Great for hemming, don't bother with wedding gowns. Sadly, she doesn't have the skill to perform couture alterations. Even after it being taken in twice, there were several inches she missed that could have been adjusted. David's bridal saved my dress. If you just need a hem or something simple, definitely go for it.
