Mr. Hamdi was phenomenal. I called him two weeks before my wedding with a dress I'd previously been sure I'd need a corset to fit into now swimming around my body. It was a rough job - it needed to be taken in quite dramatically, had no bustling, and the chest was VERY unflattering. I was super concerned it would never look like the one I tried on. But Mr. Hamdi was so friendly, easy to talk with, and had me come in the very same day I called him. He took a lot of measurements, and told me to give him the week. When I came back, my dress fit me AMAZINGLY. I've never loved the way I looked in something as much as I did when I finally tried on my wedding dress - and isn't that the way its supposed to be? Thank you for helping me look my best on my special day, Mr. Hamdi!! BYE THE WAY, you can rent tuxes here!! If we had known that previously, I never would have stepped foot into overpriced Men's Warehouse.

If you are browsing reviews to decide which tailor to go with, here is my advice: choose Mr. Hamdi! You will not be disappointed. I came to Mr. Hamdi after accidentally ordering a bridesmaids dress that was far too big. It was my first experience getting something tailored and I was scared no one would be able to fix the dress. It took a LOT of work to take in the dress, but Mr. Hamdi explained each part of the work to me and how much he would usually charge for it. In the end he very generously charged me much less than that because I am a student. On top of his transparency and pricing, it was delightful to chat with him while he gathered and pinned my dress. It felt like visiting with an old friend. The dress came out perfect! Mr. Hamdi did truly beautiful work. I will take all my future tailoring work to him, and you should too!

3 days before my wedding- Alibers took in my dress and made it too tight and refused to fix it for me. They left gold saftey pins in my dress, didn't create a bustle and after paying $300 for alterations and ironed there were wrinkles left everywhere on my dress. The dress also didn't fit me 3 days before my wedding because of their alteration mistake....Mr Hamdi is a miracle worker. It took him less than 24 hours to bring my dress back to life and made it fit perfectly on my body. He is the nicest guy and does some serious good work. He is reasonable and will work with whatever you need. I trusted him with my $1500 gown with only 3 days before I say "I do" and he made everything perfect.

I first went to another tailor in Greenfield before going to Mr. Hamdi’s. I asked the previous place to reuse the original hem on a pair of jeans that I needed hemmed. They did not...and they ruined the jeans. I then went to Mr. Hamdi’s and asked him to do the same on a new pair of jeans. He reused the original hem and they looked so good you couldn’t even tell that they had been hemmed. AND to top it off...his price was the same as the other place that just cut and folded the jeans even though it is a much more involved process to reuse the original hem. Mr. Hamdi’s is top notch. I now head there for all of my tailoring needs.

I brought my wedding dress to Mr. Hamdi for alterations. It needed to be taken in and hemmed. He had to work through 5 or more layers. He also had to take the top of my dress in by hand due to the delicate beading. I was extremely happy with the results and it was done at a reasonable price. My husband and his groomsmen rented their tuxes there and we were extremely pleased. Not only is he extremely talented, he is also a very warm, friendly, funny guy who takes real pride in his work.

Mr. Hamdi is far and away the best professional to go to for any tailoring needs. Many businesses claim to be a tailor, but this man can make you a suit from scratch. That is a true tailor and not just someone who does simple alterations. I have been there often for work on my suits and have been happy each time. While there, I have seen other very happy customers; one of which was a woman getting work done on her wedding dress last minute because another local business had messed up her dress. She was so happy with his work and how fast it was done. I highly highly recommend Mr. Hamdi.

Met Mr. Hamdi years ago when I bought a tuxedo to have altered for my wedding. Perfect work, made a $80 discount tux look like a $3000 Armani. He is the hardest worker I've ever met. You'll never see him at his business sitting around or taking customers for granted. Furthermore, he'll always remember you by name, as well as have an archival recollection of your family and have a genuine invested interest in your well being. Not only is he a good person, but some people in this world take their vocation to an artistic level. I've seen this man beam from pride as if he we daVinci assessing the Mona Lisa, he loves his final product and wants you to love it too. The day of my wedding my vest needed to be altered; he didn't bat an eye and didn't let me leave until my vest made for someone 250lbs fit my slender 36S frame. Just got my linen pants back from him today, and although there were 2 other ways he could have altered my pants, he took the hardest way simply because the final product would look better. A local gem, good man who just happens to find art in being a tailor. Impossible to have a bad experience. Cheers.

Mr Hamdi provided all the tuxes with alterations for my daughter's wedding. The tuxes were of excellent quality, his measurements and the alterations were perfect. His prices were much better than the (nameless) warehouse store, and he treated us with curtesy and understanding. Even had tuxes to fit the two young boys in our party. He has also altered some second-hand sport coats I obtained cheaply. Interestingly, when I brought him what turned out to be an inferior jacket, he pointed out the flaws and told me to save my money, because his work would be wasted on that garment. I think sometimes we Valley folks are not used to such non-compromising speech and behavior and mistakenly interpret such as rudeness. Mr Hamdi has always been polite to deal with and excellent in his craft.

Hamdi is absolutely amazing. From hemming pants to completely reconstructing a dress to make into a skirt for prom, he has done everything. My dates rented their tuxedos here and looked awesome. Hamdi also has the best prices in town. Besides that, he owns all of the pieces so if you want a different color vest, or order the day of your prom, he can make it happen, unlike other places that get their tuxes from a different company. I brought a bridesmaid dress here that was 2 sizes too big and he made it fit like a dream. Will come here to have my wedding dress done! Couldn’t be happier with everything he has done for me!
