Great people. Amy was outstanding and I got great piercings. I never had a piercing done before this and she totally made me feel comfortable and the procedure was relatively painless. I got a dermal done and one inside my ear. I even have an issue where the ball fell out on the ring so I called them to let them know. They told me some things you just come in and have it replaced. Without additional cost.

Not a good experience. When I got there I explained to Kenzie (sp?) what I wanted: a small, memorial piece and even brought a draft idea of a sugar skull. He immediately said it wasn't possible to do something so small (4") but he'd play around with the design. I told him I was very open and flexible on the design just not the size. 10 minutes later he called me up to the counter with 2 printouts, one for my size and one for what HE thought it should be. I wish I could say we went back and forth but he and the staff (3 other people who were hanging out by the counter) just kept saying no, not possible or not practical to every suggestion I had. What suggestions did THEY have to try to accommodate my size preference? 0. Literally, everything Kenzie said was "No" or I would only do it "this size" pointing to what he had printed out which was 3 sizes bigger and about $200 extra. I understand every client is a walking ad for the artist/shop so they protect the quality of the design but why the pretentious, my-way-or-the-highway attitude? I declined and left, got my tattoo at Immaculate Tattoo instead (see my review). I did want to give 2 stars because Abby was friendly on the phone and the place was very clean. Sorry for long-winded review, but wanted to be detailed to say there's a professional, courteous way to steer a customer and then there's Club Tattoo whom seemed to care more about their reputation than customer needs. Needless to say, I would never go back or recommend.

Had an awesome experience here. Walked in off the street yesterday (middle of the day Saturday) to get a consult for a couple 3 x 4” tattoos (& hopefully get them done if the artist had time). Ended up with Allen. Very cool guy with great ideas for where to put the tats and tweaking my designs (which I asked him for). Made me feel VERY comfortable. Laid back guy who’ll make you laugh... great chair-side demeanor. Fortunately, he was able to get me in! He had to custom make the main color on one of my tattoos and he did a great job... PERFECT! I was in and out of there in 1:45 mins... from the moment I walked in (and waited 5-10mins for the consultation) to when I left with my new tattoos. They weren’t the most complex/detailed tattoos but he took care doing measurements and aligning them to make sure they were EXACTLY as I wanted. I wasn’t necessarily THAT particular about it but Allen is! Again, that’s part of why I went with him... he’s into the details and that’s make his art great! I have another tattoos I got 20+ years ago I’m going to have him touch up soon. THANKS ALLEN! ***Highly recommend!***

Honestly, I have been tatted in multiple states across this country. All the way from northern Oregon to south eastern Florida. I came across the tattoo parlor on my way through Arizona and I’m so glad that I stopped. The customer service was astonishing and the tattoo artist was even better. The time and care he took was in matched by any place I have been. This place has its roots in the ground and won’t be going anywhere for a while. Strongly suggest giving them the opportunity to paint your canvas. 6 out of 5 stars!

Most amazing visit today to Club Tattoo. Met Chelsea at the front desk. Super friendly, absolutely sweet as could be. Acknowledged me immediately, heard my plan, and then let me know my artist would be arriving momentarily. I got in right at 11am (when they opened) so the wait time was minimal. Chelsea introduced me to Tony (@TatTonyToo) who would be my artist for the session. I explained what I wanted for my coverup and Tony dialed in immediately to what I was looking for. We had the design up, confirmed, and ready in a matter of minutes. The entire session was just a couple of hours, based on the size of the piece I was having done. Through it all, Tony was very friendly, engaging, and even accomodating with something to watch on Hulu while he worked. I cannot brag enough about the service, the great attitudes, the atmosphere, and the beyond professional ink to which I was introduced. This is my ONLY go to place for ink. There will never be another. Much love to all the staff at this location for such a terrific experience!

Went in for matching tattoo’s , they said this shop was the place to go. Got quoted 180.00 each and thought well that sounds high but figured you get what you pay for. I paid and my girlfriend went first and during the tattoo the artist throws away the empty color bottle and when I sat down for mine he had to go borrow color to do mine. Two different brands of yellow. I should of sat up out of his chair then but wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. A week later our tattoos don’t match , he went too deep and the lining isn’t consistently done. In places the ink didn’t even stay . I won’t throw the artist under the bus by name but he knows who he is and so does the manager. Now the manager is saying we love the work and asked for free work. Lol. I have her emails that i will post on my Facebook page that contradicts her response . Never get a tattoo from Kensi, the tattooist at this shop. I didn’t threaten anyone by saying I’d post a bad review. I keep it 100% real. This is a legitimate post by Santiago, Jim is English for Santiago. The owner sounds like Trump, saying “ fake news” stating fake review .

