I started getting tattooed by the guys at the long beach location and now they have opened a new location in Costa Mesa not too far from the 405 freeway which is awesome for anyone looking to travel to this shop to get tattooed. They have a full staff of experienced tattooers and come highly recommended. Anyone looking to get a tattoo in Costa Mesa should definitely check out this shop!!

These guys are skilled tattoo artists, not your average run of the mill place. So if your worried about doing it or not sure if you want to, I would advise using Port City. They've been around for a while and they do any awesome job. Great people too! Talk to them, ask them questions, they'll do whatever you need and make it look great

Decided to get a tattoo spontaneously between classes. They open at 11am vs the usual noon opening time so that was super convenient. I called and asked if they did walk ins and they said it was first come first serve. So I headed over and immediately got helped. Everyone was very professional, polite, and kind. Clean shop and a really great vibe. I got tattooed by Stacey and she was great! Did an awesome job. I am very pleased with my tattoo and how I was treated there. Can't wait to go back!!

I was in town for work last weekend, decided to get a tattoo out there. I looked up shops and Port City seemed top notch. Went in on a Saturday with no appointment, guys fit me in later that day. Buzzy tattooed me and did a great job. Everyone was very professional and shop was super clean and comfortable. They stayed late to finish mine and a few other tattoos up. Great group of artists would definitely go back if ever in town.

Walked in to schedule appointment; first time in a tattoo parlor and was surprised by the clean and neat atmosphere. They were very friendly and talented. They took my rough design and made it more beautiful and detailed than I expected. It took about 4 hours and they were patient with me since it was my first time. Pricier than most of the other tattoo parlors I researched but definitely worth it.

I had taken notice of this shop a few times and the great work they do. I am from Utah, and was in town for work. I had a few free hours and wanted some work done. I was a walk in and wanted a really large piece. They were so kind to me, so accommodating. Marc squeezed me into his schedule for a 4 hour sitting that day. These people are the best of the best, and they couldn't be more humble and kind in the process. The shop is super clean and bright. The atmosphere is fun and light, but they are dead serious about doing fantastic work. I couldn't be happier with my new ink! Thank you so much Marc and team!! You killed it. I will be back!!

I originally located PCT on Yelp!...took my time to look at all the artist's styles and artwork that was posted there, I also crept on the ones that had IG. I ended up with Buzzy Jenkins...quite possibly the chillest dude I have ever met. I had a tattoo that I got when I was about 17...and at 26 I realized that it had to go. I reached out to Buzzy and stopped by a few days before my appointment so that he could check out the job. A few days later I came in and was just blown away by what he had come up with...my old tattoo is now non-existent. Buzzy is the go-to man with a knack for art. It seemed that every time I asked him about the art on the wall, it was his...just a sick sense of style and a creative mind...If you are looking for your first tattoo or your 100th, this place is comfortable, clean, and welcoming. I couldn't be more happy with the work he did, he was so nice and humble, he executed the design with not much direction from me. I just wanted him to do something he would enjoy doing because I trust his artistic skills and as I expected.... He drew out absolute perfection! Tattooed it to perfection as well! I LOVE my tattoo and I get so many compliments. He was so comforting while I was in pain and helped me get through it till the end (I'm a wimp)...... Thank you Marc and Port City for giving me the best tattoo & service. I give him and this shop a review of 20 stars! Can't wait to go back!

My wife and I went into Port City with an idea of what we wanted for my newest tattoo but, given that neither of us has any artistic ability, no good drawing. However, our tattoo artist, Jesse, was patient and took all of our inputs into consideration before drawing up exactly what we were thinking. He was even able to incorporate my wife's handwriting into the tattoo which was important to us. I appreciated how courteous and professional everyone at the shop was and how clean and open the whole place was. I think it says a lot when you feel like you're in more of an art gallery than a tattoo parlor when getting your ink done and that was the impression I got at Port City in Costa Mesa. I will definitely be returning for more work in the future.

Was referred here by a coworker after searching around a few local shops and not being satisfied with what I was finding. Especially with this being my first tattoo. But after being told about Port City Tattoo I decided to stop by and that's where I met Carlos (Los). Los was super friendly and very open minded to what I wanted done which was a geometric solar system. I felt very comfortable and welcomed and knew this was the place to get my tattoo done. On the day of the tattoo I had some last minute changes but Los was able to get them made on the spot. The tattoo came out better than I could have ever imagined. I can't thank Los enough for the amazing work. I will definitely be back in to see him for my next tattoo!

He did an awesome job on my sugar skull. Super clean and very detailed. The artist next to me was also doing a sugar skull for another client. That tattoo turned out equally great. I feel like you can get a great tattoo from every artist in this shop. The shop itself is very clean with an old school vibe. Very pleased with the overall experience. I will definitely return for my next tattoo.
