My fiancee and I did our research and decided this looked like the best place to go to get our tattoos redone. It's an added bonus that the shop is so close to our house. I would drive hours to have Ernie as my artist. My back tattoo was horribly done and after my first session I already love what hes transformed it into. The whole experience has been great. There's a reason they're the best! Customer service is second to none and they do an amazing job of making you as comfortable as possible wether you're there for a tattoo or just a consult.

I can not say enough good about my experience. I called a head and asked if they could fit me in. the manager Fallon, and I hope I spelled that right said yes if I could hurry they could get me in. Scared me at first because I didn’t want a rushed tattoo. More on that later. I showed her what I wanted and told her what I had to spend. We showed it to the artist(Rick) and he said let me try and do better for what I had to spend. I sat thinking while he drew it up this is going to not be what I want. After he spent considerable time drawing it up, he shows me this drawing that was mind blowing. Rick explained to me about how he would shade it and add to it. At this point I didn’t think they could ever get it done before they closed. That made no difference. Rick stayed until it was done which was way after closing and I never felt as if he was rushing to finish it. Time didn’t seem to matter but quality certainly did. As far as the rest of the staff goes, everyone was very friendly and professional. The music that was being played was a real plus. I read the couple of bad reviews and had to laugh. I have had many tattoos and have never been treated with such first class service. This is a custom shop. Not a cut and paste. My tattoo is far beyond what I expected. This is a first class operation and the talent is second to none. Even those guys on TV. I would recommend this shop to everyone one I know. And Rick as an artist is a true artist. Quality of work was worth way more than what I payed. Thank you Top Rocker. My new shop.

I am a major researcher and scoured the internet for an artist in the area who bled talent, because let's be real, I have commitment issues haha. Enter Ernie. His work and demeanor are amazing, bar none. Even when inside the studio, the other artists are friendly and not dismissive. For anyone who comments on price -- quality, service, price -- pick 2 because you can't usually have all 3. The studio is literally a destination for me because of it's location compared to mine, and I'd still go back time and time again. Highly recommend if you want high quality work.

The wife had an itch to get a new tattoo for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger. Walked in the front door and was immediately greeted by the front desk where she answered all of the questions and even better when said she could get her in that night as a walk-in. Rick did an awesome job designing something custom for her that was sentimental relation to our children. He did a great job with his work, well above what I expected was going to be done. I'll definitely be going back to get some work done myself by the end of the year.

Love this place and the artists. The owner Ernie gave me my first tattoo 16 years ago and it still looks like the day it was done. Then artist Tommy Robertson and I have been working on a Star Wars body suite a couple years ago.... we have completed about 30% of it and i couldn't be any more happier. I included some photos in the review. i've taken a little break for the winter but starting back up this summer and I CANT WAIT to see what Tommy as drawn out for me. He really is a tattoo genius. Not only is his art work AMAZING but he is GREAT at fitting different pieces together and making everything flow smoothly. He know just the right colors to put together and what will work with each other. You really need to see this guy if you want something involving pop culture because its important to know back stories of the art work the artist is tattooing so they can come up with unique ideas.... and this guy KNOWS HIS STUFF! When me and my dad first went in to get tattoos, Tommy greeted us. He was real easy to talk to and explain what we were looking for in our tattoos. When we arrived for our appointment, Tommy had drawn up our designs and showed them to us, they were what we wanted. He did a great job and was very friendly. He made sure to shade my tattoo with what he thought would look best. While we were there the other artists were also very helpful. I’d definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for tattoos, very reasonably priced as well.

New to the state, let alone the valley. Walked into Top Rocker Tattoo from the street curious to see how much a cover up tattoo was. Made me feel at home. I was comfortable and that can be difficult at other tattoo parlors I've been into. Facility is new and clean. Customer service was out of this world. Artist Duck gave me a bad a** tattoo. Detailed. Very thorough. Ernie is the owner and is a nice person overall. And a great artist! Just check out the photo albums for yourself. Fallon took care of the front desk duties and she is really cool and also nice. She also does microblading for eyebrows and heard she's the best in the Phoenix area. This place is clean, and friendly. They did my piercing quickly, and provided me with written instructions to take home. And their number in case I had problems. They were very reasonable, actually quite cheap, for the piercing that I wanted. I have migraines, and had heard that getting your daith(part of the ear) pierced can help. I believe it did. Some shops charge up to $80. They charged $10. I highly recommend this shop!!

