Ms. Cookie is phenomenal at what she does. She knows what she’s doing and is very talented. After tailoring my son’s suit to perfection, she made him a complimentary pocket square to match his prom date’s dress. (And then she taught him to tie his shoes so the laces don’t show past his suit!) She does have a ton of work, so it may take a little longer, but well worth the wait.

I paid for a premium service and received a very sub par service. When it came to the day of picking up my suit, I called and texted and no one knew what the status of my suit was. I finally went into the location only to discover my suit had not been touched. I did not receive an apology, I only received excuses. I don’t know what kind of business Cookie runs but she is cheating people out of their money.

If you don't mind your clothes taking for ever to be repaired then I guess you won't mind A1 Alterations. When I dropped off my items I was told 2 weeks. When I called to see if they were done no one would answer the phone. When I tried to stop by a couple of times the shop wasn't open. I finally got a text reply but it was asking what I wanted. Never a reply to if my items were done. When I finally went in a month and a half later, one item that needed a zipper was done and I credit that to the fact that she sends zippers out to have someone else do. The blouse that needed an open seem sewed wasn't touched. I was told to come back the next day. I didn't as I didn't have time. In the mean time she became ill and her shop was closed for over two weeks. You would think she'd have someone else who would be able to cover customers, but no. She actually left a rather rude note on her business door to people saying that "your nagging and complaining won't help me feel any better or help your order get done any faster."When I finally was able to get in .....my blouse was still NOT done. She told me she had just found it the day before in a tub of things it wasn't suppose to be in. So she gave me the choice to wait or come back. I waited because I knew it wouldn't be done when I came back. I noticed the same MO with others as I waited the times I was in. She'd sew their item while they waited when they came to pick up. Won't be returning.

Cookie is truly a master tailor! I ordered a dress that was delivered from China . The dress was terrible. So crooked and completely miss-fit! It should have been trashed but I had two days until the wedding. Cookie completely remade it and actually made me look beautiful on my daughter's wedding day! Thanks for saving the day Cookie!

I thought they were going to know their stuff but I was disappointed. Wrong pick up time... The dress wasn't ready and we didn't end up using it because of the fit. It was fairly pricey too.

Had them repair a couple cost zippers. Quality looks good. Didn't ever get a voice message or text from them to say it was done, though.

Don't be fooled, Cookie has moved locations but the service is the same. She doesn't answer calls and doesn't do good work. The seam on my pants she tailored busted on the first wear! So sad.

Customer service is horrible. It took 3.5 months to get my items done and picked up. She was never there during business hours. She would say they were close to being done and I could pick them up and the next time I talked to her she hadn’t started them. I will NEVER return to this horrible establishment.

I never can seem to find pants that fit me properly, so I decided I should make them fit. A1 tailoring made that happen. The fit is perfect and it's nice to finally walk around in something nice. Would and will go back there again!

I have no good things to say about this business. Was promised high quality services and received the exact opposite. Shop is very disorganized, owner hires out jobs to other people so you never really know where your items are, and customer service is bad. Dropped off 4 items 6 months ago before a work trip. The pants that she tapered were a good fit but the new stitching was very noticeable and coming out in some places. A shirt had a snap replaced on the collar, which came out within a week. Those were the 2 items I actually got back. The other 2 items I’ve had to go back to the store numerous times and they were never fixed after this long, and sometimes not even able to be found in the piles. In the end I just took the last items back unrepaired and will take them somewhere else. Stay clear of this place, would never recommend this establishment to anyone.

I rarely leave a review, but have to on this one. Despite a previous bad experience with Cookie, I was desperate and decided to give her another try. The result- 4 slacks hemmed too short, I needed a liner in a sheer sleeve, and the liner she added was also sheer, so pointless, $40 for nothing, and a suit coat took 6 weeks or longer to be returned. In fact they lost it at one point. When I finally demanded they do the coat or refund my money, Cookie was rude. I would never recommend going to this place. Terrible.

Best Tailor I have ever had. Service is amazing and the job is done right every time. Prices can’t be beat and the job is done quickly. Plus, once you get to know Cookie you realize you never want to go anywhere else anyway.
