They were super friendly and helpful throughout the process and didn’t try to convince me to make the size of the tattoo bigger or put it on a different place for my first time (I got a word tattooed on my ribs). From start to finish, this place is top notch! Last week I brought my son in for a consultation. The receptionist was so friendly, asked some questions and got us directly with the artist of our choice quickly. We met with Tanner whom was thoughtful, and said he could deliver the desired design in a week. My son is 16, so I was nervous, but Tanner did an amazing job! His rates are reasonable, his communication clear and concise, and his easy mannerism put a mom at ease when letting her boy get his first tat! He is an amazing artist that listens and adjusts to your requests. I know all will be pleased that go to Tribal - & whomever chooses to work with Tanner!

If I could give a zero star I would! My daughter got her nose pierced here and I got my tragus pierced. Both were done wrong! My daughters nose was pierced way too far back and at a wrong angle. The jewelry that was used for my tragus was wrong! Don't go here for piercings!!

I got my tragus pierced here by a young woman who seemed like she had zero experience. After the initial piercing she couldn't get the jewelry screwed on for over 5 minutes, there was blood everywhere, and she didn't ask anyone else for help she just kept digging around and struggling, it ended up tearing part of my ear so I had a gash next to the earring. After leaving and dealing with the swelling and bleeding I realized she used wayyyy to small of an earring so there was no room for swelling. I ended up having to go to a different shop and get new jewelry. After care instructions were extremely vague and just not professional at all. I would absolutely never get a peircing there again.

Working with Dennis has been great, i came to him with an idea and he took that idea and turned it something better than i could have ever imagined. Once we settled on the design it was time to put that work in. After 4 hours in the chair the artwork came out incredible. Ive had nothing but great comments on not only the awesome design, but the quality and precision of lines as well. All in all i cannot recommend this shop high enough. Taylor Bundgaard pierced my nostril here a few days ago, and I had a phenomenal experience! They were extremely considerate of the placement since it was going to be a symmetrical nostril piercing, and re-placed the marker dot 4 times for me. They got the needle and jewelry through in about 3 seconds, and then allowed me some time to recuperate. I got kind of pale, so they grabbed me a cold water bottle and a Jolly Rancher to get some sugar in me. Unfortunately, my body reacted adversely, and I actually ended up passing out in the chair for a few seconds. They were extremely caring and attentive to me the entire time, and tried to make me less embarrassed about having passed out. The piercing was fairly priced, and the shop is clean and pleasant to be in. I got a calf tattoo recently from Kevin Seawell, as well as a thigh piece about a year and a half ago, and he is a phenomenal artist! Fantastic line work, dot work, and well-done sacred geometry. Definitely check him out! Especially for black tattoos!

Went in to get my first tattoo today...tried some others but fate must have led me here. Dennis put some artwork on my calf that is incredible. Better than I ever thought it would be. Detail and colors are amazing.My 60th birthday present to myself couldn't haveturned out any better. Dennis convinced me to go a little bigger than originally planned and he was so right. I actually like this place I've gotten 3 piercings here. My septum is beautiful, I love it. I got my belly button pierced, i love it too. But my scoop on my tongue the first time it was crooked...so I went I'm again and it was "fixed". Once the swelling went down....it was even mote crooked than last time...I guess I'm gonna have to go to a different place and see it they can fix it.

What a great place to have a tattoo done!! From the minute I walked in, Holly was super friendly and made me feel instantly comfortable. Because of the fact I was having a lower stomach tattoo done, I though I would be super uncomfortable all day, but all of the staff was super professional. I came in with a specific design in mind and Connie nailed it!! Not only did she create a drawing from pictures that I put together she had to cover a large scar on my lower stomach. We spent 6 1/2 hours working straight through and it turned out beautifully. I highly recommend Tribe Tattoo, not only for the cleanliness & professionalism but for Connie and her amazing design skill and talent!

I find all the reviews surprising. I had the single worst experience at this establishment. The artist was Kenny. The work was inferior. I was treated poorly when I had come in for a touch up. I was told to come back, so I made an appointment for my touch up. I came in as scheduled, was told I had no appointment; waited an hour to sit for the touch up. He rushed through as if I was an inconvenience. It still looks awful. and .... for the small amount of work and horrible execution, was charged $220 for A tattoo I am currently seeking to cover over. The hand poke I got in prison is better quality! Very dissatisfied. I would tread careful at this studio.

