My grandkids wanted henna tattoos. They told them to go down the road.
Everyone needs to get there tat here.
I got a belly piercing here I’d post a video but it was infected within the first day after I cleaned it really good for about a week it got so infected I had to take it out. Had to re-pierce it myself and actually I did a better job it was actually straight and no infections and it’s been a month. So so far I was not impressed with them it was some new guy or something just not impressed. Never going back...:(
They were fast and professional when giving me my second percing. Would reccomend.
Exquisite artists, who display their persononal pride and quality with the performance of their personona, and artwork they strategically place on each individual. However, the owner has a peoblem with adding his own hidden agenda inside your tattoo. I personally do not like what he hid in mine. Plus I got a terrible infection.
Very clean and professional. Got a simple tattoo at a very reasonable price, and our artist was so talented and hilarious. We had an exquisite time telling stories and sharing many laughs.
Everybody there was really nice and helpful. Very clean. My wife and I both got two tattoos and they were better than we ever expected. Mark is an awesome artist. I never thought that I would have a tattoo this good and he gave me two of them. Can't say enough good things about them. Mark is the only person that I want tattoos from from now on.
Very bad. Went to shop and got told to go to the "other location" and the guy there wrecked my ankle. He even used a stencil with a VERY EASY design. A toddler could trace that stencil better. Way overpriced, and the guy said all tattooing is just "stencil" work. Also very unmotivated and was watching netflix while working.
Got my first tattoo and i love it the tattooist did amazing and kept asking me if i was ok or if i need a break. It took about 2 1/2 hours. I would definitely recommend this tattoo shop if anyone want a tattoo.
I would give 5 stars but I told dude I didn't care for one of the colors & he said it would look better in a couple days...well it didn't so I'll have to pay someone else to do what he should have done in the first place.
I was wanting to get my belly button pierced before leaving Branson to head home on a 9 hr trip... got there around 11:50am and knew i would have to wait, thats not a big deal. 12pm and still no one... 12:15pm still no one.. if you are going to post hours, then stick to them... i was really looking foward to it, since i saw the great reviews. Oh well. Better luck next time.
My tattoo was cheaply priced but great quality! I was very happy with it and will go back there for all of my other tattoo or piecing needs!!!
Been contemplating a couples TAT with my beloved. So on weekend getaway with our favorite travellining couple who started the idea I decided to pull in and check it out. Now I am 55 and never had TAT. Mark at house of ink was great. Helped us select what we wanted, worked with us since we didn't have appt. All 4 of us got inked. I am no expert but our tats came out great!. The service was exceptional. Great experience now scratched off my bucket list and a memory we will have for a lifetime. Special thanks to Mark for being patient, helpful and providing terrific artwork. If you are thinking about getting inked strongly suggest you check house of ink out. You won't be disappointed.
I got a henna the other day and payed $30 for it and it’s already coming off!
We went with the intention of finding Henna tattoos for my 13 and 10 year old girls. We had no idea that this place is a famous tattoo (real) business. Lol They were so nice, respectful, and gave our delighted girls very detailed Henna tattoos for a VERY affordable price! Two small to large tattoos for about 30 bucks. My hubby and I will return later for our real ones.
Always a fantastic visit!
I chose to get my tattoo at House of Ink at the salon that is located on the second floor of the building so as not to get mixed up with the other locations in Branson. My artists name was Richard and he was extremely rude. He repeatedly referred to my friends and I as "money". He tried talking several other people I was with into getting tattoos also, because he "wanted their money". He put up a fuss with me when I told him what I wanted and tried changing my mind many times before I finally told him that if he wouldn't do it, I would leave. He talked to my friends and I like we were children, he made snarky comments and remarks the entire time we were there. His prices were way too high considering the poor customer service I received and his coworker, who was still an apprentice, also charged rediculous amounts considering that he did not have his license yet. I got my tattoo done, which was a simple arrow, but the lines are crooked, the fletchings on the end don't match up and the point is uneven. It took a maximum of 20 minutes and he complained the entire time, rushed through it and when I pointed out anything that I felt needed touched up he proceeded to tell me that I was "too picky" and a "pain in the ass". I paid and left immediately. I will never return to House of Ink. Richard was rude and condesending, all the while obviously lacking in the customer service area and his skills as an artist did not impress me. I am now forever stuck with a tattoo that quite frankly, sucks. I am very disappointed. Save yourself the time, money, and trouble by choosing a different tattoo shop!