Phenomenal! I came in for a touch up and add on work with Tony at Club Tattoo Mesa and he LIT up my tattoo. I came in with a dull faded tattoo and he was able to bring the tattoo back to life. Piercer Amy was amazing!!! I am one of those complete needle phonics who panic over bloodwork and injections and so, despite really wanting some new piercings, I was terrified. This was especially true as I had decided to get my nipples and navel done. Everything I read online said that nipple piercings hurt A LOT. When I went in, Amy made me feel so at ease. Slight pinch of the clamp, deep breath, needle through, barbell in, done, repeat with other two piercings. Honestly, getting my ear lobes pierced with a piercing gun hurt worse. It didn't even take very long for everything. Navel plus basic barbell cost $55 Both nipples plus barbells cost $80. Anyone looking for a really amazing piercer should definitely go see Amy.

Hands down best shop. Clean, professional, courteous. The artists pay close attention to their customer - always trying to keep you as comfortable as you can be, give you breaks if you absolutely need one. This is a tattoo and piercing establishment of good repute. The area this location is in is a bit grubby and run down, but the inside of the store itself is nice, clean, well lit. Touchscreen monitor banks allow you to look through some of the work done by the artists there. A large glass cabinet sparkles with jewelry of all sorts. There are wall racks of Club Tatoo-promoting clothing for purchase. The staff at the register counter have been very friendly (and not fake friendly, but honest-friendly) and informational. I do not have a relationship with the tattooers but I've "worked with" both piercers to a certain degree. Amy is the one who did my piercings and she is WONDERFUL! She is funny and very easy to talk to; very personable. I HIGHLY recommend making sure you go in when she's available when you're ready for your piercing. I assume Burni is very good at his job as a piercer, but he has a cold demeanor and makes me uncomfortable. If you don't like smiling or talking or a friendly manner, then Burni is for you (I'm not making a joke, some people are just like that and that's okay). Equipment is kept sterile in bags and opened once needed. Piercing sites cleaned before and after piercing and piercer wears clean gloves every time a pierced site is touched. Post piercing visits for information or questions not charged -- I even went in to have a piercing site looked at and Amy took me in a room, gloved up and took a look before making her recommendations and didn't charge me anything! In case you're wondering, yes, I left a tip because that was super cool of her, but my point is that they don't charge for every little thing. After a piercing you need to keep the site cleaned with a special saline solution (NOT contact lens saline solution) which you can purchase there for convenience. For ANY piercing questions, no matter how "stupid", call them. They will always treat you with respect, treat your question with respect, and answer everything thoroughly.

Phanicing At The Chemical G-Note

Excellent experience they answered all of my questions and helped pick what piercing was right for me. Piercings are a little pricey but the quality is worth every penny. Employees were nice and helpful and explained how the process would work. I traveled to Arizona from Iowa with my dad, I considered getting my first tattoo but I wasn’t sure at the time. The second I walked into Club Tattoo I was greeted by the staff instantly, we told them our thoughts and right away they brought out the tattoo artist that would be doing our work (Ina). I knew right then that I wanted my tattoo done by them. Ina knew exactly what I wanted and made me feel completely confident in it. The price was expensive but I would pay that price again to get such quality work done. YOUR PAYING FOR HIGH QUALITY WORK! Just by explaining what I wanted done Ina drew it out exactly how I explained and even better! I was beyond impressed with her! After scheduling our appointment she gave a warming goodbye and seemed genuinely excited to work on me. The day of our appointment I was extremely nervous considering it was my first tattoo but when I walked in the ladies at the front desk were so helpful and calming. They made me feel like I really could do it! Ina showed me her sketch and it was absolute perfection. Almost like she took it right from my head! She talked me through the entire process making me feel calm. She asked me at least 3 times how I’m doing and reassuring me I’m not making her job harder even with all my twitching. The finished product brought tears to my eyes, the tattoo was very sentimental. She explained what I needed to do to clean it and ensure it won’t get infected and she even gave me a hug after finishing her work. Club Tattoo has very personable artist that genuinely care about you. Just wonderful people. I plan on flying back out to get more work done by miss Ina and I really don’t want to take any attention away from the other great artist but if you want an amazing person and artist ASK FOR INA! I’m so incredibly happy. Thank you Club Tattoo for hiring perfect people to represent you!

