Brought in my black Armani suit I hadn’t worn in over 15 years, was able too let the pants out and tailored the jacket! Looks amazing and fits like a glove

Seemed a bit pricey (got suit pants hemmed and the jacket sleeves brought in a bit), but he was quoted as cheaper by the place that I bought my suit from. Having never had anything tailored before though, I can't really speak to the expense. The important part is, he got the job done well, and very fast. Dropped the suit off on Saturday afternoon, and picked it up Monday at lunch. How do you beat that? On the off chance I need anything else tailored, this will be my first choice.

Took some sheer curtains to get the width extended and the height shortend. He did a perfect job and the seams can barely be seen. He's also a really good guy to have small talk with!

This man is amazing! I called him at 4:30 on a Thursday evening with low expectations. I needed my suit coat brought in at the waist and the sleeves needed to be shortened. And I had a job interview the next morning. I didn’t expect anyone to be able to get the work done the same day. I’ve worked retail. I knew full well that I was that jerk calling in with unreasonable requests. But he didn’t hold it against me! He told me to bring the coat in. He stayed late working on it, and I came back late in the evening to pick it up. The price seemed a little steep, but I gladly paid it for the quality of his customer service alone! When I picked up the coat, it fit me beautifully and looked as good as new. His work was incredible. Henryk and I had a good conversation, and then I was on my way. Wore my jacket to the interview the next morning, and I got the job!

Had a dress shirt I needed altered and instead of working with me to fix the problem, he dramatically went on about how it wasnt worth it to alter the shirt. he ended the conversation by saying it'd be cheaper to order a custom dress shirt (surprise, its not). I asked if he had any recommendations, but he had none. I left feeling very defeated, even embarrassed. I later took my shirt to a friend of a friends and even though shes an amateur sewer she was able to help and now the shirt fits great.

Henryk is a very skilled tailor and has done all of the alterations we've needed. He's very nice and has always completed things in a timely manner. Call ahead if you're planning to drop/pick up things outside of regular business hours or on the weekend as his hours may vary. Parking can be challenging if you're driving there. Meters are usually available or you can park in the Parkade and take the skybridge over to the 2nd floor of the Chase Bank building.
