Looking for a new artist to do some work. Was able to look at some books and found the work of two artists to be what I may be looking for. Shop was clean, however they weren't busy and we were there for about 20 mins and to be honest there wasn't anyone there to answer our questions so we left. I may come back because i like to support local business or call to ask questions but for now I may look elsewhere.

I would recommend Bright Ideas to anyone. Jason was my artist. He does fantastic work, and is more than willing to work with you on your time, and doing something within what you can spend. Very friendly environment, all the other artists were very helpful and friendly. Jason has finished my half sleeve on my leg, and I'm going back again to have him finish my other half sleeve and I will be going to only Jason for the rest of my tattoos

Dilan is the guy to go to for all your piercing needs. I have had alot of piercers pierce me and Dilan is by far one of the most kind and knowledgeable. I had my belly button pierced 2 times before and each time it has rejected. I showed Dilan and he right away knew what the other piercers were doing wrong. He pierced it for me, fast-forward 3 weeks, and it's healed already! I can't thank you enough! Seriously some of the best customer service frm a piercer you can get.

Chaz was extremely helpful and accommodating. I got my snakebite piercings out of state while on vacation and the guy that did them did not give me enough information on what kind of piercings I had and how to change them. He seemed very short and impatient with me whereas Chaz was happy to answer all my questions. She took the care and time to make sure I was happy with my piercings and aftercare.

Got my nose pierced for my birthday (3-30), was so excited I probably seemed weird lmao, but it looks amazing. I've got a little stud, super clean, super friendly, they went over cleaning care and all that jazz.. Overall super happy, will probably be back to get my helix done, and may even come in for a few tattoos! If I do, I'll be sure to update. Would definitely recommend them to a friend for piercings though! *Update 5-11* Went back and got double helix piercing and the bottom of my belly button. Was super happy again!! Seriously, if you want a piercing go here!

This is place is amazing. Very professional and clean. As I waited for Ron to sketch the piece the employees had several customers walk in and watchrd them be assertive and show clean practices. Ron killed the piece on my arm. I had an idea but I told him to use his judgment and it came out better than I thought. Definitely coming back to get more work done.

Anytime someone asks for a recommendation on a great tattoo shop, I always point them here! I've been getting tattoos at Bright Ideas since I was 19. I am now 27 with alot of great pieces. Mike, Rick, Ron and Jason have all done pieces on me that I love and I will continue coming back for more. The environment in the shop has always made me feel comfortable and love talking with everyone while getting work done. Makes the whole experience that much better!

My husband had his ears pierced here. I took my son here to get his ears pierced as well a few years ago. I went back and got my belly button re-pierced because I did it myself when I was in HS and it wasn't done properly (obviously). I didn't have any trouble with healing and am happy with the way it looks. It is straight now! Everyone is friendly, I felt welcome when I walked in. I will always recommend this place for piercing. I have yet to get a tattoo here, maybe soon!

Very disappointed I waited 2 hours for 2 of my tiny tattoos to be just DRAWN not even on my skin yet!!! and the person who was supposed to do it for me kept getting side tracked and was helping others that just walked in even though I paid my $40 deposit and was supposed to be first priority! Very disappointed not going to come here again as well as they were being very unprofessional talking about inappropriate things and letting other customers talk about inappropriate things and getting so side tracked.

Customer service is terrible. No one at this shop seemed to take me seriously. My reference photos were lost, but somehow my deposit was already pocketed by the artist. Tattoo is mediocre at best. Coloring was decent, but the lines are horrid. Was scoffed at by the piecing lady upon entering the shop for my appointment. When I told her who I was there for she said, “oh wow you showed up” under her breath. I should have left the moment I heard that. This establishment was not professional in the slightest. I was never asked for my ID to verify my age, never given any paper work to sign, nor was I given any after care instructions. I find all of this very odd in comparison to other shops I’ve been to. Overall, I would not recommend this shop to anyone. My whole interaction there was essentially off the books due to their lack of professionalism.

