The Studio was great. I went to all of my appointments by myself and wasn't exactly sure what to expect. I felt very welcomed and comfortable. Everyone was friendly and easy to talk with. I ordered my dress in 3 separate pieces, so I wasn't sure the direction the "design" was going to go. After meeting with my stylist and talking through what I envisioned, I don't think I could've had a dress that was more ME. We did a lot of "nip/tuck" with the 3 pieces that were being put together. We completely turned it into a personally designed wedding gown. (I didn't mind bragging about that my wedding day) She really listened to my ideas and turned them into real life. I would certainly recommend going here for your bridal alterations.

If there was an option for 0 stars, that is how I would rate this studio. As someone who is getting married for the first time, I didn't know what to expect in many aspects of the wedding planning process and, thus, placed a lot of trust in those in the wedding business. I had a lovely experience buying my dress at Vera's and the ladies there recommended I go the the Bridal Sewing Studio across the way. I did and regret it deeply. They did a horrible job: my dress was dirty (loose black, red threads, dust, odds and ends all embedded in my dress and at the bottom of the garment bag), the cups were hastily sewn in (cups were not placed under the fabric or even trimmed, just folded over), the bustle was done using a tag gun, so that the slightest amount of pressure would cause it to break, and I was charged $500 for a hem, the straps to be shortened (they only pinned them in) and cups. I had to take it to another seamstress to completely fix what they had done her and she charged me a total of $125. I cannot emphasize this enough - do not take your dress (that you likely spent more on than you care to think) to this place. I am so disappointed - I have never written nor made a negative review in my life. But here it is. Do not go here!

Awesome experience! Gave great advice for what accessories went with the dress, did a great job with the custom work we did on the dress, and didn't nickle and dime for little tweaks. Loved working with them.

Miriam altered my dress perfectly!! It was flattering in all the right places and I could still sit down. Tania also helped me with any and all questions I had about my dress!

My older sister just got her dress from Vera's and had alterations done here, and she could not have been happier with the results! She had several big alterations done to her gown, and you would never be able to guess it didn't come straight off of the rack that way. Really wonderful staff and fantastic service!

Mother in law found 2 pins the day before my wedding still in the dress. This place should get multiple insert cups to choose from, I kept having to adjust and pull up my dress due to too much padding.

Absolutely wonderful!!!! Mariam is outstanding! My final fitting went smooth, I had a couple spots I wanted taken in a little bit more. I went to lunch, and when I came back it was done and fit beautifully. I highly recommend.

Unfortunately, I was not extremely happy with Bridal Sewing Studio. When I came in to pick up my dress on my "pick-up" date, the dress did not fit (I had not gained any weight). My seamstress told me it was an "easy fix" and to come back the next morning. I came back the next morning and the dress was way too big! It finally fit correctly on the 3rd pick-up day (thank goodness), but I was seriously considering taking it somewhere else after it didn't fit the second time. Fortunately, it was beautiful and the hem was done very nicely once it finally fit! For $500, I expected a better outcome and little stress for my alterations. I would recommend looking somewhere else!!

Tania at The Bridal Sewing Studo was fantastic to work with and I couldn’t be happier with the alterations made to my wedding dress. During my first appointment she went over, in detail, all my options. Afterward she sent me several pictures for my approval before making it permanent. My 2nd (and final!) appointment the dress fit perfectly. She taught my bridesmaid how to properly thread the corset and bustle the train. I feel like she truly cared that I felt my absolute best. I would highly recommend Tania and The Bridal Sewing Studio.
