My Wife found Sinful Skin after much searching and reading reviews. Rick did a beautiful purple rose on her arm about a year ago. it still amazes me when i look at it. So i went to Rick with a custom cross design. He first consulted with me on what would work and what we should avoid. He re-worked my design and we went ahead. the finished product is beautiful. i could not not be happier. The Shop is clean and very comfortable to be in. It had to be for my Wife to go there alone. Great attention to detail and customer comfort. I cant wait to get back for more work!!!!

My sister and I went there for a nose piercing today. The person who helped us was very unwelcoming. Asked if we planned on swimming in the next 6 months and what side we would be sleeping on..if we didn't know they couldn't help us..not stating the reason why we should wait but that we can't help you...so off to somewhere else. We are full grown adults and know the risks but we're treated like idiots.

They were clean, by the book, very friendly, and made the experience comfortable for both of us. Wow. What a great bunch of people. The inside is so clean, you can smell the cleaning solution in the air as you walk in. Everything is bright and shiny and they work with you on exactly what you want. Came in on 10/6/12 at about 830pm and was done around 930pm. Definitely recommend.

Went here for my first tattoo. Explained what I wanted and was given clear and thorough expectations of pain level, time to complete the job and after care instructions. Showed artist (Joey) what I was thinking, talked through design, and we tweaked the sample once to be exactly what I wanted. Artist was precise, careful and very considerate of how I was doing through the process. Clean shop. Great guys. Affordable work. Highly recommend the shop and the artist Joey!! Love my tattoo!!

I researched this shop for a couple of weeks and then I had Joey tattoo my partner and her sister. The experience we had was amazing. I had deemed this shop the one that I would always go to. Today, my partner and I walked into the shop and sadly Joey was busy but pointed us in the direction of another guy that worked there. He walked out and just seemed like he had not energy or want. We showed him the tattoo that we wanted and he immediately said that I was impossible to do. We then showed him our second choice and he himed and hawed over that one too. Once I showed him the third version of a tattoo and he said that it was impossible to tattoo without having to outline everything in black, we walked out. From the time that we were introduced to this artist we had the feeling that he just did not care and was not willing to talk to us on tattoo ideas. His answer to everything is That can not be done or It wont look good so no. I suggest if you choose to go into this shop, ask for Joey and if he is busy WALK OUT.

So I came in for my industrial and possible orbital. The lady asked how old I was and I told her I was 17, (I don’t live with my parents and I already graduated high school and started college last year). She immediately shut me down saying she doesn’t do those specifically on minors and didn’t give me a reason. I said okay thinking i’d be able to just leave, but she kept talking to me. I’m not somebody who is rude so I just stood there and dealt with it. I had my hair tucked behind my right ear, not the ear i wanted it on, she just glanced at it and told me I can’t get it because I don’t have the ears for it either. She said because I have zero prior piercings that I didn’t understand the up keep if it all and how to do it at all. I have my lobes, my web under my tongue and had my nose done as well for awhile but took it out. I also had 00 gauges before and it took them VERY long to heal so I told her that I kind of understand how it goes and she continuously told me how I wasn’t old enough to handle the up keep which, to me, was very insulting. She told me she’d do my conch, but not my orbital because the healing processes are different. I did some research and it takes 3-6 months for your orbital (if taken care of correctly )and up to a YEAR for your conch, so I’m hoping she was confused because she told me that my orbital takes up to a year to heal. I don’t know why she felt the need to continuously talk to me about it and be condescending, but I took it like a champ. I understand if you don’t feel comfortable doing it, but let me leave after that’s established. Don’t stand in front of me and talk my ear off about it. I wasted a decent amount of time standing there listening to her tell me things I already knew. I didn’t go in there having zero clue about what I was getting or doing. The rest of the staff was very polite and nice, but I’ll probably go else where so I don’t have to listen to that lady again.

Owen wasted so much of our time that once he was finally ready, we got lucky and a recent customer of his came in asking if he (Owen, the artist) would pay for his laser removal. That's right, after saying we would be done in two hours, he hadn't even started in three hours. Then stopped to talk to yet another person who luckily saved us from a lifetime of regret. At the same time, the owner ,aaron, ended up having an opening. I asked if he could sketch a simple boat for my forearm, as long as it's original. He has his drawing done in ten minutes, comes back up front and I say "I like it, let's go." Right then, my husband has decided not to get a tattoo from Owen not only because of the other customer, but because now he didn't have time. So I put down a deposit and say I'll be back. I get home, Google sailboat drawings, the "original" he had drawn me was literally the first image. Another dodged bullet. Never ever going there.

Rick just completed my half sleeve and I absolutely love it. I had two older tattoos I had to incorporate into the piece and Rick did an amazing job designing a unique tattoo around my ideas so it would flow into the older tattoos. From the start of the tattoo I was very impressed. Ricks lines were clean and crisp. When he moved into the coloring, I was really excited because it was so well done and absolutely beautiful. I sat through six sessions and Rick always keep me apprised of what he was doing and made sure we were on the same page. He is a truly talented artist and I can't wait to get my next tattoo from him. The other artists are pretty amazing as well. My husband got a very cool traditional ship from Aaron and worked with him on the drawing to get it just right. I also got to see some other work the guys did while sitting through my sessions - all of them are very talented...and very professional. They really care about the quality of their work. If you're looking for a good tattoo shop, you will be VERY happy with this one.

