John was available and I have been coming back to be tattooed by John for the past two and a half years now. I took my newly 8 year old daughter there today to get her ears pierced. The piercer was super professional, explained everything to my nervous, yet excited daughter, had all different types of earrings already picked out for her, and walked her through the process. I came in as a walk in the place was nice but the piercer chase did my piercings crooked. He told me it would be like that because of the swelling for a while. He gave me the wrong size piercing which dug into my skin causing alot allot of pain and overall I wasted $70 + $20 tip at this place. I ended up taking them out and letting the piercings close.

The employees were all super friendly and the vibe in the shop was comfortable. Mandy helped me find the perfect artist for the tattoo I want and took the time to get all the details and book an appointment. She talked with me as if I was a friend of the family even though we had just met. Love this place. I go here all the time, and will never go to another shop again for piercings. Can't say anything about the tattoos, but the piercer are great. Chase and Mandy always do a wonderful job and the shop is very clean. I've gotten my tongue, both my tragus's and my nipples done and Mandy was great for all of them. Chase has changed out my jewery on occation and he was also fantastic. Their prices are also amazing for the awesome work they do. They're really professional, but honest, and I really like that in a business. I feel like I can say how I feel and make friends there. Getting the back of a half sleeve done by Ryan. He is very professional, patient, and treats my tattoo as if I was family. I am absolutely loving the work he is putting into my custom piece. Chase is perfect too for the piercing side of the shop. He found me my favorite plugs and pierced my pain sensitive 6 year old daughter perfectly. The owners even came to talk to me and made me feel like a VIP customer. I am going to tell everyone I know (wife going to Ryan soon too) to go here for any tattoo or piercings. This place was amazing. I took my 4 year old in to get her ears pierced. Mandy did so great with her, explained everything, and distracted her for a bit in between ears. Unfortunately my daughter half pulled one out a couple hours later wrestling with her brother. Mandy let us come back hours after they closed to fix it for her. While my daughter cried during the piercing, she was fine a minute later. Her ears are obviously not in pain. I'm so glad we chose this over some place in the mall. Such a better experience! Everyone was so nice and helpful. The shop was clean, and made us feel comfortable, even bringing a 4 year old in.

They don't insist on putting the jewelry in for you, which is nice....I mean, after having piercings for 20 years, I think I can manage putting in my own nose ring, thanks! Lol! (Of course, they are more than happy to do it for you if you need help, but they don't make it a requirement like HTC does) and their prices are better, which is a huge plus!

They are a little pricey, but nothing crazy, and honestly you get what you pay for, respect your body enough and go to someone who knows what they are doing. The reviews on here are all very outdated. The shop is now run by the husband and wife duo of Mandy & Chuck. I've gotten 8 piercings and a tattoo here. The atmosphere is awesome. They are both amazing people who are very professional and really good at what they do. It didn’t hurt at all and he walked me through the process of where the piercing would go in my septum and where it wasn’t going, how to clean it, the differences in the sizes of jewelry and best practices for flipping it during sleep. He was also super nice to my Tiny Human who wanted to get her ears pierced but then decided she wasn’t ready. He was still really awesome with her and showed her all the cool earring studs she’ll get to choose from when she’s ready, which she thought was super cool. Phenomenal service! Will recommend Chase and Ace to everyone! Thank you!!!

I went there yesterday to get my Helix piercing (9/22/18) and I didn’t even feel the needle go through. I did feel the jewelry go through which didn’t even hurt much, everyone was telling me how to except it to be pretty painful but honestly I hardly felt it; and my pain tolerance is pretty non existent. It was a bit sharp throbbing for the rest of the night not not near as bad as I was expecting. I woke up this morning (9/23/18) and my ear doesn’t hurt at all, it a bit if I touch it but if I just leave it alone I don’t even feel it. I’m so happy with the results and the placement is perfect. I would highly recommend going here the piercer was so nice and he made me feel very comfortable and he was so gentle I give him all the credit in the world for why I’m not in as much pain as everyone else said I was going to be. I would definitely return here when I go to get my second piercing.

I've gotten 2 of my tattoo's done here. One under the old owner, and one under the new ownership. My ex-wife had all of her tattoo's done by Chuck, and her ears stretched from day one by Mandy, Chuck and Mandy really know their craft's, and I would highly suggest either for your body modifications. I've seen the work of a couple of their other artists, and I have to say that I'm quite impressed. Lastly, all of their qualifications and training are hung up on the wall, and they take the safety of their clients seriously. While some re-use needles or use other unsavory practices, they do NOT. TLDR: This is a great, safe, studio that I would highly recommend from personal experience.

