure you get exactly what you want. Havent had a chance of sitting with Matt but I'm sure I will with a future tattoo. Highly recommend this place . Wont leave disappointed.