About a month ago I came here to get a piercing looked at that I got done at a different studio. Ana took me back without hesitation, changed out my piercing for me and educated me on how to correctly clean it, help get rid of keloids, and keep it from getting infected. I recently went back because my ear wasn’t having it with the piercing, Ana and I decided it would be best to take out the jewelry and let it heal. Ana helped me more and educated me more about my piercing in less than 20 minutes than my original piercer did. Sinful Skin has an amazing environment, friendly staff and everyone is very very helpful. And to add, Ana is amazing, making her clients feel safe and calm, talking them through what she does and educating them so they know how to take care of their new piercing correctly. Anyone going to or looking to get a piercing I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to Ana!!

First of all my Rating isn't at all meant for the work they do! In fact the piercer that normally took care of me is a very cool guy! Sadly he wasn't there today! So it all started today, I walked into the Shop because i needed my piercing beet changed out. I walked in with my Son and there stood this blond older lady ( hair about shoulder length) in the front of the shop. The first thing that i noticed was how she gave me this judgmental look because i brought in my 7 year old son with me. ( Yes i brought him into the store because he was out of school today and my son goes pretty much everywhere with me because he is my responsibility and he is also a very well behaved child). Anyways i let it slide and said Hello! Well i didn't get a hello in return which in my Opinion is very rude especially if you work where you have to deal with Clients which are customers! What ever i let that slide as well! So i approached her and ask if the piercer was in. She, i guess did not understand my question or my slight accent which isn't heavy! She looked at me rude and ask Piercings? ? No, I do know you guys sell piercings because you are in fact a tattoo and piercing shop!! She turned around after i corrected her and ask again if there piercer was in. Some other guy told me he isn't in today. I left and while we started driving my son said : " Mommy this lady wasn't very nice in my opinion". Sorry i am not normally a person that writes bad reviews but her attitude needs to be adjusted in my opinion! Needles to say i went to another Place to get my Frenulum beet changed out. Since i wasn't going to want to see her face again! Anyways other then that i always had a good exp. with the shop.

Very professional artist and clean shop. I gave them a basic picture of a wolf and a moon and they came up with something I never even imagined. My artist was Owen and he did my first tattoo back in September. His line work is clean and straight and his attention to detail is remarkable. He also has a light hand in my opinion. I just moved from Chicago to Glendale and I was so glad to find a place like this! I got my rook changed here about a week ago and Cooley was very helpful and professional. I even shaked his hand after he put his sanitary gloves on (my bad!) and he put a new one on (I’ve seen piecers at other locations before use a computer and their phones with gloves on before piercing people!). Amazing. From the cleanliness to the artists, this place is amazing. Walked in and was immediately greeted despite the guy being in the middle of a tattoo. For what I wanted, he actually took the time to recommend a fellow artist that was booked a couple weeks out. It was refreshing to see they didn't just want to take my money and do some ink, they paired me with an artist whose style would best suit my imagery. After 20 hours on my piece, in multiple sessions, I could not be happier with the outcome. Beautiful tattoos done at Sinful Skin! Highly recommend this shop.

Came here first to make our tattoo appointments and ended up getting pierced by Cooley and he did an awesome job, totally clean and quick and overall a good job. The week after I got tattooed by Aaron and he exceeded my expectations. Had great conversation and was totally easy to vibe with while he was clean and really took attention to every detail in my tattoo and it turned out beyond amazing, it’s now my new favorite tattoo. The next day I went back with my dad and sister who both got tattoos from Tayler and they were so happy with the way their tattoos turned out. Again he was clean and my dad said he truly had a great experience and a lot of fun getting tatted by him (coming from someone who I thought was never going to get a tattoo ever). We will all definitely be returning for all our tattoos/piercings from now on!

I never wanted to get my first ribcage tattoo in Chicago, that's where I'm originally from. I took a 10 day vacation to peoria AZ with my girlfriend to visit her mother. So 2 days before heading back to Chicago my girl and I were looking up nearest tattoo shops. And we found this one! We called and the man was nice, great customer service no appointment needed for me i guess. My artist was Owen I believe. Cool dude with some sick tats on him. I'm happy I found this experience great! Friendly staff clean and organized. I will come back soon! I'll recommend this place to anyone. Keep the good work up guys!!!

Worth the drive and every penny! At the time I lived on 16th Street and Indian school rd even being far the drive isn't bad since the shop is right off the freeway. Aaron is an amazing tattoo artist and helped me. He helped me get exactly what I wanted. I had my daughter's foot prints tattooed on me and I wanted every imperfection and the exact thing. He helped explain why we needed to increase the size a small amount to get the look I wanted. Very helpful staff, clean professional environment, and amazing work!

Worst shop experience ever . Came in with a cover up idea , spoke to the owner Aaron . Gave him time to draw it up , he never followed up with me . I called in to reach him and every time I called he “wasn’t there” . Also there is a $20 deposit I payed for him to do his job as an artist so he ripped me off , total waste of time ! I would never recommend this shop . To be honest it was like he didn’t want to put in the extra work because I am of African descent , A true artist would expand their talent and tattoo on all shades of skin ! Step you’re game up it’s 2018 . So glad I didn’t spend a penny more than the $20 I lost out on .

I got a cartilage ring peircing today, it was a great experience. I was told how much it would be beforehand and everything was sterilized in front of me. Positioning is excellent on my peircing, looks great. They listened to what I wanted, but also gave me advice when I asked.

Had two easy tats done of the outlines of AZ & NY states. The lines were not sharp & crisp. Disappointed overall. If they couldn't get a simple tat right, I'd be worried about anything more complex. Still looking for a place I trust as I have three pending tats I need to get done but won't be here.
