I had a horrible expierance here. Some of the staff at this shop are very rude (some were kind and listen to my concerns). While there I over heard a few racial slurs (hence why I did not want to come back). I had some issues with the tattoo I got , it was something that was part of my culture not just a tattoo for fun. Something happen to the artist that had worked on it originally. At this point I had been trying to call and get it fixed for over a month. I spoke to the owner Paolo Acuna, I was very polite.... I wanted my money back so I could pay another artist to fix it; at this point I didn't want these rude people working on the tattoo who don't respect other cultures. he said "its your problem your responsibility you want to be taken care of and that's not how this works." He is right I thought that my issues would be taken care of...yes I expected care from a westerners who's shop is full of Buddhist statues to act with care.... He was very angry and rude. I asked if he could please stop talking down to me, I was just trying to solve the issue; he than hung up on me. I tried to call back to at least get my paper work...I was ignored and had to call on another number just to get them to answer so I could get the paper work. Please don't go to this shop if you have any issues its your problem this place is the fast food of tattoos. Some of the staff have a great disreguard for other cultures ....

Lovely shop with "Devine" artists. My wife and I are very selective in our artists. We value talent, integrity and creativity over price. My wife searched the valley far and wide and stumbled on Austin... I'm a painter with over 20 years experience, and professional digital artist and now developer. I "shadowed" my wife's consultation as she tends to be impulsive (loves everything without really thinking) and Austin's sample and stencil were simply... Extraordinary. As all good artists are she was a bit bullish; but that just made me sure that my wife was in good hands. She wasn't cocky, she was sure-- Confidence is never bad. I had tiny suggestions as a classical artist and Austin listened but made sure it was what my wife wanted. She ended up doing an extraordinary piece, she worked far off hours and stayed hours after closing and the result is... Simply breathtaking. If I could give Austin 10 stars I would. Her work is beautiful and this picture doesn't do it justice. But it is a work of art that will be adorned for a lifetime. Thank you Austin! (We're big in the humane society, large representatives in several dog recuse and have an unhealthy obsession with our fur babies. I can't stop staring at this work. Simply breathtaking)

My 3 friends and I went in last week to all get roman numeral tattoos for our friend who passed away. Charles was absolutely awesome and super friendly. Love the atmosphere of the shop, very clean and upscale. Everyone was helpful including the ladies on the phone. It was all of our first tattoos and we all felt comfortable. Clean line work, they all came out great and exactly how we wanted them, Charles drew up several fonts and was nice to talk to- reasonable prices for the services provided We will all be back :)

LISTEN to these professionals they will not mislead you in the very permanent pursuit of personal enlightenment. My artist, Nicole, took my idea for a tattoo and made it look perfect. She cleaned up the design, perfectly placed it in location and then she set to work on completing the tattoo within a timely manner. The after care of new works are clearly stated both verbally and in writing and...And you get free touch ups for 1 year. Your next tattoo is going to be a Divinity tattoo!

I was really nervous about getting a tattoo since this was my first time getting one in Arizona and I didn't know of any artist or where to go, but Alex was a great artist. He understood how much this tattoo meant to me and he did a great job picking out the lettering and making sure that I loved it before he tattooed me. I would recommend him to anyone! Plus this place is very clean! I could have given it a 4 because I had an issue with one of the artist's but once I got switched over to Alex, everything went perfect and they made sure I was happy! Thanks again Alex, I'll definitely be going to him every time I get tatted out here even if he were to switch shops!

The dark wood furniture, the color and artwork on the walls, the music, and the fragrance from the essential oils burning make for a very inspiring atmosphere for the artists. This is a very clean shop. This was my first tattoo and all these elements made it very relaxing for me. Now, the artist Tyson is a friend of the family. I knew he was gifted, but the design he created for me was phenomenal! Thank you Tyson for an amazing piece of art that I will carry with me always. I was recommended by a friend to try this place for a tattoo, so I went with an open mind. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly woman in a super relaxed atmosphere. I described what I wanted, and she directed me to three artists' portfolios. I ended up choosing Misty. I spoke to her that same day, described what I wanted, and gave her some creativity to work with. A short time later, I returned and was blown away with what she came up with. Great work, great detail, and an amazing experience. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tattoo!

Wandered in on a whim as I was looking to get some ink for v Friday the 13th. Most tattoo shops run specials on this day of the year, surprisingly Divinity did not. I was so impressed by, firstly, the decor of the shop, and secondly the friendly staff that I decided to ask a few questions about their artists work. I found an artist whos style was in line with my tastes, booked an appointment and HOLY HELL am I glad I did!! Just finished my first of what will be many more pieces to come, and I am absolutely over the moon with the entire situation. HIGHLY. EXTREMELY. INCREDIBLY RECOMMENDED for all of your tattoo needs! My next appointment is on 10/5 so I can another piece done to compliment the one I got today.