I had previously gone to a different piercing shop who told me my naval was shaped wrong and folded incorrectly. I went in to club tattoo worried that I was going to be told the same thing. what happened was the exact opposite. The staff greeted me upon arrival and were super helpful with getting me checked in and feeling right at home. Amy, then came out and assessed my belly button. She saw no issue and helped me pick out jewelry. She was incredibly inviting and made me feel right at home. During my piercing, she made me feel comfortable. The prices were way better than the previous shop that had told me my body was shaped wrong. Amy is fantastic and I would recommend this shop for piercings to anyone and everyone. My wife got me a gift certificate for my first tattoo and after doing some research on the website and Instagram I found Tony and his amazing work. I scheduled with him and want disappointed. He is a reassuring and professional artist and did an amazing job with my ink. I just went back for an 8 week touch up and he really showed that he cared about me and making my tattoo look great. I highly recommend Tony if you are looking for a great person and great artist. The shop itself is modern and clean and well organized. The patrons and other artists are very down to earth, supportive and personable and all had fest things to say about the work that Tony did.

The staff is friendly and nice. They have a great jewelry selection. But I had a terrible experience just trying to swap out some jewelry for a cartilage piercing. They don't do appointments but told me the wait was 20 minutes, after an hour I was rushed into a room with the piercer. She struggled badly with inserting the earring and wound up pulling very painfully on my ear for over 10 minutes. After a lot of pain, bleeding, effort, and expense for earrings I felt rushed into buying, she sent me on my way. The earring fell out the next day. I went back in and was told they don't do refunds, even for defective jewelry, and I would have to wait another "20 minutes" for someone to help me. I wasn't about to spend more time and money only to risk the same pain and have it fall out again. I went home and my husband used pliers to insert the jewelry. It hurt less than when the piercer did it and stayed in. I should have just paid him to do it in the first place. Won't be going back to Club Tattoo.

I've been here 3 times now and have had great experiences each time. The first time, I got 2 small tattoos. The second time to get a cartilage piercing. And the third time was today to get new jewelry for that cartilage piercing. I don't remember who did the tattoos, but they did a great job and turned out exactly how I wanted. Burni did both my cartilage piercing and jewelry change and he is amazing! This was my first piercing since having my lobes done as a baby, so I was nervous and I couldn't believe how comfortable he made me as well as how painless the process was. He clearly detailed the healing and aftercare process and helped me pick out the perfect jewelry for it. Highly recommend this place. The staff has always been incredibly nice and helpful every time as well.

Our experience could not have been better!! My 9 year old daughter and I went there today for a little mommy-daughter time. She got her ears pierced and I got my nostril pierced. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted with so much kindness. Everyone was so wonderful to my daughter and made her feel so comfortable which was a huge deal for me. Amy, our piercer, was a total ROCKSTAR! She sealed the deal and was completely magnificent! I do not have enough amazing things to say about this place. Every single staff member in club tattoo is friendly, happy, and inviting. I have seen the work of all of the tattoo artists and they’re all amazing. While i was getting my piece done, i heard other artists singing and laughing while they worked on their clients. Everyone was so happy and having a great time. The entire facility is clean and hygienic, with such a friendly and professional atmosphere. My artist, Ina, took my idea, made it better and then utterly perfected it. She mastered this huge piece that covered the entirety of the backs of my legs. This piece took three 8 hour sessions, but Ina was as excited as i was to do this and i could never, ever have imagined that it would turn out as absolutely perfect as it did. Every artist in this facility is brilliant, but my experience with Ina was exceptional and i am so fortunate to have her work on my legs forever. I highly recommend anyone in this facility, but my direct experience with Ina was amazing on so many levels. She is an out of this world artist.

I went on Sunday for a piercing with Burni, and he was very professional, the process was quick, the front desk staff is friendly, and the shop was very clean and minimalist, which I adore. But Amy is a whole different story. I was feeling a little down on myself, and I went back to Club Tattoo to consult for nipple piercings. In less than five minutes, Amy appeased my doubts about the process (which as a piercing fanatic I was still terrified of the impact), and we got to work. She made me feel like I was talking to my best friend; I opened up about what was bothering me, and her honesty is just what I needed at that moment. I thought I will scream in pain, but Amy has blessed hands, and even though I squealed, she assured me I was doing great, and ultimately, the pain was not as bad as I expected. After everything was finished, I felt very different, like a badass, with a new confidence I never had, which is the kind that you can't fake. And she made me give her a hug, which I'm sure she knew I needed. Club Tattoo needs to know that Amy is an amazing person, and a very knowledgeable and inspiring piercer. I've been to many places before for my piercing needs, but I think I found my home at Club Tattoo in Mesa.