Mike, (aka MTV) is absolutely the BEST tattoo artist in the Valley. His artwork, lines, coloring, shading and professionalism is stellar. He has done 5 of my 6 tattoos, and did a superb cover-up of the first tattoo I got elsewhere that made it perfect. Chaz, the BEST piercer in the business, is meticulous with her hygiene, gives you just what you want and is a very giving, caring person. I highly recommend Bright Ideas to ANYONE who who desires tattoos or piercings. Very reasonable prices, clean, friendly and absolutely a joy just to hang out there. I seriously don't write reviews for things, but I had to with this one... wasn't very happy with them. Honestly whoever did mine & my friends piercing wasn't very perfesional. Friend got her tongue pierced, I got my septum done. Guy kept talking to the other worker, didn't even go through the full process with my friend as she got her tongue pierced. Vaguely went over the cleaning process. Never made my friend wash her mouth out, or even cleaned her tongue. Just patted it down, making sure it was dry, doted it, then put the clamps on & stuck it through; but when he stuck the needle in my friends tongue, it didn't fully go through. So he took the needle out halfway through & had to pierce it again..... As with mine, he never did clean anything. Never staralized anything, no anything. I got my septum pierced, it's not even in my sweet spot, the piercing is down farther than where my sweet spot is. Overall, the only thing I would say about how sanitary this place is, is a 4/10. The only thing the guy who did our piercings did, was make us sign something & then put gloves on, get the stuff set up, & pierce. Didn't clean anything etc. The rest of the time, he spent socializing with the other worker.

I went and got my nose pierced yesterday and was so happy with the result! Arianna helped me pick out my jewelry and get the perfect spot on my nose and then Chaz pierced it. This is a terrible piercing place. I got my septum done and had to get it done TWICE in the same day because the piercer could not do it correctly and even on the second time it was through the cartilage (which it should not be) and it was crooked. I understand septums are a very hard job to get done and i understand if you get it crooked but it should not be through the cartilage. My grandma was getting her nose pierced a few months ago and was not asked any questions, so when the lady pierced her she was bleeding profusely and continued to bleed until the next day when she went to the hospital to have it taken out. The piercer should have never let her leave the place bleeding as much as she did. Being a professional piercer you need to be upfront and honest to your client letting them know if something is wrong. If you want a good piercing for a little more go to HTC to get it done. I went to get new jewelry and the man there could have easily made a sale and sent me home with new jewelry but he gave me some excellent advice and i will be returning to get my septum repierced.

I have used other shops. Not a first timer. I recently went in to get my nose re- pierced I was shock at how amazing my experience was. Was way better then my initial memory of getting it done (@alley cat in Glendale). Tristen (sp) was amazing took his time was in no rush was very thurow in making sure we didn't have to repierce. I was very comfortable to say the least an I don't like needles haha. Was an amazing experience with who I feel was pretty honest an informative about 101 questions I had asked. I've had Mike do ink on my hip, 7 years later I'm still proud to show it off. Also have a piece on my foot done by Rick that 5 years later I'm still just as proud to show off. This shop has certainly the most respect for health. They ain't scared to wash their hands an go through gloves... That I fully vouge for first hand experience's. I would recommend this shop always.BRIGHT IDEAS INK. THANK-YOU!!! from a loyal west side local.

If there was a negative star I would give it to this tattoo shop. I waited an hour for the artist to show up and he never appeared so then I asked for my deposit back and right when I get to my vehicle the artist Jason decides to show up. Keep in mind, I had my appointment scheduled for about a week to a week and a half, and had given them my deposit upon scheduling my appointment. I didn’t even receive an apology or access to a different artist. I even showed up 15 minutes early so I knew I wasn’t late. Horrible customer service and they clearly don’t even care about keeping their appointment times with their clients. Will never return to this place ever again.

I first came to this location on Monday and the artist I spoke with was very professional. I had good vibes so decided to go in on Friday for a nose piercing. I noticed there was someone sitting on the couch when I arrived on the phone. I stood there waiting to be addressed at the MINIMUM. Well, no luck. I turned around and realized that the person on the couch was off the phone. I asked him if he worked there and he said he did and asked if I needed help. ................................... The most basic form of customer service is to at least address the potential customer. I know the value of money. Times are hard, spend your money where it's appreciated.