Kristie did my tattoo about 8 months ago, it turned out to be incredible. I went in with some rather terrible sketches about what I wanted, and she turned it into a piece that I can display proudly. The shop is incredibly clean, and everybody in there treats you kindly. Kristie was, and continues to be, very patient with me when discussing my tattoos and ideas. I plan on going back in the next month or so hopefully to have her do my next piece, and I can't wait. I definitely recommend going here. Some people say that it's expensive, but I'm more than willing to pay a little extra when I know that I'm getting a fantastic, clean, quality tattoo that's sure to last me a life time.

This place is great – totally worth the trek downtown if you don’t live nearby. I went in today to get my 5th and 6th tattoos. I have been to several other shops in the past, but this was by far the best experience I’ve had anywhere. I was a walk-in, but I was welcomed warmly and accommodated quickly. There were two artists free, so I looked through their portfolios to choose which I would work with. While they both had exceptional work, I chose Vinny because he had some very impressive examples of geometric line work, which is what I was looking for. The two pieces I was getting today were small and relatively simple, but I felt like Vinny gave my design the same level of thought and consideration as someone there to spend several hours and several hundred/thousand dollars on a larger piece. Vinny was able to modify a larger design to the size I wanted, and his design was beautiful. He did an awesome job with the new pieces, and he even touched up two of my existing tattoos in the same area for free! He had a skillful and gentle touch – the most painless work I’ve ever had. I am confident they will heal beautifully. The price was less than expected, $50 apiece for two small black ink designs about the size of 50 cent pieces. I’ve been charged as much as $70 for similar work that was not of this caliber. I was able to pay with a card, which is always nice (some places are cash-only). Vinny said if I ever need a touchup at any time in the future he would take care of it free of charge. Overall, this was a great experience from start to finish. Clean and modern facility, welcoming staff, talented artist, great work, and a guarantee for future touchups (which I doubt I’ll need for a while, but very small black ink tats do looks best when freshened up from time to time). I would highly recommend Tribe and especially Vinny. Five stars for sure!!

If you go here, do not get Ben. He's cocky and will not give you want. He will stand by you at the end of the session when paying and make sure you leave him a tip, in fact he tells you he deserves a tip the whole time he is working on you. The entire process is dreadful, I walked in hoping to get Connie cause I was told she was available then they said she was not when I arrive but convinced me Ben was equivalent, absolutely not. He's one of the worst the 10 year veteran can't even copy script, he doesnt even know line weights. He ruined my sleeve that is dedicated to my grandma, over 4 years of work and a lot of it from an Ink Master... Ben said I can add to this and make it better than any ink master I want to leave my mark, he sure did and clearly not in a good way. I remember his ego remarkably well, and would love to say thanks for not respecting my requests especially on something so important. people mention the writing and how terrible it looks compared to the rest of the stuff on my sleeve. Above all it's disappointing how tribe tattoo handled it they admitted to the fact that he has done this before... how has he been tattooing for 10 years. .Mind Blown. On top of it all he overcharged me for the work he did, all in all I should have walked away from the beginning... if you go here, do not listen to the people at the front desk with their suggestions, they are salespeople, they dont care about giving you quality... stick to your guns and to the person who knows their i.e. Connie.

From the first communication I had with John and Holly at Tribe Tattoo, I have been impressed by their shop. As a newbie, I had no idea where to start. Holly was great in entertaining my ideas for a custom piece and arranged for a consultation with John, the shop owner. He listened to what I had to say and came up with a great design. I got to see the design a few weeks before my session and that was a great opportunity to give any input. Before my first session, I had a few questions - I e-mailed the shop and got a response the same day - with very detailed instructions for the day-of. I was pretty nervous when I arrived for my appointment, but everyone was so laid-back and yet professional, it really put me at ease. John was great - he talked me through everything and boy was he FAST! The piece was finished after about 2 hours - and I didn't really even notice the passage of time. It has been 5 days since I got the tattoo and it is healing perfectly. I think their aftercare instructions are great. I have gotten so many compliments on my new back piece - someone even said, "Wow, those lines are so perfect - is it real?" I have recommended John to everyone from friends to family and would go no where else to get ink. I cannot recommend Tribe Tattoo highly enough. Many thanks!

This place was very clean. New needles and everything sterilized. Very impressed on its cleanliness. I was with Ben on my tattoo and we did a greek polynesian tattoo and he killed it and over exceeded my expectations on it. He was very cooperating and was ingenious on his design and strategy. I absolutely love this shop. I have gotten 3 piercings here and it was the absolute best experience. All of their pierces are experienced and make you feel comfortable and confident with what you’re getting. I just got my first tatto today, Ben was my artist, and am absolutely in love with it.