I was so impressed with my whole experience at Divinity Tattoo. I googled "highly rated tattoo parlors in Phoenix" and so glad they came up! From the moment I walked in to the moment I left with my new tattoo the whole experience with every member of the team was phenominal!! I never felt unwelcome and the atmosphere was so gracious and friendly, all staff member were attentive and kind. Based on the tattoo I wanted I was suggested to go with Patrick. He made my very first tattoo a positive and fun experience. He answered all of my questions and when I apologized for being picky he was quick to say "oh no, I am looking at this for a few minutes, you need to look at it for the rest of your life." Everyone should have someone like Patrick for their first tattoo!! 1000% would recommend this shop and Patrick!!

Wonderful place to get a tattoo, they have many artists to choose from. My husband and I have gotten different tattoos here and love them all. The pricing depends on the artists but it is reasonable for the beautiful artwork you get in return. Also they love appointments and do require a deposit.

I am naturally a very anxious person, so I was very nervous for my first big piece (half sleeve). While going through Dan's portfolio I thought he was diverse and talented. Dan always made me feel very comfortable and we have a blast chatting while he goes to town on my skin. The shop is very clean and the staff is always friendly, no ego's in sight. I wish communication would have been better in order to ensure color options were something we agreed upon. You live and you learn.

This shop accused my friend and I of being "too intoxicated' to get any artwork done. We both are prescribed medication that is to be taken daily. We even brought in the prescription bottles as proof and they laughed at our faces. These people were absolutely rude when we walked in. And acted as of they were the king of tattooing. The bald guy was a complete a**hoe to both me and my buddy. DO NOT GO TO DIVINITY. They over charge and have horrible customer service.

so i wasn't sure whether i was getting a tattoo or not, when i got to the place very clean and the receptionist friendly, they direct me to the artist in this case Nathan, he was the best person that i could have ever find, the process he make it smooth and was able to help fine tune the tattoo i was getting, while getting the tattoo he was always nice and easy to talk to. I will recommend this place to anyone who is the market to get a tattoo. prices aren't cheap but after you get the tattoo you'll see why they are worth the money.

This was my first tattoo parlor, and I very much plan on keeping it! Nicole was my artist, strongly recommended to me by a friend, and she was fantastic. I am very happy with the quality and artistry of her work. The shop itself was very nice as well. It didn't look like much from the outside, but as soon as you step in, it looks great. The place is covered in beautiful artwork in all different mediums. It was very clean and professional feeling as well.

GOT A TATTOO WITH A GRAMMER ERROR HERE. I came here about a year ago for my second tattoo, and had Toby as an artist. I have a form of dwarfism that makes me appear like a living doll. And so I had wanted a tattoo on my back that says "She may be small but she thrives". Unfortunately I ended up with "She MAYBE small but she thrives". The maybe was not capitalized I just wanted to point out the grammer error. After it was finished and I pointed out the error to him at the front desk, the two other employees started backing him up saying it was correct grammer and that he wouldn't mess up like that. Then I asked to see the paper where I wrote what I wanted down. Toby then told me he already threw it away. That made no sense because it was a file, and even so you can grab it out of the wastebasket. I was then charged and asked if I'd like to tip. It was all extremely unprofessional and unkind! I am still extremely embarrassed of my tattoo and am working to get it removed.

The tattoos I've gotten are by far the best pieces of art I have ever gotten. They have managed to look fresh, even years later. This is specific to Ray Sanchez. BE WARNED, do your research on him and look up his reviews at other places hes been. Dont be fooled by his talent, he doesn't do good business and has scammed many people. He took my $400 deposit and never followed through with the appointment or returned my emails. When I asked for a refund multiple times, he finally answered me and said he doesnt do refunds and that was that. He was super nice when it came to booking the appointment, but awful to deal with after. I personally know 4 people who he has taken deposits for and never did the work or even return their calls. There is a lawsuit in the works against him doing this to many others.

If I could give less stars, I would. I am experienced in the tattoo world as an apprentice. I got my 8th tattoo here and it was an awful experience. The staff were all friendly and professional. The shop seemed clean and professional. My friend and I got matching tattoos together, done by different artists. Their aftercare instructions were questionable, but still, we trusted their judgement. Not two days after getting our tattoos, they were blistering, burning, extremely sensitive, puffy, and red. Considering they were on our lower leg, above our ankle, they should not to hurt walk on, but they did. We are looking into getting our money back and we will not be returning to the shop.

Most tattoo shops are more like cool kids clubs and they treat you like you don't belong as soon as you walk in the door, not Divinity. My friend and I were treated like family as soon as we walked in and our artist Dan was an amazing artist and a good conversationalist. I will be going to this shop and recommending it for the rest of my stay in Phoenix. 5 out of 5.

I would definitely have to say it is by far my favorite tattoo of the ones I have! & I will definitely go there again! Employees were very friendly and you could tell they only hire amazing people from looking through the portfolios! Pricing wasn't bad at all, pretty much the same as I paid for my other two, but service and quality were at least 10 times better! There was not one negative thing about my whole experience there. Going here has been my best tattoo experience by far. The shop is meticulously clean, even the bathroom was spotless. There are true artists here. I didn't find any of the artists or employees to have that snobbish attitude which you find in a lot of tattoo shops. I felt completely comfortable and welcome. The tattoo I received here is by far the best work I've gotten. My friends and family who have seen my tattoo have said they will go there for their future work. I'll be a customer for life.
