Each time I have a session at Headless I find another reason why I'm so thankful that I selected them for my work. I had been planning out my next piece for a number of years, and the crew at Headless were very helpful in walking me through what to consider in regards of style, size, placement, and even timing for when to get it so that I did not have issues with aftercare. Lastly, I've greatly appreciated their attention to detail that they've invested into their process, their shop, and how they engage with their clients. Couldn't be happier thus far.

A policy of a downpayment of 50 dollars becomes voided if there is an uncontrolled inconvenience in your life that makes it difficult to show up to an appointment that you waited 2 months for. Not to mention this small important detail is not made apparent in the beginning of the consulation. Mediocre and money hungry shop that is too high up on a pedestal to connect to customers. 0 understanding, have never met a tattoo shop run like this.

This place is awesome. I have been going to Big Al for a half sleeve and he is rocking it. I couldn't be more thrilled with the quality of work. I've spent many hours there and seen a lot of work from others there as well. Every piece I have seen has been outstanding. This is NOT a run of the mill pick something off the wall kind of shop. Everyone there is talented and one of the best group of artists around. Make an appointment for a consultation. You will be glad you did.

Walked in looking for a dinky finger tattoo. The young guy on duty stated repeatedly that it'd look bad and that he'd charge $100 to tattoo "friend" on my finger. The dude talked to me like I was an idiot and it was super disheartening. I've got a finger tat and a few more and I'm aware of the risks that come with finger tattoos. I understand that it's the dudes profession, but there is no reason to be an assshole to potential customers. I didn't even want a decent finger tat, the word "friend" was meant to commemorate 5 years since my bff passed and I didn't Care if it was perfect or not. I will never step door in the shop again. Turning a person away is fine, but speaking down to them is unacceptable. Truthfully, if he was a good enough artist he'd be fine with it, I guess the dude just sucks at his job.

I had a tattoo done here. It came out alright although there are a few things I don't like about it. These guys are unprofessional. In the middle of my tattoo, the artist kept answering the phone and greeting customers because the owner decided to screw around in the back room instead of working. It pissed me off. Why does an artist have to do the owner's job while he is in the middle of doing a job??? It made him forget a period after an initial on my arm and he made the rest of the outlines too thick and dark so the tattoo is uneven. The stars are also not sharp on the points and wobbly... I also notified my artist I would like ADDITIONAL work and he never followed up with me...jeez...money on the table and no follow up...guess they don't need the money... I think that once you get a tattoo, a week or two later the artist should call you and ask you how it is healing and does it need any touch-ups...but this never happened. Because I got a vintage tattoo, I decided to leave it alone and if I get it fixed, I will go to Electric Chair tattoo...they followed up with me within three days of receiving my design. Once I get my cover-up done, I will give them a review as well... Be careful when you pick a tattoo shop and artist...the design will be on your skin forever. A competent person and reputable shop should be your choice... I included a photo of my tattoo. Take a good look at it and tell me if my review is wrong. A photo is worth a thousand words.

Got 2 tattoos from this place and intend to get many more! I had Big Al as the artist, who is phenomenal, but everyone here is incredibly nice and accommodating, along with a wide portfolio. The atmosphere is unique and features special booths (for each artist) and decorations all over the place, along with a pool table to keep people busy if they begin to get bored. If you're planning on getting inked or thinking about it, I'd strongly recommend checking Headless Hands in Mission Ks out.

I had a great experience here. Big Al was understanding about what I wanted and that I was very nervous about getting a tattoo. We talked about what I wanted and then did a nice draw up of a design. Yes, it hurt but not as bad as I thought it would. Everyone was very nice and put my jetters to ease. Although I might not get another, this is the place to go for a clean and stress-free experience.

Don't listen to the website or the words on their door: walk-ins aren't welcome. The 50 dollar deposit is weird. I have had many tats and never had to pay a deposit. The guy at the front desk is dismissive and snippy.

The place is wonderfully decorated in a simple but dark theme; there's art everywhere. They also have a super awesome tarantula in the back corner that is adorable.

I was not even greeted when I walked in, they could care less about my business. Very Poor customer service, staff is unknowledgeable had no clue how to do a cover-up. I went to another shop and they did an amazing job covering my old tattoo and was quoted a way better price, do your research there are definitely better tattoo shops out there who have the customers best interest in mind.

They will offer free consultations and you can make an appt with a small deposit that will go toward your price of the tat. Each tattoo artist have different prices, all of them are very talented. The owner ruined my leg! If you want professionals that are kind and make you feel like your the one who matters and not the money, dont go here. He picked a picture from Google, I liked though and decided to continue with it. He was supposed to add black and white flowers to my previous tattoo, the first petal looked great, but in the end the flowers were so dark and never lightened up. When I went in the second time I confessed my concern with the tattoo he blew it off and when i told him I didn't want to continue he literally threw a fit and walked away. He kept my down payment and did nothing to try and make things right. I thought I would have to get it removed but Luckily I found exile tattoo where he was able to cover up the ugly black flowers with amazing colorful flowers. The black from the flowers previously still shows through because they were so dark but he was able to make it fit into the new flowers and make it look it was meant to be there.

Sure there might be some places that are cheaper but there works sucks. Headless Hands is also the cleanest tattoo parlor I have ever been too!
