Jeff is my artist. Initially, I went in for adding coloring to an old tat, as a walk in. She did a wonderful job! We then made an appt to do a cover-up of a very old tat. We exchanged a few ideas and she came up with a truly fantastic work of art that I am very proud to host. I absolutely LOVE her work and plan to have her continue it. Jeff was professional, detailed and wonderful to work with. I highly recommend her.

Back in April I had a rose mandala tattoo done at another shop, and it was embarrassingly TERRIBLE!! You couldnt even tell it was a rose. Tonight I went to Heebee Jeebees and got my tattoo covered by Dez, and it looks SO good now!! I am beyond thrilled about how it turned out! I absolutely love it! I thought by getting a cover up it would be super dark, but instead the rose is actually a light peachy red and its beautiful. You cant even tell its a cover up. I highly recommend this shop, their owner Karen, and the tattoo artist Dez!!! I will definitely be back!!

So I decided to update my review… My first experience with the shop I would give five stars. The tattoo came out amazingly well and I have zero complaints. I received this tattoo 5 1/2 years ago. During my second visit to the shop, I would give them five stars for taking the time to go over the design with me, but three stars for the tattoo itself because it did not turn out at all like I had expected. I realize when getting tattoos this can happen. And unfortunately, I did not have an exact picture of what I wanted, and I was hesitant to get it done for that very reason. My only advice would be to anyone who is on the fence about getting one, make sure you are 100% confident in your design. Because the artist can only do so much to try to go off of what you say.

Initially went in for a small tattoo. Told the artist my budget. Agreed to an amount. She spent an hour adding detail i told her i didn't want. Ended up costing an extra $150. Wanted a small Cheshire cat on my foot. Got a large Cheshire cat on foot, ankle, and leg. Don't trust them. They add extra details you do not ask for. I was literally telling her not to add more details and to stop, and she didn't.

I had my first tattoo done by a man named Bill. He was incredibly patient and kind to me, and his work was amazing-- even for the little tattoo that I got. With a low pain tolerance, I was really anxious to get a one, but when I would get overwhelmed, Bill would stop tattooing and chat with me to help calm me down. I really, really appreciated his patience. This was a great first tattoo experience for me and I highly recommend this place.

This place blows my mind, poor customer service and if you look at what the owner replys to the reviews, she will call them liars, and several occasions. They haven't touched my skin, because of that and I really feel for some of the artists there because that is their boss so God only knows how much worse she is.

I came in for a walk in appointment with E and he did an amazing job! He was gentle and kept me calm through the entire process. I got my dad's handwriting done on my ribs, and it turned out perfect! This other woman at the shop came over often to ask how I was doing, which was really sweet. The whole place had a great relaxing atmosphere and top notch customer service. I would recommend this place to anyone! I will definitely be back.

Fantastic tattoo parlor! I have never had a tattoo, but I decided to get permanent eyeliner done for the first time at Heebee Jeebees Studio. The owner, Karen, has been doing permanent makeup, including eyeliner tattoos, for 19 years! Of course, she doesn't do permanent eyeliner every single day, probably every couple of days or every other day. Anyway, she's good. She's really good! I would say that she's the best in Colorado Springs, possibly in all of Colorado. I asked her why she doesn't have permanent eyeliner done, and she told me that it's because she hasn't found anyone else that she trusts well-enough in the Colorado Springs area to do her eyeliner since she can't do it herself (she's done all of her other tattoos, except for that). She used lidocaine numbing cream on my eyes, which made the pain minimal (it kind of felt like slightly pinchy "butterfly kisses" on my eyelids, if that makes sense). If you have done any research on permanent eyeliner, you have probably come across people recommending lidocaine numbing cream over numbing shots on the eyes because the numbing shots can cause swelling and bruising before the tattoo is even placed on the eyelids, which means the results can be uneven and less than satisfactory. Anyway, I just love my permanent eyeliner. Touch-ups are free (included in the price). It's so worth it!

As a military member, it's always a difficult time to find a tattoo place when you get to a new city. I am so glad I looked up 'Top tattoo places in Colorado Springs' and chose Heebee Jeebees. I called asking if they had any Walk-In availability to which they did since someone had to cancel. When I walked in I loved the décor and vibe immediately. Doug got right to work designing my idea. He was amazing. He made sure I was pleased with the design, the size, and the location. The entire staff was friendly and courteous. I am definitely going back and bringing the wife too. I recommend Heebee Jeebees to any and all.

I have gotten 2 tattoos here the first one was the best walked in the artist drew it up and I was out of there in like four hours. The second one that I got is perfect but the customer service wasn't there he didnt seem happy to tattoo barely talked to me the entire time. So I figured I would give them another chance walked in talked to two ladys at the counter told them I wanted a 6 in tattoo showed them what i wanted the one lady wanted to do a huge tattoo which I didn't want. I asked if I could see what she could draw for what I was looking for they said it would take 7 to 9 hours to draw a 6 on tattoo overall their customer service have gone down the drain from the first time I was in there. It was my favorite shop now i gotta find a new one

Got my first tattoo here back in October, been in and out of the hospital since so I haven't had time to review, the person I had tattoo me, while he had a great portfolio, he was so inexperienced or cocky that he scarred me in 3 areas, didn't round 2 corners, made uneven points, and didn't listen to me when I said I had a clearer image of what I wanted, opting instead to work from the one they found online. For $150, I would've expected more care and quality and looking back I wish I had demanded he work more carefully. Overall the tattoo may look good, but getting up close he made so many errors and caused nerve damage in 3 areas, meaning this experience in my opinion, wouldn't even be worth receiving for free.