I came here to get a second ear lobe piercing just above my first, and the guy that did mine (I forgot his name) was very nice and let me take any last decisions about if I want this piercing or not. He made sure I was happy with the spots they were going to be (which he marked with a little ink dot). The people there are very welcoming and friendly. They don’t try to rush you with your money or piercing. This place is a lot cheaper than most ear piercings yet has better quality! I'm would give - 1 star if an option. I've gone on twice to consult about a tattoo. No help or guidance at all both times. I need to have my tattoo fixed on my hand another was else where. Both Very small. This goatee, 5'3 honey eyes man today was so rude, condescending and didn't help me at all like I'm an idiot. NEVER GO THERE! Take advice from a RN, yes, RN who knows something about anatomy and public relations. I will spread the word to my people, across the board. Lucky to keep people informed. Visited Ace Tattoo today with my two adult daughters. Between the three of us, we had two tattoos done as well as two us of getting pierced. Having had previous piercings before, we had knowledge of what to expect. After getting really fast but patient, talented service, we realized that their work was far beyond what we'd received elsewhere. Chuck kept us involved with creating our artwork, and Mandy was gentle and incredibly precise with her piercings. Ace Tattoo and Piercing has lots of jewelry options, anodizing jewelry before your eyes, getting you the exact color desired. Everything was clean, sterilized, and completely professional. As Mandy said, "We don't have customers. We have people whom become our friends." Thank you for the five-star service for myself and my daughters.

Just got pierced today by Chase. I was a little nervous about having a guy piercer because it was a chest piercing. But he made me feel so comfortable. He was friendly, quick, and careful! Very clean and professional shop. I would highly recommend Chase for all your piercing needs.

Got our 9 month olds ears pierced. Chase was AMAZING! He really knew what he was doing. He was super nice and worked with us over our daughter freaking out (from laying down, not so much the piercing). He gave us tips on keeping her ears clean. The shop itself was incredibly clean and the staff was friendly. We will definitely recommend this shop to friends and family, especially for babes getting ears pierced.

An amazing experience. I was planning to get a tat for my best friend who passed away a year ago. I wanted his handwriting in a commemorative tattoo—where they mix the ashes of a loved one in with the ink. It’s completely sterile and safe if your artist knows what they’re doing. I also wanted it done specifically on the 29th of August, as that was the anniversary of his passing. After multiple calls and no dice, and one shop that treated me like a lunatic (won’t name names...rhymes with Shwarma Pattoo), Ace had NO problem with what I wanted and was able to get me in on the day I wanted. John set the appt for me and was the one to do my tattoo, and I just cannot express how unbelievably thrilled I am with the results. He got the handwriting and his signature absolutely perfect, and was extremely careful and respectful with the ashes. He was so kind and receptive to any changes I wanted to make. The whole experience was very emotional for me and I love looking at my best friend in the mirror every day. Thank you John, for helping me to keep him with me wherever I go in life. I will absolutely be back and will be asking for you! Thank you, thank you, thank you! ❤️

I was recommended this place by a friend to get tooth jewelry so I chose to come here above other places. Got 2 installed which cost me $80 not including the tip. I was told beforehand they may not stay the first time that there was something wrong with the batch but they would replace them for a month. The very same day I got them put in they fell out. I went back in a week later to get them put in again. The same day again they fell out they didn’t even last me 24 hours... I called to let them know about this issue and all they offered was to get them put in again. But why would I waste my time to drive out and wait to get them put in again for them to fall out the same day again.. a COMPLETE waste of my time and money. Paid $80 for something that I didn’t get. No issues with the staff whatsoever but why even offer a service that is defective?

I definitely recommend Ace Tattoo! I’ve always gone to the same artist in Tucson for all four of my tattoos but we moved so I needed to find someone closer. I was really nervous but Mark did an AMAZING job. He is genuinely talented and I’m so glad I found a place to go to from now on. He is very patient and great at giving suggestions/explanations. My wife and I have been going to the crew at Ace Tattoo for 3 years now, Mandy did my dermal and was the nicest and most badass chick ive ever met. Her and Chuck are some of the kindest people you will meet, Mark finished my sleeve before my wife and I moved out of state and the color still looks brand new. Now that we moved back to Arizona we are so excited to get back into the shop for some more tattoo work done by Mark. We have a appointment set up mid November, we will share after pics of both mine and my wife tattoos. Before you make a painful mistake check out this shop! Update: I've since worked with John to lay down a great deal of art on my leg working towards a sleeve, an upper back piece, and have began a sleeve on my arm. The work varies from traditional to black & gray to dot work, and every piece is truly stunning. It's really dope to watch his art come to life, and to see other artists working with their clients. I can't say enough about this shop. Thank you for the lifelong art and a wonderful experience at every appt Ace! This shop has been around since I was a kid, and I finally came in a few years ago with my brother who was looking for a piece. He and John partnered together for a tattoo and I couldn't help but come back for myself. He's done a small finger tattoo, a forearm tattoo, and quite a stunning piece on my thigh that all are beautiful and often complimented. All of the artists I've seen have been inviting, funny, comforting and overall professional. The shop is clean and organized, they're very transparent about the processes of tattoos and piercings, and the energy is always positive. I'm planning to go in this week for a consult on the rest of my leg! I recommend this shop and its artists to anyone looking for a quality tattoo done by persons who take pride in their work! (My dad, his gf, and a friend have all had work done by John after seeing my tattoos)

I went to get my tragus pierced but after I talk to Chase about the reason why I wanted it for my headaches he said that the best place was the daith. I was kind of scared of getting it done but he made me feel comfortable and secure. My husband and I really appreciated him, he explained us how to take care of it and how to clean it out I’m thinking of getting my other side done and when I do I will go back with Chase.
