Love this studio. I went yesterday to get my second piercing from this place and had another great experience. They walk you through every step before, during and after your piercing to provide with a wide understanding of the responsibility and aftercare of any piercing you're getting. Prices are also very fair as I got a piercing for $40+tip when it's a ridiculous $80+tip anywhere else. Everyone is super nice and friendly and it's a very comfortable setting. Would definitely reccomend this place to anyone!

This shop is the absolute best! I went in for a nostril piercing, and Megan was just the best! The shop is so very clean. Which always makes me feel good because I know they care about where they work. Megan talked me through everything, what to expect and made sure I was comfortable before she did anything. There was no surprises! Everything was really clean and well done. When I had mentioned my cartilage piercing was re pierced, she offered to help me out and stretch it for me for a very reasonable price. I left twice as happy! The aftercare instructions were very clear, and she gave me her contact info if I had any questions or concerns. I am so happy I drove out to see her and will most definitely be back for future work! I've frankly never seriously considered a tattoo, but following my 14 year old daughter's passing in June of 2016, a result of her and I being hit head-on by a drunk driver on Christmas Eve the year before, I wanted to get something in her honor. As a Christian, I wanted to support a shop with similar values and was pleasantly surprised to find Salt and Light nearby. Joel was my artist and he very patiently worked with me on some ideas I had until we settled on the right design. He asked if it was alright to pray before he started, which I was more than agreeable to. It didn't take very long, was not the least bit painful, and I was quite happy with the results. In my case, the healing process was minimal. I highly recommend Joel and Salt and Light - especially if you are a newbie like me.

They only sell supplies to "professional artists only" think about all the untapped potential these clowns pass up.. SKIN DEEP is where it's at! Great tattoo shop! This place is very clean and well lit. The staff is awesome. And the prices are very reasonable. I will be going back to get more work done. Went back to get more a quote to get more work done and I was stunned when they told me the quote. The first time I went it was a very reasonable price including tip, this time the quote was outrageous 900$ for a quarter sleeve they said it would take 6 hours. Went to go shop around at some other shops and found that most other ones were asking 500 max. I don't know what changed but i wouldn't call it a reasonable price anymore. I'd recommend shopping around at other shops first.

There's only two shops in Arizona I trust, Salt and Light, and Inkbomb. You can't go wrong here with these artists, some of the most hardworking, creative people I've ever met. I've seen reviews where people are complaining about over working, scarring and their skin getting messed up, that's not the artists, that's the customers trying to find people to blame for not properly taking care of their tattoos. If you want quality, and you want artists who care, then Salt and Light is the place.

I had my tattoo done with Sean, and it is better than I could have imagined. I emailed online, sent 2 reference photos and some details about what I wanted and when I got to the shop a few days later Sean had it drawn out and it was perfect! He totally nailed the design I was going for. The vibe of the shop is awesome and inviting too. I only say that b/c a lot of the shops I've been to before try to be intimidating b/c the staff want to make it seem kinda dark and intense. But this place is great, and Sean is just a super cool guy, I had a great experience and would absolutely return!

I will always have the memory of my husband but to have these tattoos and to talk about him daily is really rewarding. I couldn't have asked for better way to express our life together than through these tattoos! The shop is clean and well put together I highly recommend stopping in. Cristian was excellent. He was friendly and professional. His work took more than 4 hours with me and he was careful to ensure my well-being and comfort. His design captured my idea exactly. I knew what I wanted and had researched and found Sean at Salt and Light through his portfolio as the perfect artist to create what I was looking for. Even though I clearly don't look like the "typical" client, I was warmly greeted and treated with the utmost personal respect by everyone throughout the process. I received a Terrible tattoo here! Overworked so badly caused deep scabbing in several places, became infected and turned into scars. Not to mention the tattoo is ugly! My flower actually looks like a demented clown face! It is so clear that I wonder if it wasn't done intentionally. DO NOT TRUST YOUR SKIN TO THIS STUDIO!!
