Went last night to have a tribute tattoo done for my boyfriend who had recently and tragically passed, Cooter did a tattoo for Abraham back in December, and the mother of Abraham's child and I went together last night to have it done and we could both not be more pleased. It is absolutely beautiful and the attention to detail is amazing. Every place I went today, I was stopped and complimented on the beautiful rose. I will never go to any where else. The relaxed vibe and welcoming atmosphere added to an already amazing tattoo experience. Thank you Cooter from the bottom of heart

These guys looked at me like I was an idiot when I walked in and asked for a tattoo. The one "artist" there didn't seem too confident that he could do what I was asking and had no interest in getting my business. Horrible customer service and the shop just seemed gross and dirty.

Went in to get a tattoo for my child's father who has recently passed away. Cooter had done the same tattoo on him last year and did it on me last night. So much attention to detail!! It is an amazing piece of art and I highly recommend this place!!!

Walked in to get a very simple tattoo. Bender was great, he took a few of my ideas and within minutes had drawn exactly what I wanted. In no time he was at work and I was done. They are great guys, fun to chat with, very professional, and great at what they do. I definitely recommend them!

Got a tattoo a few months ago and satisfied with it, not impressed though, when comparing it to my other tattoos it looks rushed and scrunched and like he pulled my skin too far apart and then it healed alittle close together, it hurt more than my other one too even though they were done both on inner forearm. Dan also showed up to my appointment an hour late ( that's why I think he rushed my tattoo) that's when I should've said no thanks and done it another time but ya live and ya learn. If I didnt have better tats to compare it too it looks cool and I've gotten alot of compliments on the tattoo!

I set up a appointment with Bender for Feb the 20th for 5pm. Came in at 4:45pm and he was waiting. Took him seconds to prep for my tattoo and was ready to start on time. I had asked for a skull and cacti and if he could come up with something that involved the two photos I wanted. He showed me the drawing he made and it was pretty awesome. It took him two hours to do. His lines were perfect. I actually have 5 other tattoos and I'd say number 6 is the best one I have on my body thanks to him! Bender was super friendly and kept a smile on his face. He is proficient with his work. I was blown away to see the outcome of my new tattoo! The way he blended the color and did the highlighting and lines so well was very impressive. I highly recommend Bender to tattoo at hard luck. I was very (extemely) pleased with the outcome,time,and money I spent tonight. Thanks again it's beyond beautiful!!!!

Dan is a amazing artist and the people he hires know what they are doing. I highly reccomend this shop if you are looking for a good clean tattoo. Inwould give 100 stars if o could. Plus you dont have month long waits just because holdfast has the reputation it does and has more word of mouth being its prescott and businesses only thrive by people suggesting this place or that. Give this place a shot you wont be dissapointed.

First I'd like to say I didn't have very high hopes for this place. It looks kind of beat down and unprofessional on the outside, but don't judge this book by the cover. The guys inside were eager to help me and my newly wedded wife get symbolic tattoos. It may seem a bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. I had a dragon tat done with blending colors which turned out amazing and my wife had a rose done which had very good shading. Our artist, scruffy guy(can't remember his name) was a truly amazing artist and just an awesome guy to talk too. I came in with a specific design and they tweaked it to my liking and gave me a good price. I hope my artist reads this review and knows his art is appreciated by me, my wife and many people that stop me to see our new tats and ask where I got them. Most people haven't heard of this shop and I don't understand why. It's AMAZING art by AMAZING people.
