Big shout out to Xavier! I randomly selected this shop to check it out and talk about a tattoo and look at portfolios from all the artists. They all were impressive but i decided to go with Xavier. I was never able to get my tattoo. I texted the artist the day before my appointment to confirm and he wasn’t even in the state (what if I had shown up at the shop the next day prepared for my tattoo?). We had previously discussed date, time, and I had already paid my deposit. My money was not returned.

To be Honest they don't even deserve one star! Ownership is always changing. Staff was rude one gentleman harrased us out the way to our vehicle. Never helped direct us to another helpful location. Been here multiple times old and new owners please steer clear. They add a lot of there own 5 star review a. Warning use different shop!!! Been going to this location for over 6 years going further downhill. Will never go again or refer anyone. My sister had issues with tattoos and piercing there befor as well. So unprofessional they had me shaking and so upset as a dissatisfied customer. Never again!!

The vibe the staff gave off was very negative and I'm pretty sure one of them was bullshitting me lmao I asked for an estimate for a tattoo I showed them which was 2 roses an the guy told me it'd take like 8 hours which is a lie bc my friends mom has similar detail to the pic I showed him an it only took 3 hours for hers.... he also said it'd cost 1,000 and for that small of a tattoo should not be that much lmao I don't think this shop is fair and if did take you 8 hours to do that you either suck don't know what you're doing or were fr bullshitting me

After looking at a lot of spots I came across Dark Horse Tattoo. After looking at their website I went to set up an appointment and it was a very clean and chill tattoo place. I was helped right away and decided to go with Xavier Price! Got my tat done the following week (today) and it was an awesome experience! He drew me a piece just how I wanted! Amazing atmosphere and a totally chill session. Definitely a great and memorable first tattoo experience! I absolutely loved my tattoo! I’ll definitely be coming back for some more work from him! James has done multiple pieces on me including a large cover up and a full forearm piece. Good artist but unfortunately I was planning on him coming out to do a cover up over my tattoo at a convention and flaked out last minute. It was not a surprise, I have him detail on my cover up- the scarring involved, etc. The detail I wanted on my new tattoo, dimensions, and my height and weight. Planning on him coming out caused me to miss out on some good artists. We discussed pricing, down payment, time, and date. He said he would have difficulties with some part of the project and told him he could remove it completely and he ended up just not texting me back altogether. Good artist- but totally unprofessional.

Matt Garcia, best in the business! After a LOT of research I was fortunate enough to work with Matt Garcia on a leg piece that took about 15 hours. Best decision I’ve ever made! I’ve never seen anything like it. He is friendly, professional and incredibly talented. He has a passion for what he does that is unmatched. He worked with me on the design, did exactly what I wanted and even steered me in the right direction a few times to make sure the tattoo came out perfect. He was so easy to work with and instantly gained my trust for an undertaking of his magnitude. I’ve seen thousands of tattoos online and on tv, etc and this is by far the best one I’ve ever seen. I’m incredibly OCD and I’ve stared at this thing for hours and hours and cannot find a single thing wrong with it! Literally perfect. People constantly stop me in the store, at work, etc and ask to see it and the reaction is always the same. “Wow where did you get that?!” Thanks Matt! I couldn’t be happier with the work you did. Even my mom loves it and said it’s the coolest thing she’s ever seen and she hates tattoos!
