Very clean and nice studio. Juan Andraus has done most of my designs and tattoos and he is a great artist! I drive 50 miles plus just to have him work on me. I don't have experience with any of their other artists, but definitely worth a trip to downtown Scottsdale to check them out!

I gave this five stars. I am an established 40 something professional who wanted to get a meaningful tattoo. Upon visiting dreamscapes it was immediately apparent that this is a clean, classy establishment with artists who were clean-cut and friendly. Their advertisement of the importance of cleanliness caught my eye. It is like no other tattoo place I've ever visited. I ended up with two tattoos! Let me suggest Juan as he did beautiful work for me and my best friend. He is truly a talented artist and so fun to be around. I was immediately comfortable after spending a few minutes with Juan. If you know what you want and you're just looking for the right place, trust me when I say this is it and Juan is your man!

I called in today and asked about getting a quick fine line tattoo. Just a small constellation. I was told they were booked for most of the day but if I came in after 4 they could accommodate me. I came in around 4:30 and was told they had one more tattoo that go from their earlier group, they gave me a reasonable quote for what I wanted and I said fine. We came back an hour later and they were not only available to accommodate me but also my friend! The quality was go great and the touch was super light! For sure will come back here again! Thanks for the great work!!

Ok so I went to Joe at Dreamscapes Tattoo for a small coverup on my right forearm. I ended up going in for 2 sessions and doing a half sleeve because JOE IS AMAZING! He doesn't rush you out the door, he listens to what you want and then makes dreams come true. SUPER CLEAN SHOP, friendly artists and a very personable experience. Cathryn was amazing putting up with my myriad of emails prior to my appointment planning my tribute tattoo for my father. I lost him to suicide two years ago, and it was important to me that the semicolon in my small design stand out. She took my original design and adjusted it to make sure the semicolon is prominent, and her suggestions of shading have the design great depth. I’ve been planning this tattoo for years now, and I’m so thankful for her help in making it a reality. Cathryn, you were right - lidocaine IS life-changing! The girl that did my tattoo did a horrible job. Spelled a word in my quote wrong. I then called the shop an spoke to a guy an he was rude an very unprofessional said it was my fault. I sent this lady the exact spelling an I ended up with a misspelled word an it's my fault. Came in on vacation an just ruined my body I will never come back to this shop in my life. I wish I could leave a million bad reviews.

I went to Dreamscapes to get a tattoo with Juan. I couldn't possibly be happier with the experience. He was friendly and courteous, and created a tattoo better than I could have ever expected. I had a particular design in mind but felt my idea was lacking in some ways. Juan worked with me to improve and perfect it, and made sure to describe his vision clearly so I knew exactly what it would look like when finished. And I couldn't believe how beautiful it looked when he was done. I cannot recommend Juan enough, and whenever I'm ready to get my next tattoo, I will definitely be getting it with him. Update: 9/24/2019 I knew when I was ready to get my second tattoo, I'd be sending Juan a message. I was stoked to see he was still tattooing here. Juan (who also goes by Hans) is currently working on a STUNNING tattoo for me. I sent him a pretty generic request with what I wanted, and he offered to design something more unique based off that. He also said that if it wasn't my style, he could go with something more traditional. I was a little unsure, but knowing how creative he is, I wanted to see his vision. The concept art he sent me was beyond anything I could have hoped for. I thought I already connected to my idea in a symbolic sense, but he took it to the next level and made it so uniquely me. My tattoo is half-completed, and in another week I'll be returning for Juan/Hans to finish it up. What can I say, this guy is creative, talented, and experienced. Do yourself a favor and check him out if you're looking for a tattoo. He's amazing!
