Lia did an excellent job with the alterations for my Maggie Sottero wedding gown. It was not a simple task (the dress had many layers of lace) but Lia completed it within one month. She also attached a sash and a corset to the gown after I had purchased them on my own. I called other bridal boutiques for quotes, and they required at least two months with the gown or they would charge me a rush fee (I received my gown 6 weeks before my wedding). The quality of service was well worth the 30-minute travel time from my house to her location. The prices were very fair, and I loved the "mom and pop" feel to the store. I would highly recommend her for bridal alterations!

Best in the business! I had entrusted her with a $450 Ralph Lauren Purple Label dress shirt, and she turned it into a now priceless dress shirt for a very low cost. I prefer my dress shirts mega-tailored/slim fitting (not skin tight, but very little air pockets). She slimmed the waist/torso and added darts in the back. My shirt is a striped design, therefore, I had a concern the darts would make the stripes appear inconsistent. Lia was able to make them absolutely symmetrical. The real challenge was reducing the sleeve circumference and to tighten the armpit. I had brought this to several tailors and stores and they all stated they could not do this without an advanced tailor and/or machine since they would have to entirely deconstruct the sleeves and armholes (I definitely could understand this and it made logical sense since you cannot adjust one without the other). Somehow, Lia pulled it off and it looks amazing. The shirt looks fashion form fitting as the models from Ralph Lauren and Tom Ford would design theirs shirts. The two cherries on top of this was A) it only took one week versus the traditional two or three weeks, and B) she charged a fraction of what is traditionally charged (most tailors would charge a fair but large fee for the waist and darts alone, Lia charged 1/4 this traditional cost for the waist, darts and the impossible sleeve reductions). The cherry on the cherry is that she is an absolute sweetheart - extremely charming to work with. Highly recommend!