Rude customer service and VERY unprofessional! I called about getting my daughters cartilage pierced, show up and Mark says he's in the middle of a tattoo and to come back in 30-45 minutes! He CLEARLY sees us sitting there with our daughter, NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT! It's a school night and my wife works until 9:30pm EVERY NIGHT! Walmart and Claire's is closed by then! Come back 45 minutes later and Mark says his piercing limit is 14! BEING THAT MY DAUGHTER WAS THERE BEFORE IT IS CLEAR SHE IS NOT 14 YET HE SAYS TO COME BACK! He was not only rude the first time but ESPECIALLY RUDE THE SECOND TIME IN FRONT OF MY 9 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER! Some parents work for a living and have to do what they can when they have the time, in my case it's after 9:30pm and DONT expect to have guys like Mark be rude, say to combs just in 30-45 minutes and then TALK THE WAY HE DID IN FRONT OF A CHILD!! BAD BUSINESS AND A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS!! Mark says he's the store manager so good luck to anyone who chooses to go to this place because I've never seen or been to somewhere so unprofessional!!!
Awesome!
Chana did my first tattoo on Nov. 8, 2014. Great job with it. Very professional and a pressure to talk too. My wife got her first one the day before at the same shop (the one by Wal-Mart) from a different artist. I hope to get her second one done this Nov. 7th, 2015 by Chana. Anything I ever get with lettering in it will go to her. My next one will be offered to her first if she feels she can do it to my design (I believe she can) but trust her to tell me if another artist will be able to do it better. Though I have only met two of their artists so far, Chana is the one I will trust first and foremost with any life long body art I get.
DILLON WAS VERY GOOD AND HELPFUL, MY TATTOO IS PERFECT, I LOVE IT... YOU DID AN AWESOME JOB, MY HUSBAND JUST LOVED IT TOO... THANKS DILLON, WILL BE BACK SOON TO GET ANOTHER...SUSAN
My husband and I have been going here for many years And love every thing we have received from them. They do amazing work.
I love my tattoo they did a great job however I'm only rating them 4 stars because it was not very professional they weren't very friendly and there was a bunch of kids running around.
I've had all of my ink done here. Talented artists, and clean shops.
Man awesome place to get a tat. My artist name was Travis he worked his ass off on my tat cover up. Which he did a amazing job so damn good I bought my son a tat the same day. For his first tat I give high marks for Travis fair pricing and great work. Thanks Travis for providing outstanding service.
They did a great job for me and my daughter
Great atmosphere. Loved Mark and Jason. Very professional and friendly. Will be back.
Amazing! Matt was amazing
They were very good with my daughter when they pierced her nose.
After having a horrible experience at another tattoo shop in town we decided to go to house of ink! They were super helpful and kind. They gave us exactly what we wanted and we really loved the atmosphere!!! If you’re going to get a tattoo in Branson definitely go to this place!!!
Very nice, made sure we saw what we were getting before they started. Great work! Very pleased.
When I lived in Reeds Spring, MO I did a lot of PC work for House OF Ink. When I moved back to WI, I decided to get a tattoo before I left. House of Ink did this tattoo on Nov 30th, 2010. This was my first time tattoo. They did an excellent job, When I go back to Branson anytime to visit and I'm in need of another tattoo House of Ink will always get my business. I would highly recommend them as they have years of experience. When I lived in Reeds Spring, MO I did a lot of PC work for House OF Ink. Told it was free then had to pay
rude and sad people! the place is extremely outdated and cluttered / unclean. and those who work there are too cool for school! They are not interested what you want or who you are. and they are EXTREMELY slow!
Nice shop good prices and staff are cool and get ya in and out and everything looks good 10/10
Matt did a great job !!!!
They squeezed me in on a tight schedule and did a fantastic job on my piercing.
So this weekend me and my friend went to Branson for the weekend and I wanted a tattoo. This place is fabulous! I had mark and he was so kind to me and talked me through it and the lady at the desk was very sweet as well! The place is clean and well put together. I highly recommend coming here.
Very friendly staff, welcomed our group of people without hesitation (we had made an appointment, don't worry) they did a great job, and my 5 year old niece even got a henna tattoo while we got our real tattoos!
Very nice people and a very clean place
Great place to get a tattoo! My husband and I both got tattoos that day and they were wonderful. This was my husband first tattoo and they were awesome.
Got a simple tattoo, my son's name in Old English on tricep/upper shoulder. My artist placed the stencil and allowed me to look at it in the mirror. It looked good. Then, he said it was off center and wiped it off. He reapplied the stencil and started tattooing without me looking at it again. Needless to say, he placed my tattoo way off of center. Now I'm having it removed and will have it redone by a legit shop in Springfield.
I was visiting Branson for a 2 week vacation and thought I should get a tattoo, so I came here. They were pretty good and friendly. Kind of awkward whenever you walked in, but after a little while it gets better. Lol Resonably priced as well. I got a 2 inch rose on my wrist and had it partially filled for $70. Not too bad. Love it. ☺️
Friendly, wonderful and super down to earth. I got my nose pierced and my husband got a pretty decent sized tattoo on his forearm. We plan on making our way back up to Branson to get more done. Highly recommend!