I made an appointment, have my 80$ deposit and when I came in on my appointment day, the artist hadn’t even drawn up my tattoo or done anything for it. I was waiting an additional hour and a half before we even began preparing. I got the tattoo and after the session was finished, the artist charged me 150$ more than his quote was. I was unprepared, but not too torn up because it took about four hours to finish it. I got it bandaged And I thought all was good. This was not the case. I went into the urgent care two days later because my arm was hurting way differently than any other tattoo I’ve gotten and almost the entire piece is infected the doctor said. I had a miserable recovery, a sub par experience in shop, and I ended up getting an infected tattoo and having to go to a hospital. I will not be returning there for my next piece!

Went to pens and needles to get a quick outline done. They made us wait for about 25 minutes before they told us there was an apt and only one artist. The lady was pretty rude (and I have been there before). So we googled shops near there and found this one (thank goodness)! Barron was awesome! Just wanted a small outline for my sister and I. He fit us in, and was incredibly friendly and professional. Took his time to talk placement with us too, and to give his professional opinion. The shop was clean and my tattoo is healing nicely. He told what to expect and made sure I was doing alright throughout the tattoo. The lady at the front desk helped me figure out an original design for my tattoo, not just something off the internet. Made an appointment for a group of 5 to get the small gumball tattoos months in advance. Even called to confirm it the week of. Got there and the artist there was clearly busy with three service men- which is totally fine we were willing to wait. 30 minutes passed and he hadn't even been greeted. Very sad about that experience as we we're hoping to commemorate our vacation with a tatt from this shop.

Scheduled two appointments, one for my gf at 11 on march 31st and another for myself after. Chris took down the notes of what we wanted on Monday and scheduled us from there. no issues so far. At 11am this morning My girlfriend and I stood outside the shop in the snow for 30 minutes just to be told that we canceled our appointment. Neither My girlfriend or myself has called the shop once. After being told this we were then told that Chris wouldn't be in today and that we needed to reschedule. No thanks. I don't care to have my time wasted when we have both taken off of work to make this happen. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I will be sure that my unit and my brothers in other units know what a joke this place is.

I've been tattooed by Jeff before and I've know her for a long time. But coming in while she's been at this shop was so easy to schedule and I gave her a vague idea of what I wanted and left it at that. She turned my idea into a wonderful drawing and went even above and beyond to create a piece that I absolutely love. Had some issues with the bandage not sticking properly, she gave me the advice I needed and I went back to the shop and (while she was out of town) they took care of me super well. I've told friends about her work but it is so crazy to see how far she's grown as an artist from when she did my last piece to this current one and I'm excited to get more work done by her in the future! Cant say enough about the establishment in itself. Knowledgeable staff and over all the best experience I've had yet.

Needed some custom cover work done ASAP. Dez got me in and taken care of. Customized and drew up each piece to fit perfectly to my needs. Spent 8 long hours drawing them up and tattooing 3 tough pieces. Cannot speak more highly of Dez or this establishment. I have found my new artist. I was told about Dez from others. I had asked 3 other shops if they could do the covers before I tracked down Dez and every other artist just didn’t even bother to call me back. My covers were big black tattoos in tough spots. Other artists seemed to run from the work. Dez took on the job and hammered it out in expedient fashion. Now I have 3 custom pieces I am proud of rather than trying to cover and hide them which was hard to do on my neck and hands. Will be getting a lot more work done by this artist. You want great work you want to show off or have something other artists won’t touch, come see Dez and Heebee Jeebees. He will get it taken care of with the best art in town.

We made an appointment about 3 weeks ahead of time, because we're from Indiana. Get to the shop, and get told that they didn't make the appointment because they didn't get a deposit. We were never asked for a deposit when emailing them. He was already in the middle of a tattoo, told us it would be over 2 hours before they would even start drafting our tattoos that we had sent ideas already. Worst tattoo shop experience. Ever. Guess I'll just stick to my home state tattoos. Thanks for nothing.

Had an appointment for a consultation at 4:30. I showed up and was asked what do you need. I told the gentleman that I had a 430 appointment for a consultation. He had to stop his appointment and after I told him what I was looking for he said well without seeing it I wouldn't be able to quote you a price. First off when I set the appointment I was under the understanding that I would get to sit down with someone and discuss something. Second I'm not an artist you are draw me something. And lastly thank you for wasting my time, I had a series of 4 tattoos that I wanted done and my wife wants her full back tattoo touched up. I didn't care how much the tatto would have cost as long as the quality was good.

Awful. The small tat I wanted done ended up being huge and I had to pay way more for my tat than first agreed on. I also saw another review listing my experience and the owner said they do not have a woman artist on staff. The hell they do! Many new was a woman artist. And my tat was 5 times bigger than we agreed on and cost me 120 more. RIPOFF AND LIES!!!!
