Do not take your wedding dress here. My appointment was cancelled on me three times, and when I did go in, she was 20-45 minutes late every single time. I went in for 3 appointments before giving up. I ended up just leaving with my dress 3 days before my wedding, and I was very disappointed with the outcome. The dress looked better on me when it was too big and pinned in place, and I would have rather worn it that way than how it looked when C&R was finished. I would not recommend you use this service, its unnecessary stress during a stressful time.

If you are a bride who does not care about your schedule getting rearranged continuously, and can handle the stress of your dress getting done days before you need it, then this is the place for you. While I cannot complain much about the final product, I was beyond done with this company and would never recommend them nor will I be going back. My alterations were never done when I was originally told they would be done. I was constantly having to rearrange my schedule to accommodate the seamstress. I got my dress two days before I left for my wedding, so had there been anything wrong with it, they wouldn't have been able to fix it. There were many points that I almost took my dress to someone else to have it finished. There were 5 seperate occasions that I was called or texted by the seamstress to push back dates, and one time where she didn't show up at all. I went at a scheduled time and she wasn't there. She was the most unprofessional, unorganized person I have ever had to deal with. So frustrating, and being a bride, there are plenty of things to stress about; this should not be one of them. Trust me, save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

The only place I get my alterations done. I’ve had places around refuse to alter a few outfits because they said it was impossible but with van anything is possible. The work comes out perfect . I’m excited to have my wedding dress done next ! You can’t rush perfection

Please DO NOT take your wedding dress here. I was very shocked with my experience considering the fact that my wedding planning team recommended her as well as Ava Clara where I bought my gown. At my first fitting Van pinned my dress so tight to the point I could not move and barely sit down. I told her it was too tight but she kept telling me it "had to be that tight". When I came back a second time with my sister in law we had to wait for over 30 minutes while she worked on the dress (because nothing had been done since the first time I was there). When i put the dress on after she finally did some work to it, I was almost in tears. It looked awful, the fitting was NOT flattering and looking nothing like the dress i bought. I lost all trust and hope in Van and ended up having to rush my dress to another seamstress who performed a miracle and managed to salvage my dress. This new lady told me that the dress was in very poor shape, had holes in it, and a strap that was even sewed on twisted. I wasted $500 on Van only to have to pay another $500 for the other lady to save it. Please do not go to C&R alterations, ESPECIALLY FOR A WEDDING DRESS!!!!

If I could give less than one star I would. I'm not sure where these good reviews are coming from, but my fiance has had MULTIPLE issues with this shop and the woman that owns it. Every time she has had a scheduled fitting it has been delayed. Even after the delays, the alterations that have been made are incorrect or not what she had requested. With only a couple weeks until the wedding this shop has added A LOT of unneeded stress in an already stressful time. I recommend not getting your alterations at C & R Alterations.

I left in tears. I took my beautiful wedding dress in and Van was nice for all of about 5 minutes. Just long enough for me to get in my dress and her to stick a ton of pins in making the dress just not fit the way I remembered when I bought it. Instead of hemming it she yanked it up at my shoulders and pinned along the top. She originally told me it was easy and super doable but when my mom showed up about ten minutes late I could almost see the dollar signs in her eyes. All of a sudden the price went up and up and up from what she’d originally said and finally she snapped and started chewing me out telling me I had to sell my dress and I had to go to the bridal boutique she works with and buy a whole new one and THEN she’d alter it. When I was finally in tears she changed her tune and told me she’d alter it if I couldn’t handle selling it but it would cost more and she was the only one who would do it and no one else would dare even touch it. Which was obviously a lie because then I took it somewhere else with the pins Van had put in still in it. My new seamstress gave me a much lower price and couldn’t believe the amount of pins that had been put in. She was going to butcher my dress. Needless to say, do not recommend. Literally go anywhere else.

I bought my bridesmaid dress a month before finding out I was pregnant and needless to say I needed it to be let out to zip it up all the way. I took it to another seamstress and she said it could not be done in time for the wedding, which was a month away. My heart instantly sank, but on the way home I saw C & R Alterations and decided to stop in and see if they would be able to do it. They were so nice and didn't even hesitate, the dress was let out with a little extra room for me to grow into and hemmed within a week. I would highly recommend them!

Van was so sweet and the alternations on my bridal gown were perfect.. She altered my dress in a quick timeframe and kept had me come in for a final fitting. When I told Van I wasn't sure if I had anyone to lace me in the long corset correctly she allowed me to get dressed there, 1.5 hours before I got married. Van made sure the corset lacing was just right. She even steamed my veil. I felt like a V.I.P. I really appreciated her going to extra mile for me!!!

I had the worst experience at this alteration studio. The young lady that owns it made me see her 6 times and everytime I went she had only taken in my bridal gown that’s it no other alterations where ever done. She would ask me to come back later or come back in an hour and I live 45 mins away it was a waste of time for me. The last time I saw her she had agreed to complete a lot of alterations in a week. I shows up and she had done nothing, she hadn’t even touch the dress in a week. So if I had come back the next day the alterations would have been rushed and sloppy. Do not go here if you want terrible customer service or if you want your wedding gown to be botched.

Van was amazing and my dress is perfect again. I honestly can not say enough about how wonderful and easy she made this entire process. I lost a considerable amount of weight after I bought my wedding dress, and was so worried about having it altered. Would it mess up the dress? What if I lost even more weight? Could it be done in time? Will it mess up the look of the dress? My best friend recommended Van and thankfully she was able to see me. From my first visit Van put my worries to ease. The dress had to be taken in about 7-8 inches and I needed a bussel. I picked up my dress last night, and it looks as beautiful as when I bought it. The shop was also clean, beautiful, and easy to get to.

I had my wedding dress altered here. I brought her a dress three weeks before my wedding and 4 sizes too small. She made the impossible happen!!! I can’t even explain how amazing this dress looked. She had to do more work than I ever imagined and this dress looked unaltered it was absolute perfection. I can’t explain to you how amazing this dress turned out and she thought and perfected it in ways I didn’t even notice! Her fees were so responsible and she worked with my schedule and came in at all hours to make sure I had my dress. I would send everyone I know here. My wedding was perfection because of my perfect dress. It was a small wedding but a huge dress it was the one thing I wanted traditional. They can be trusted with your special day! I will go in the future for all alternation needs!