My daughter and i both got tattoos on the 16th of June it was her first tatoo n her 16th birthday. Mark was amazing talking to her . its a awesome place n friendly people we will be back i am sure
I went in there without an appointment, the staff was super friendly they got me in without waiting. My tattoo turned out exactly how I wanted it and they even offered free touch ups. I also have gotten my nose and belly button pierced there and my sister got her industrial. Nothing bad to say about this place.
We had such a great experience. Jack was AWESOME. He knew what he was doing, and made you laugh and feel at ease. I recommend this place if ever in Branson
Awesome service fantastic artwork created
I came in to get my septum pierced and the person who initially helped me (it was a walk-in) was very friendly, but unfortunately I didn't get his name. He told me the piercer was doing a tattoo and it might be about an hour before he's free but gave me a card and told me to call in 30-45 minutes. I came back about 40 minutes later and told the initial worker I was back, he said the piercer was ready and just had to get everything set up, took my ID/info and said he'd be out in a minute. I didn't have to wait long. Once I was back there, the piercer Marcus Murphy had a bit of an attitude from the get-go, probably because I had never been pierced before (except ears) and I guess that makes me subordinate somehow. He was very careful with cleaning so I thought he'd do a good job, he was wearing gloves but in retrospect it irks me that the tools were not cleaned in front of me. So he feels around in my nose and puts the clamp on and I guess I winced because he said "Don't worry, this is the most painful part" uhmmmm no sweetie, it wasn't. It didn't feel right to me, but like I said I've never had my nose pierced so I didn't know and wasn't going to tell him how to do his job. Obviously I've felt around in my own nose before in preparation for this piercing and I know there's enough space for a clamp to be put up there without hitting cartilage, but I digress. He proceeded to put the needle in and seemed to be struggling, then tried to put the jewelry through and stopped halfway through and kind of just looked around the room so I said "is there a problem?" And he said "yeah I lost contact with the needle when I was trying to put the ring in" ....what? So he gave me the option of either being refunded in full for the $50 plus tip I had already paid or trying again. I was already there, already in pain and bloodied up so I decided to just try again. Same thing, except he told me to lay down this time: puts clamp on, shoves needle through (quite meatily this time), tries to put jewelry in, stops. I ask what's going on, he said something like "it isn't working" or whatever. Cleans out my nose with alcohol, hands me a paper towel and says "there's a mirror over there if you want to clean yourself up" like a bad one-night stand lmao. Anyway, he refunds my money and kind of brushes me off after this point, I don't think I heard an apology bc I'm pretty sure I would remember that, would have been nice. He didn't tell me anything about how to clean the holes to prevent infection or how long to wait for the holes to heal before trying again. I had to ask what happened because I want to get this piercing and I need to know what went wrong so I can tell the next piercer, initially he said I'd have to ask for a "14" because the one he tried to use was too small, then I asked while being refunded to confirm and he said "no I used a 14, you'll have to go a size up because you have a lot of cartilage in your septum." None of this makes any sense to me, if I had too much cartilage, wouldn't I need a size smaller? His story changed and I think that's because he messed up and needed to make up an excuse that took the blame off of him. Anyway, it's been a few days and it was tender for a while but I've been cleaning it with saline and it seems to be healing fine and is less painful every day, hardly noticeable now. I will never ever come back here, the only way I'd let a friend come here is if they knew their piercer/artist personally and trusted them and/or had used them before. TL;DR: came in for a septum piercing, got nasally violated, left in a confused haze of shame and disappointment
Took my daughter here to get her first tattoo. I also had my fourth tattoo done as well. Can't say enough about how patient and helpful Nathan was while we made final decisions on what my daughter wanted. His work is AMAZING and would recommend anyone that wants a beautiful, meaningful, piece of art, to go and see Nathan. He took his time and worked on making sure it was exactly what we wanted and hoped for.
What an awesome guy was Dilion, he really made our quick experience one to remember. If your in town go see him. I know my tattoo is small but with alot of meaning!
Friendly artist, did great job. Good price
I've gotten 2 tattoos from here. Both times the staff was very friendly and patient. They didn't rush me to pick exactly what and where and were more than happy to accommodate any special request I had! I will be back!
Walked in 2 hours befor close and they wouldn’t even make eye contact or help us. Pass.
Best ink and prices around 2 convenient locations!
Super friendly staff and able to accommodate us on short notice. Will definitely be going back!
I too highly recommend Mark. He and the staff are friendly, and yes a nice relaxed environment. Great work!
