I have been using Nadias Alterations for 10+ years. She has altered clothing for all members of my family. She has hemmed dresses, skirts and pants. She has mended holes and taken in seams. She has replaced the lining in a men's blazer. She has helped with detail work on children's costumes. She is very clear about requests she feels are beyond her capabilities or that make her uncomfortable. At times when I have asked for an alteration that I perceive as reasonable or simple, she has explained why my request may be more complicated and time consuming (and therefore will cost more than I may have anticipated). I believe she has always been fair with her pricing. I will continue to and have recommended her to many friends. If your alterations needs are logical and she feels she can help you, she will. If she thinks she can't do the job, I respect her explanation. She deserves all 5 stars!

Nadia is amazing. She is incredibly skilled and detail-oriented and also clearly cares about meeting her clients' needs. She recently altered my wedding dress. During my initial meeting with her, she was open and honest about the challenges involved in meeting my requests (it was a challenging alteration). I really, really appreciated her honesty. She didn't mince words or lie to me and give me something I didn't want. She told me where my understanding was wrong so that I had a clear and realistic idea of the product I would receive. I left feeling very safe and as though I could trust her to do a great job, and she ended up exceeding my expectations. She worked some magic on that dress and somehow it ended up fitting me perfectly but looking as though she hadn't touched it. I honestly have no idea how she managed to do that, especially considering she took no measurements, but I guess that's how it works when you're an expert in your craft. I will definitely bring everything to Nadia from now on.

Nadia saved a $1250.00 suit of mine that was to big after i lost 50 pounds. It looked brand new. She saved me from going out and buying another $1500.00 suit. You can't put a price on that kind of perfection. I have always used Nadia and her work is always perfectly done. We are very fortunate to have such a professional in a small town like Northampton. I highly recommend using Nadia for all your tailoring needs. She can do it all. She is a single mother who paid in full her sons college education. She made many sacrifices to achieve this for her son. Nadia is a very special women. Please treat her with the utmost RESPECT !
