Mr. Di Matteo is a true old-world tailor — an artist, even. Out of the dozens of tailors I have seen all over the East Coast and West Coast, he is one of the two or three best. His prices are an excellent value. Someone of his skill level in New York City or D.C. would charge at least twice as much. He recently bailed me out by fixing an item that another tailor in Atlanta had failed to do properly.

Fantastic job. Took my suit in to have the trousers hemmed but tried on the jacket also and they pointed out my jacket was not a perfect fit, so they altered that also and now the whole suit looks and fits much better. Thank you very much.

I recently had my arm sleeves hemmed on one of my uniforms. When I went to pick up the uniform he stated that the price was $70. I was completely caught off guard as uniform shops on bases only charge about $20. Although he did a good job tailoring the uniform his prices are way to expensive.

I called up today to make sure they sew on Navy uniform patches for my husband. Some man answered the phone very rudely and when I asked him the question he acted like he had no idea what Navy uniform patches are. When I explained he said yes they do that. So I asked if I was able to drop them off today and pick them up at a later date. He starts raising his voice at me and tells me "Im not a magician and youll get them when Im done and call you". So I said that I understood that and didnt expect them with same day service. Then he went on a rant about how Id have to come in and let him take a look so that he can decide whether they would do it or not! We recently moved here and that is why Im trying to find a new tailor and we will absolutely NOT use this tailor. Learn some respect.