My class and I had our senior trip in Branson Missouri. My best friend and I decided to go get our first tattoos done. From the moment we walked into the shop from the time we walked out we loved it! Jack was our artist and he was as friendly as could be and did a hell of a job!
I had the best experience here! Mark was able to stretch my belly button piercing and gave me a sparkly ring! He was very professional / clean and super nice, and did I mention affordable!! I will be going back to get my tragus piercing! I can't wait!!
Got my first tattoo here. Staff was talented, facility clean and very happy with my tattoo

Such a great and welcoming place! Mark was a gem and very professional! He did an amazing job and worth every penny!!
Absolutely love this place live about two hours away and will always come here for my tattoo needs!!
Great people. Nice work
First tattoo ever, had just one letter and a symbol to do and 3/4 of it bled out making the lines horrible. Not fixable at all. Could have recommended friends who wanted tattoos but will definitely have them go somewhere else
Absolutely recommend House of Ink the were very courteous and friendly and they did an outstanding job on my tattoo! If you're looking for a tattoo shop in the Branson area I highly recommend House of Ink!
My boyfriend and i walked into house of ink in Branson. We had travis as our artist and he did a spectacular job. If i could post the picture i would. If you in town (branson, mo) and need a good tattoo go to house of ink and ask for travis.
Love, love, love my new tattoo! Thank you, Mark, for free handing my sons name because the "templates" weren't what I wanted. (The pic I posted is 4 days post tat) I love how the small letters are easily visible, nice, clean and small lines. To the other reviews about age; no offense to the author, but I applaud any business that will allow their moral compass to rule and turn down easy money. Makes me more confident that they will be honest with me. I would also like to add that, as a nurse, I was very happy watching Marks aseptic technique (and obviously his use of sterile equipment). 6 stars!
When in Branson this is the place to go. Nice atmosphere. Friendly people. Very clean. Walked in with an idea and they listened to what I wanted and turned my idea into an amazing tattoo. They immediately went to work. Ask for Jack. I loved his work!
Awesome place with a great atmosphere and great quality of art and work.
The people here are amazing. Understood what we wanted and gave great advice. Very happy with the work we got done.
Very friendly, had a great experience if I lived here I would come back but I am just on vacation.
There isnt an Artist here that isnt completley talented. Theres a guy with long blonde hair tatted head to toe Named Mark Murphy. Hes gotta be one of the most unique and cool dudes ive ever met. Highly recommended!
This was an awesome experience that mad made memories that will last a lifetime! Jessica made the experience wonderful!!
My son got his first tattoo last night we had a great time we made appointment and they got us right in the did amazing job on all 3 of us we highly recommend them and will be back they are very friendly clean and all work together and have a good time it is a 5 star for us
Absolutely love my new tattoo! Super friendly staff, and relaxed environment. Would one hundred percent do again and I will certainly return in the future.
Mark was the best at our piercings and tattoo! He had a great personality and was very welcoming!! I would highly recommend Mark for any tattoos or piercings. We will definitely be back!!
Was told to pay for tattoo prior to getting it. Simple tattoo, but turned out uneven. Left with a paper towel on it. Not impressed. Very disappointed.
I did a walk in on a saturrday afternoon, Dillon the owner, worked very quick, but finished the tattoo and it looks great! it was a very friendly environment, and a pretty inexpensive tat. He did it in like an hour in a half, but i was quoted 4-500 at a few places in STL, and Dillon only charged me 3.
Cool place
They set my son and I an appointment with Dillon (I believe is his name) he got us in and out and did great work! I highly recommend this place. Also did not charge us an arm and a leg to do the tattoos.very clean environment also!
They are very friendly people and they definitely know what there doing I Absolutely love love love my tattoo its exactly what I wanted and my fiance loves his too and we will definitely be coming back for more!! So if you want your tattoo to rock I'd go see them for sure !
This place was clean and professional as I would expect a tattoo and piercing shop to be. (I have walked in and right back out of some that have not been.) They were also quite personable and friendly. They greeted every person who walked thru the door and assisted with anything they needed. I was there to get my daughter's nose pierced. The artist was kind and helpful and made her and I very comfortable. We drove 3 hours to get there and after our positive experience I would recommend them to anyone and make that drive again.
Would have left no stars if I could have, stated they were open at 12 but weren't, so we went to Riggs Monster Tattoo, and you just lost 300 dollars!
I had my belly button pierced here a while back, and I recommend this place to anyone wanting a piercing! I'm planning on going back soon to get my anti-eyebrow piercing!!
They did an awesome job and I plan on getting all of my tattoos done here
The guy did a great job on David's tattoo.
Friendly staff. Great place to get a tattoo. Fun atmosphere!