Not only were they friendly and helpful they did amazing work, and stayed late to finish up. RICK!!!!! Rick’s the best! He is straight up and honest, clean, and does art to perfection. Three of us came in with rough ideas for a matching tattoo at a very last minute (literally right before they closed) and he drew it up, adjusted to every request and told us when it would be too detailed for the size, going away from what we were originally looking at, and if it was too busy in certain spots, etc. without ANY rush. He made sure that we were POSITIVE about the placement and redid the stencil without any frustration, etc. I’ve been to other tattoo places where they have serious attitude about placement or changing drawings. This was an amazing experience! Also, Duck did one of our and his art is AMAZING as well. :)

I had a tattoo that was done 19 years ago and as I've aged the lines ran together making it look like a home made tat. I've went to several tatto o places and no one would touch it. They said it would only make it worse. As soon as I walked in and showed Ernie he had a solution and he was confident that he could fix the mess someone else made. When a kid comes into get a tattoo and has an idea. One of the first things an experienced tattoo parlor does is ask price range. You do not just take a deposit do the drawing then tell him it’s 600.00 after the fact. It was the kids first tattoo and I sent him there because I knew the artist. When the kid couldn’t afford it given the fact he was not properly informed ahead of time. You show him what he can get for the cost and make it right. You do not try to keep the deposit as if he should have known. You do not me disrespectful and tell him or my daughter that they are trash and can’t get steak on a cheeseburger budget. If the service would have been 5 stars like u claim. You would have told him ahead of time the price. You would have never talked to him, my daughter, or my wife that way. They only called to get the deposit back and would try later when he had more spending cash. You took a embarrassing moment for a kid and made it worse. You lady are trash and I will not be sending any business your way. Garbage.

I've been there a bunch of time and every time the receptionist Fallon was very friendly and nice about making appointments in. She makes the experience fun. Ernie the tattoo artist is a great artist and is great at coverup and has a very steady hand and can make very amazing details that make every piece pop. He helped me with a coverup I had gotten, I got a $13 dollar tattoo for Halloween and i regretted it a bunch until I got a coverup and after I was happy with the results.

The artists I had, shocked me saying that I need the money 1st ($400 and I didn't have the money, he tried to convince me over and over that his artwork was the 100$ deposit and he just said it over and over and over while I said I have no money. I told him over and over and over and over I was Broke. He was getting upset because there was some idea he drew. The boss had to calm him down and approve I be given a single part done. I was making sure that he did a good job and one of the symbols book for $100) I got a symbol that is no bigger than a quarter so thankfully the job that he did was good and he was professional enough to work through it, but there needs to be a better communication between artist and client. I appreciate your shop and everything else but just a little bit upset as I was told the $100 was a tattoo only added to the last appointment which would be able to start my outline but then when I got there he adrip drawn art and one or the $100 just for that and in the end I got just a little bit of a tattoo on my wrist rather than the ones we'd predicted hopefully in the future just can tell people what they're doing when they're being charged because I was quite aghast that for doing that but I could be wrong. because I've been fighting cancer but I had never paid that much for a small tattoos. Its unfortunate.

We went in to talk to someone and Rick jumped right on creating the perfect tattoo for his memory. We showed him a vague idea and the outcome was beyond expectations. It was my sisters first tattoo and Rick was so awesome with her, he talked to us the whole time, made sure that we took a break if we needed it, and was an all around awesome guy. The shop is super clean and even just between us, everything was completely sanitized. They take their jobs seriously and have a passion for their art. I'm so glad we found them and know we'll be going back to Rick in the future!!!

The artist Rick took his time and was really nice. Everyone loves my tattoo that I’ve shown so far. Rick will be the person that does my next tattoo when I am ready again.
