Miss Kwon is an educated designer, which is much different than a seamstress you'll find in most drycleaner or tailoring shops. Her schooling in Paris, France alongside decades of experience creating, handling misfitting garments of every kind, and perfected work ethic not only puts her at the very top of any tailor/designer list, it is also fair to say she is the only one in our area that can do what she does. Every detail takes more time, but her established customers have returned again and again- up to 30 years for some of her loyal happy clientele. Once you experience this finer attention to detail and 100% customer satisfaction guarantee, you won't go back to the garden variety of seamstresses although well-meaning, they just aren't equipped to do this exclusive type of fashion designing and styling. We had a wonderful experience here when we stopped in with some clothes we needed altered for an upcoming wedding. The ladies did a wonderful job with my silk dress, it fits like a dream now. They also advised my husband to buy a new suit rather than charging us a ton to fix an old one that was out of style. Honesty is rare these days and I value it. Worth every penny.

I went here for a bridesmaid alteration. They charge $165 flat rate for all bridesmaid dresses, which is more expensive than anywhere else in the area, but I was willing to pay for the work, which I’d read was exceptional. I tried it on and we discussed taking up the straps, hemming it, and lowering the netted side panels. The dress was not ready on the day they promised it to me. I stopped by again twice the following day — the last time on the way to the airport. They did not complete the work on the side panels as discussed and as a result, it bunches awkwardly under my arms. They refused to discount the price beyond not charging tax, and I’m not one to make a scene. So now I’m out $165 with a dress that is uncomfortable AF and looks awkward. I’m going to have to find someone to fix it when I get to North Carolina for the wedding. Very unsatisfying experience, and I will definitely NOT be going back or recommending this business to anyone.

I recently lost about 40 pounds and my suits were literally falling off me. While I did purchase several new suits, I had two Armani suits I wanted to keep. Kwon was able to tailor them to my new size. In fact, they fit even better than my new ones. Now that I know how a Jacket is supposed to fit, I will bring Kwon all my future clothing. Great work... I’ve never used a tailor before so I was pretty nervous to bring in my bridesmaid dress, but these ladies are so helpful and so nice. The dress fits perfectly now and you can’t even tell it was altered. It is pricey, but they do great work in quick time. Will definitely be back in the future.
